The experience I received from Renault was one of the best I have had from a dealership. The sales person was never pushing me to make quick decisions. Unfortunately the sales person left and I think my transition to another sales person was where I felt a little forgotten. However once I made contact with this person the experience was outstanding - if only I had this person from the outset.

This is the 6th car I have had from Renault and I have to say that Nathan was by far the best sales man I have delt with.


Sales experience was fine but contacting the service dept to book the car in for mudflaps was not so smooth. I had to chase the dept and<br/>Make several phone calls to get the price. It felt like I was asking them to change the engin not fit som mudflaps! The sales executive didn’t respond to my email when I couldn’t get any reply via phone.

There's no local Renault dealer in my area (Halesowen) so I have to go elsewhere. I bought my first new Renault Captur in Kidderminster 2 years ago and so when I decided to change it and<br/>also upgrade I decided to go to a bigger dealership (Wolverhampton) I had to wait a few weeks as I wanted the new model but was very pleased with the way I was treated and everything went quite smoothly.

I went into Renault with an idea of what I wanted. The salesman listened to my requirements and recommended a much better alternative for me. There was no pressure to buy the additional products but Jamie was knowledgeable about the package. I would like to thank Jamie for all his help in making it a positive experience- where nothing was too much.<br/>I was disappointed when I asked for a valuation on my vehicle and having had a valuation from the dealership two weeks previously it had been reduced by £2000- due to the clearance event! This could have lost the deal but the salesman did his best to get a better offer.

We had really poor service with Renault Solihull. Renault Wolverhampton's excellent handling of the situation is the only reason we have remained customers with Renault.


Sue was very helpful and understood our requirements from the outset. She helped us identify the best vehicle for us, arranged a courtesy car for the time between handing over our vehicle on the scrappage scheme and delivery of our new Captur. Apart from the issue over the air bag warning light, the dealership has always undertaken servicing and other work with the minimum of problems. The staff have been courteous and attentive and the car has always been returned in a clean condition.<br/>As the air bag warning light is a potential MOT failure, it is important that this issue is properly diagnosed and rectified soon without the customer feeling that it has overpaid for this work.

I was charged slightly more than quoted. It was returned with a significant fault that was new. It took 3 visits to be rectified, causing it to be off the road for 2 days and the cancellation of £240.00 worth of work. Would have been helpful my calls would have been returned after leaving messages.

This was my first visit to Renault Wolverhampton and we were greeted with a very positive assistant, I had no doubt I was leaving my car in safe hands.<br/>My only concern was I was not contacted prior to my service to remind me, It was myself who contacted the dealership to make the arrangements, who had no records of my car, this was it’s first service since purchasing the car in April 2017

The reception was welcoming and, as I elected to wait for my vehicle (for 3 hours), the surroundings were great and the attention I received was very good (eg drinks and refills). The vehicle was returned on time and everything was in order.

Low staffing levels meant that I had to call several times before someone picked up the phone in the servicing department to get an update on whether my car was ready for collection an hour after they had said it would be ready.

For second time running the car was not ready on time. When I went to collect the car the service guy asked me if I'd had a call to say the car was ready. So I explained I'd arranged to collect it at 4 and it was now 8 minutes past. I was offered a seat and coffee / tea. I waited a further 40 minutes while they got the bill ready. I am sorry to say I delivered the car in quite a dirty state inside the car. The valet didn't really sort this. If dealing with this wasn't included then fair enough. I was surprised to find the interior hadn't been wiped over.

I found the staff very friendly, helpful and professional.


My 2016 Renault traffic van with only 17k miles developed a gearbox fault immediately after being serviced.I contacted Renault Wolverhampton to report the fault via telephone call and was advised to bring the van in to be looked at and a loan vehicle would be available,I had to arrive at Renault w'ton at 10.00am ( I had been on nightshift until 5 am) to be advised that my journey had been a complete waste of time as they didn't have the parts in stock to do the repair that they knew that the van had been booked in for.I had to re book again but this time no loan vehicle was available,not a van,car,anything.I had to put a motorcycle in the back of the van to get home on,while unloading the bike and parked in a customer parking space I was harassed by a man who I assume is an employee demanding the keys to my van so that he can park it in the street.I declined as I no idea who he is as he is not uniformed and I have equipment in the van and did not want it parked off site given that your showroom is in one of the worst areas in the midlands for vehicle crime.He then became aggressive toward me for not complying with his demands.I was lucky to have been dealt with the one sensible person in the service dept who called me 2 days later to say the problem had been repaired,the problem was a bearing on the output shaft of the gearbox,a common problem with these vans.I asked if the replacement bearing would be a modified item as there is clearly an issue with these vehicles and he replied"don't know". On collecting my van I asked for it not to left in the street as it had equipment in the back for moving motorcycles which were only on board as you couldn't loan me anything at all,I arrived to find it,you guessed it,parked in the street....

Satisfied with the service however was extremely shocked to be informed that my car needed new brake pad and discs. My car had only recorded 16,000 miles and was informed the brakes and discs were 80% worn. When I questioned that it was relatively low mileage to require these new parts I was informed this is normal wear and tear for my Clio.


Welcomed and efficiently dealt with but the car came back dirty. I’m part of a service plan. I contacted the team and was offered a clean, but I’d need to return the car so would need a replacement. It is not easy for me


Pleasant staff, but seriously need to sort out parking, not an inch of space.


I was having two new front tyres fitted and arranged for me to arrive at 10.30am. By 11.30 my car still hadn’t moved from where I parked it. The job was finalised at 12.30 with no explanation as to the delay. As I was late for other commitments I paid and drove away. When I next parked the car I noticed how awful the tyres looked, covered in a white substance and the alloys were filthy. The following morning I had to scrub both tyres to make them look as good as the old two! I was tempted to drive back to the garage but decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. This is the first time I have been dissatisfied with Renault Wolverhampton.

I am sure a complete check is not carried out when booked in for general service because i have had to go out and buy OIL and top up with water or screen wash which i hardly use my mobility car , my things are just normally thrown down on the seats basically left in a mess also sreering ball taken off and when i call to say i cant get it on i am expected to know how it goes on and had difficulty putting it on i am then told to bring car in but cant drive without ball . overall not been a 100% happy with srevice in the beginning everthing started off good then went down hill.

Captur came for MOT also to track a noise it is still there will point it out when serviced<br/>in June. Otherwise visit good.


Apart from the poor valet and clean I received at the point of collecting the car (it hadn't been done so I waited, therefore felt it was rushed), I cannot fault the service or the attention I received.

My car was in for servicing and MOt and when it came back I couldn’t open my rear door and when I phoned to book it in a it was working perfectly well before it went into the garage and I could not get it booked in for 3 weeks - this is not acceptable and your customer parking is a night mare

There’s not a lot to do service-wise on an EV. However a minor problem was fixed, the car was checked, I received a video, and was washed.


Had first service , everything ok, but a few days later had problems with driver side lock on door. Renault couldn.t fit me in until 26th March . A few days later none of doors would lock. RAC temp fixed problem but car still needs to have original problem fixed.


It was great as usual, everything was ready when I arrived, loan car was great, everything explained when I picked the car up.

Service itself and video was excellent <br/><br/>Car was not cleaned as stated over the phone as part of the service. <br/>Washer bottle filled up but only with water which caused me to have horrendous driving conditions during the bad weather as I thought it would be normal procedure to add wash to the liquid. <br/>Water froze straight onto window then Water bottle froze so I couldn’t clean windows. <br/><br/>Considering this service was compensation from a previous negative experience from Renault it is more dissatisfaction and I am already looking at solutions to end my deal for when my renewal comes. Had better service off a second hand dealer locally.

My Clio is 16 years old. Purchased in 2003 from Renault Wolverhampton and looked after by them since purchase. It needed some work this time due to wear and tear. The work was completed on time at slightly less than the initial price quoted and the car runs like new. I am very satisfied and will be bringing in my other car, also a Renault, for service/MOT in April.


Received a friendly and courteous welcome. Waiting area was warm and welcoming with the provision of free drinks whilst waiting. Service was carried out and explained fully when completed. The service was quite lengthy but apologies were given for this. All in all a good experience.

This was my cars first service, reception on arrival was fine and on collection. The car seems fine so the service appears to be ok, I am not a car fanatic, the biggest problem I experienced was finding a place to park my vehicle,there was a chance of damage due to tight clearances .


Booked for car to be collected from my home address and returned back after service & MOT. Was collected promptly on the day. Service manager rang to inform me my car required new tyres. Agreed the price with Service Manager and the new tyres were fitted.The car was returned and had been throughly cleaned inside and out. This was the first time I had used this pick up and return option. Was most impressed and will select this option next time my car requires it’s service and MOT.

Replacement part was conveniently fitted while I waited in no more than an hour.


The staff were polite and very courteous. The waiting time was too long(2.5hrs and still wasn’t cleaned) they did take the money off to allow me to get it cleaned near where I live. I know now that there is a collection service FOC which would’ve been nice to know beforehand.

There was clearly an issue the first time the car went into the garage because the symptoms were the same, why wasn't the issue resolved correctly in the first instance.


When I booked car for service I told them about grab handle being broken, they said they would order one. It wasn't done as they hadn't ordered it. Booked another appt for it to be done along with brakes. They said handle was replaced but it wasn't . We rang them and are still waiting for them to ring to make new appt. The grab handle is important as my husband is disabled and needs to use it. I'm not happy that I have to take car back again. It's really good inconvenient

The night I was due to drive up to Halifax, then on to Catterick the following day, my car wouldn't move. Green Flag identified it was a rear brake issue but couldn't fix at the roadside. I arranged to have the car put on a breakdown truck and taken to Renault Wolverhampton first thing the following morning. Phone Dave first thing in the morning, he fitted the car in for repair and organised a courtesy car - result being I made it to Catterick in time for the planned event. I had the car for as long as it took to repair mine. Dave phoned to confirm the problem and cost of repair before proceeding and also notified me that the tread on the tyres was low, so went ahead and had them replaced as well. I always find the service from Renault Wolverhampton excellent. I have been going there for ca. 10 years and have never had any issues.

I was completely satisfied with the efficiency of the way the Renault wolverhampton fitted my car in when the wipers on my car stopped working. <br/>My only disappointment I have had with Renault is that I was told Renault no longer update the inbuilt satnavs. It may seem a minor issue but as this will become outdated. It was explained that this service is no longer undertaken since the problem when computers were hacked across the uk. This does not fill me with confidence in finding someone else to update the satnav system.


while I was there staff were complaining quite loudly about having to work and not being paid for it, one member of staff started crying infornt of customers because she had had to drive in poor weather and said other drivers were trying to 'kill her'. although my service was completed which I had to pay for, this caused a whole load of other problems which are ongoing. renault wolverhampton knew there was a time limit to this repair and have done nothing about it - I'm very disappointed and quite stressed regarding me buying this car and the apparent increase I will have to pay because of software damage done to my car while it was in the workshop

The total cost of the service and MOT was 3 times the estimate that I was given when I booked the car in. This tripling of the cost was legitimate as there were items that needed doing because of the age of the car, but this was not picked up at the time of the booking by booking staff, and in my view should have been so as to give me a more realistic estimate of the costs.

My only issue is when you have a courtesy car booked. The car is always 'somewhere' on the forecourt and is usually tightly parked. I think it should ready for the customer with easy access. The last car I had was very low on fuel so I had to stop on the way to work to put some in and the car I had previous to that there was no screenwash and one of the tyres was low on air. When I have a courtesy car I do expect it to be ready for customer use.

On arriving at the service department desk their was no one there to deal with the booking in of my car. There were people milling around in the back office and they knew I was there but ignored me. Had to find another person in the show room to find the service department staff. Once I was seen the process was straight forward and I felt confident that my car would be dealt with accordingly. Courtesy car already and waiting so no delays getting away and sorting my day. Car serviced and MOt'd as requested and call back from garage to arrange collection of the car was prompt and to time agreed on booking it in.


Time taken and amount charged were as stated by Renault beforehand.

On reporting at the dealership they was no one at the reception deck. After about 10 Minutes I found another staff member who agree to find someone to attend to me. A further 10 Minutes past before eventually someone came and checked my car in for its previously agreed service and MOT.<br/>I was not offered a courtesy car but was asked if I wished to wait for the work to be completed which I declined.<br/>I was then asked for my mobile phone number to which I replied that I didn’t have a mobile phone. I was made to feel uncomfortable when I was told the everyone has a mobile phone. It was implied that unless I had a mobile phone to work could not be carried out. Finally I supplied my home number with the promise that I would be contacted as soon as the work was completed.<br/>Later that day I arrived home some 4 hours after leaving the service station to find that no message have been left on my phone. After a further hour I telephone the garage and was told that my car was currently being worked on.<br/>Later on arriving at the service department, which was again devoid of any reception personnel, I waited for a few minutes before I was told that my vehicle would be ready in about five minutes. In the meantime I was invited to have a free drink from the vending machine.<br/>A little later still I was told my vehicle was now ready.<br/>The attendant was very polite and advised me regarding the depth of my brake pads and tyres tread while handing me the vehicle paperwork.<br/>Overall I was left feeling disappointed with the service that I had received.

Just one point when I booked my car in via the call centre which I understand is based elsewhere in the country they gave me a date and time and when I turned up at Renault Wolverhampton there was no record of my booking. Now this could have proved a real problem for me as I had booked the day off work especially to get my car fixed. However the man on reception at Renault Wolverhampton kindly managed to fit my car in and the work was carried out as planned. Well my visit made me ask why I bought a Renault. The Renault sat nav could not find the garage it kept taking me round in circles. And bringing a long way away. There were road works on the road I wanted so the sat nav did not help me at all it just kept taking me the wrong way. If I had known the area it would of helped but I nearly gave up. When I booked the car in for service I was given a time and told it would take about an hour and a half. so I decided to wait for the car. Why do you give times if they are not worked to. I was there nearly five hours. the sales staff all walked around with there heads down and never made any eye contact. The lady on reception was very good. When I did get my car back I was driving down the road and I got a message on my phone to ring the garage. I thought there was something wrong but when I did ring back they told they thought they had left something in my car but had since found it. After I had booked my car in about a week later somebody rang me up and asked why I had not booked the car in for service when I had why did they not know. I have a problem now as I bought a service plan where else can I go to get it fixed? I need options. My post code is CV11 6JW. I would prefer to go towards the south of here. Why did I buy this car? the car is not the problem for me it the network from where I live we learn by our mistakes.

I took my car for a service and for the drivers seat belt to be looked at as the inertia was not pulling the seat belt, causing it to get trapped in the door. <br/>When I picked the car up I was told that it had been repaired. This was not true. next morning I phoned the dealership 3 times and was told the service manger would call be back. 2 weeks later and I am still waiting.

Was encouraged to drop off my vehicle off at 8 so it would be one of the first done........5 hours later I got a call back about a problem so obviously had only just started the service. I usually use autoworld for my repairs/service and will be goin back there in the future.


When I arrived I was allowed to get a coffee and wait in the showroom until my car was ready. Then the person who took my keys told me the shops quite near were open at 9am so to kill time I went and a look. Very good of him to mention this. When I returned my car was ready. Only one thing they didn't clean the edge of the back doors. Other wise all was great.

I booked in my car for a service and to check the brakes. I was telephoned to say the service was complete, I asked about the brakes, was told they were 80% worn but no-one thought to tell me about this or replace. I asked they be replaced. This meant that the car was delivered back later than anticipated which was fine, BUT the driver said the paperwork etc would be sent in the post. The handbook (with the service history) was missing from the car when it was returned so I assumed this was with the desk and would be returned with the invoice. When I phoned a week later to ask where the handbook and invoice were, I was treated like someone who hadn't a clue what they were talking about but finally they said they would check about the handbook and call me back. This they did and they said "all sorted" so I asked if they had found it and they said yes. A handbook was then delivered to me, but it was not mine as it only had this service in and not last years. I am not impressed by the lie and assumption that I would believe it to be my handbook.

I keep receiving emails about having recently visited for a safety recall, but know nothing of this, how do I find out what it was about. Also my car has an instruction book with pages for stamping services, but I don't seem to have a separate book which details my service schedule, where can I get this from?

The first person I spoke to when I was looking for a newish car was Matt Phillips,and from start too finish I can say I was really impressed. He gave me a great part exchange for my old car and when I finally found the car I wanted someone else had beaten me to it,and although really disappointed,within 24 hour Matt had managed yo source the exact model, spec and colour I was looking for. The whole experience from the start went like clockwork. Would I recommend them? I was very satisfied with the attention I had from Matt Phillips. I told him I was a cash buyer straightaway,he advised me on service arrangements etc. I had rung and spoke to James the previous day and wanted to view a silver captur in stock. The car was ready for me to view the next day, I went on to look at the captur I eventually bought which I was a bit indecisive about at the time.Matt was very patient and helpful, in my opinion he gave me 1st class attention.

Very happy with the service received, everything was done over the phone. After sales has so far been good - a warning light came on less than 36 hours after taking delivery of the car - the sales rep i have been dealing with arranged for the car to be taking to the nearest renault garage for a diagnosis to be carried out - the result of which is that the oxygen sensor has failed. Arrangements have been made for the car to go back into the garage on 1 Dec for repair - i have been advised this will take between 4 - 5 hours has the complete exhaust system has to be removed and replaced.

The vehicle I purchased was a pre-registered vehicle sold at a competitive price, so I did not expect the same level of service as I would have, if I was buying a 'new' car. The salesperson provided a satisfactory service, however when we arrived home and looked around the car we found a dent above the wheel arch which must have been there when we collected the car. This was disappointing as I would have expected this to be identified and corrected prior to the vehicle being handed over to us. Hence the reason why we could not recommend you to a friend.I have not contacted yourselves as we did not see this fault until after we took possession of the car and assumed therefore Renault would not rectify the fault, were we correct in that assumption or would you consider repairing the dent?.

Collected the car, after 2 miles I returned to the dealership as the car had a banging noise. Said it would take a couple of hours. Had to book the car in and was given a courtesy car. It took 2 days for the job to be done. On collection I was not given an account of what work had been done. Just here's the keys the works been done from the receptionist.
