The car salesman was very friendly an answered all my questions about the car I was getting he took me for a test drive before I made my mind up weather to get this car an it went well I've got the car an it's so nice to drive plenty of head room an space is very good to the passenger I really enjoy driving it an they couldn't of been any nicer to me they were good with the car delivery date I got it before he said so I was happy about that because my other car was hurting my neck every time I was getti g in an out as in February I had 3 discs took out from my neck so I needed to change cars because of the head room I found the Kadjar was right for me an it has helped me a lot with comfort

I was satisfied with every part of he purchase and delivery of my new vehicle. The salesman, Michael Goulding was able to answer all my questions and provided an excellent service.


I really wanted a white Clio with the diamond cut 16" black wheels which were an option for £200 extra. I was not made aware of this choice even though I asked about the different wheels prior to purchase. After reading the brochure following my order I found out about the options. I contacted the dealer requesting the wheels I desired and was met with a responce from the manager which made me feel I was being backed into a corner in a manner in which I felt... well, bullied into my initial choice. It just soured the experience in buying a new car. I'm sure the manager didn't mean to come across as he did, but regardless, it was an unfortunate disappointment. However, I do love my Clio!!

Would like to mention Michael Goulding, he was great dealing with my purchase. I bought my previous car from Renault and it was Michael who handled that sale so I was very pleased to see Michael and purchase another new car from him.

After a disappointing experience with a local Ford Dealer who seemed very disinterested in offering me a car, I approached Wirral Renault. From the moment we entered the showroom, we were greeted courteously and made to feel welcome, like our business was appreciated. Through every step of the decision process, purchase and handover and subsequent queries, the saleman, Mr Goulding was extremely professional yet friendly and made me feel like I had made the right choice in choosing Renault on this occasion and more likely that my next car will also be a Renault.


Both Adam and Ryan took care of us and delivered a very high sales service over and above our expectation.


This is not the closest dealership to where I live but I would have no hesitation in returning again in the future. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, with Adam being especially helpful.

Wirral Prenton has more of a family run feel about it the staff wear casual but smart uniforms and there are none of the brylcreamed shiny suit brigade of salesmen! The staff are all very friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are and the purchase of my new Renault Captur went like clockwork I would recommend them to anyone!!!


I was very impressed with the service I received - the sales adviser Mike Goulding was absolutely excellent. He answered all my questions and explained fully all the features of the car. I felt very confident in purchasing a car from him, and I am really pleased with my new Renault Captur. Overall the experience was ok but frustrating getting multiple calls on the same day from different sales persons asking me to come in and fill in finance paperwork and when i arrive not being ready to process the paper work. this involved 2 round trips of 40 miles each for no reason.

A fantastic team at Prenton! Excellent service from the beginning enquiries to handover of car. There is a great atmosphere, starting at the front desk with Anita and others, through to sales (with Steve Kenton) and handover with Ryan. I feel that should there be any problems they will be sorted efficiently and in a friendly manner. I have owned a Renault for at least 14years changing every couple of years I called my usual dealer and was totally unimpressed but remembered a colleague had had a very good experience with Mike at Renault Prenton and although this is not my nearest Renault dealer, I called and I am delighted as I will recommend Prenton branch and particularly Mike to all my friends. I bought my car last year and was told that I would get the first service free, however when I booked car in for MOT and service I was told there was no service plan on this vehicle. I emailed the salesperson asking for him to sort out but never received a reply


I took my car in 4 a service it took me about 15mins to some paper work an get my courticy car very satisfied with the service provided iv recommended my nephew to get his mobility car from renault

The brakes still squeak and the tyre pressure light continued to go off, took car to tyre specialist only to find a pin stuck in inside side wall. Surely the pin should have been detected if work carried out thoroughly and also would have been noticed if brakes had been cleaned as told they had. I’m not happy that I will need to book in a third time. In addition Rlink often doesn’t work in tunnel and is a poorer quality than the basic model in my old car. This survey will not allow me to enter the score I wish to submit for a few answers and would only respond if a favourable score was entered!

Each time I have had to put a car in for service/repair I have been treated from start to finish with respect from all levels of staff. I have gone back to Renault several times to get a new car for several reasons. Firstly the high spec of the car and that they are able to meet all the needs that I require and secondly the staff and the experience and knowledge they each have within their field. I particularly liked the video link that was sent to me taking me through the aspects of the service and explaining what had been done and what was found. Once again a job well done.

Fine in general, but my initial appointment was mo ed and my courtesy car was not automatic. Hence my 9 not 10.


Anita at reception was very helpful, as was the other receptionist, and kept me informed on the progress of the service and the fault with the reversing camera.

I had to spend more time and money to get my car cleaned, this was a result of it being very poorly cleaned at the dealer. They had left smears all over the dashboard and door panels, it looked like the bodywork had been covered in traffic film remover and simply just rinsed with a pressure washer, no sponge had been used, the bodywork and windows were in an appalling mess after this so called wash. I WOULD SUGGEST, if you can not wash it properly, then do not wash it at all.


Checking my car in was easy and the lady was friendly and polite, she arranged for me to be taken home and phoned when the work was completed and sent a car for me. The driver was friendly and competent, on arrival I picked my key up and the car was waiting for me outside the showroom. No complaints at all.

I opted to wait for service to be carried out, the free Wi-fi was not working as has happened previously , they apparently have problems with it themselves! Waiting area not the best since it has been moved. Drinks machine available which is a good thing. Staff very helpful and friendly.

I was personally happy with the way I was treated and have been in the past.


Nearly 2 weeks after the service I opened the bonnet to add washer fluid. To my surprise a large spanner and torch was resting in the engine bay. I will be calling the garage to ensure this hasn’t damaged my vehicle.

Can't be bad as I have kept returning for the past twelve plus years.


I mentioned some problems with fuel consumption,gearbox lag and turbo lag, on returnthey said they could not find any problems but the fuel consumption is still below what has been for the previous 20 months .

My experience was overall very positive. My only issue was that I requested a while you wait service on the renault website and was given the time of 12pm to drop my car off. When I dropped the car off I was told that the engineers were on lunch from 12.30-1.30pm. I just felt like the booking of the appointment wasn't very well managed considering my request but the staff on the reception desk were both lovely and said they would get it done as soon as possible for me.

The service manager actually collects my vehicle as he lives nearby. This service is excellent, flexible and causes me no disruption, saving me time.<br/>The arrangement of a service/maintenance is so straight forward, making the whole experience excellent. Follow up and any communication is always good.


It feels a little to casual. This is just an observation not and wasn't a problem as such, in many service environments it would have been perfect. For me personally with the kind of money and life decisions being made I would like it to feel a little more professional. Ie communication to customers and amongst staff. All doing a great job.


it was all that was expected


I booked in for a lunchtime service at 1pm . I am community nurse so rely on my car for work. I was told prior to booking in that the service would be an hour if I took the wait whilst service option yet my car was not ready until close to 3.30 and when I chased it up around 2.30 I was told it was having a quick wash and vac. I waited by reception and expressed the urgency for my vehicle as I had patients to visit. 45 minutes or so later I was advised to meet round the side of the garage and my car was returned, washed, not dried or vac'd and I was told there wasnt enough time. <br/>I was not told what work had been completed or when my next service would be due.


Nice enough dealership to bring my car into the visor sent about the condition of my car was much appreciated and a nice touch however I was annoyed that my car seemed to be rushed as they only opened from 9–12:30 on a Saturday and the valet didn’t clean the car properly and left me with out a mat in my front passenger footwell and when I asked for tyres to be switched round the response was that will involve re setting the tyre pressure sensor which can’t be that hard for skilled mechanics but as id asked for my software on the car to be updated so my iPhone could pair up this seemed to be all they were willing to help with that and putting a new battery in my key.<br/>I’d go back there as they know what they are doing however id only go back there if it was convenient for me not because it was a flawless service


Excellent service and staff members polite and informative


The waiting area was very cold. No heating at all. My car was hoovered and that was it. They hadn't cleaned inside or outside. As I was driving away you could still see the dirt on the rear screen and the front screen. Had to take it to a car wash to clean it again. Not impressed at all with the valet services if thats how they leave all the cars. I wonder if its because i sat and waited and they were cutting corners.

My car is only 8 months old and still under warranty. I had a problem with the car not always starting first time and also the radio. The radio was rebooted/upgraded and a part was ordered to sort out my petrol/oxygen issue. the radio got worse - bursting on without warning so when i took it back to have the part fitted it was reset again. So far so good with the radio but my car still does not start first time sometimes and i can sit in it for ages waiting for it to start up. I need to take it back again but I'm having trouble finding the time.


I think that my answers to your questionnaire say it all. No further comments from me are necessary. I have been using Renault Wirral for 20 years or more. That should add something to the questionnaire. D.A.Jones.


Really pleased. Lovely staff. Great service. It’s a shame Renault Wirral no longer have a body shop though as a few months ago I required One for my car and had to find another garage it was very inconvenient.

Handing the keys to a smiling Lisa,prompt lift home,followed by pick up and return to Renault to collect keys from a still smiling Lisa....what's not to like?


at a regular service a few months back, I did not need new brake pads but it was suggested I pop the car back in December so the brakes could be re-checked. I was offered 8.30am or 1pm for a 'while-you-wait' appointment, chose the latter and was out with new brake pads (with my agreement) having had a couple of coffees. Excellent.

A WELCOMING EXPERIENCE WITH PLEASANT STAFF


The only problems that concerned me was when I first picked my car up, the replacement part had not arrived and therefore not been fitted. I was not informed of this prior to picking my car up and it would have saved me a lot of trouble as I had to bring the car back the next day for the work to be done.<br/><br/>I also found a packet of cigarettes on the floor of my car. We do not smoke and I would be very annoyed if the mechanics who fixed my car smoked in or around it whilst they carried out their work.


There were only 2 very slight problems & that was<br/>1... the parking is bad for even the smallest of cars<br/>2... It wasn't explained that the brake fluid & pollen filters were changed (which was great) & I struggled to work out what the items were on the invoice as they were codes<br/>Otherwise the service & staff are superb as always<br/>Thanks

Everything was fine. The technician was a bit distant from the microphone when making the little video of the underside of the car. If you could get a Hollywood camera crew in to do it next time that would be better!

The staff are warm, gracious ans courteous. They were extremely helpful in trying to resolve the aircon problem and the small issue of the window washer tank cap.


Service was excellent. However the car had been on the motorway in heavy rain and was quite dirty. It was jet washed by Renault but patches of dirt were left on the lower part of the car.


Only minor complaint is how difficult it is to park when droping off car - I am really worried about pranging someone else's car as the bays are so small and sometime people have double parked. Otherwise I am very satisfied - staff are very friendly and obliging.

My vehicle was delivered as I live in Watford so alot of those questions don't apply. During the purchasing process everything went well, Sean was really nice and we built a good rapport, however since receiving the car I have found the aftersales service to be lacking, I've expressed this to Sean already. I called in the first few days of receiving the vehicle as there were some issues (still outstanding). There is a "check brake light" warning on the dash, not picked up during your checks, and the car also lacks Bluetooth which I was told it had. When I called about this for the first time Sean was away so I was told carl the manager would call me back, I called three times that day and heard nothing from carl. A weekend past so I tried again and spoke to Sean, sent him emails with images etc, again I was left to chase up three emails and a phone call. There is no pro activeness at all, unless I keep chasing, nothing happens, maybe they are hoping I'll just go away. I also have not received my log book two weeks later. At the moment I'm still waiting to hear back how I'm going to be compensated for the bluetooth being misold, it suppose I'll have to call numerous times to get an answer to this too.

We feel the salesperson misled us over the car tax... we asked on a couple of occasions and were assured each time that the annual tax would be £30, however it is £115. This was a factor in choosing a captur which the salesman knew. We were also misled about the radio not having DAB. I now don't feel that I could trust this dealer to provide the correct information in future.

I travelled from the south coast to purchase the vehicle, did not need finance and had already test driven the model, and would not need to see the after sales team. I wish to feed back that Garry Marsden who I dealt with was exceptional from start to finish, professional, courteous but above all real which to me is what I look for, I hate falseness. Having just started up my business I have had numerous problems with companies not doing what they say, misleading you and processes very complex but not with this purchase. I would also like to mention the young man who dealt with me when I collected the van on 15-04-17 Ryan ( I believe he is a trainee), he is a credit to the business and has a great future, he was pleasant, helpful and most of all had a smile on his face that was genuine. I hope you can feed this back to both Garry & Ryan, an excellent experience

This is a direct quote from the My Renault handover documents ' Your vehicle is covered by a warranty package for up to 4 years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first). The first 2 years are unlimited mileage followed by a further 2 years up to 100,000 miles. Your dealer is able to replace, without charge, parts that are found to have a material or assembly defect that is recognised by Renault'. My warranty start date is 07.12.2016 the date of first registration. Will you please explain why your company Renault Retail Group has only provided a written warranty for 3 years and 60013 miles up to 06.12. 2019? To whom am I expected to turn under the terms of the Renault Manufacturers Warranty should I need to in the 4th year if you are not prepared to honour what is clearly detailed by Renault themselves? I require please a written explanation failing which I shall write direct to Renault.

I have attempted to contact Sean a number of times after the sale has been done asking where/why we weren't given a second key and also after searching the car not having a service history? I have tried ask where these are and have had no response. Prior to this I had a lot of problem regarding waiting for the car as we were waiting for the number plates to be swapped. However after I questions why this hasn't been done before or whilst Renault were in possession the car Sean hold me "we are just lazy" I haven't been happy with the service I have received, I am happy with the car but I feel I have had no care from Renault. two observations which suggest quality assurance on pre handover of vehicles would stand a look at 1-vehicle had little or no fuel as I started up to drive away.the salesman followed me to the nearest petrol station to obtain fuel(in fairness to him ) 2-on start up the next day the battery low light came on indicating the car battery had not been adequately charged(or checked)

Yes, the Renault drivers manual needs to give more detail about the electronic diff control. Karl explained it, but you don't take it in and the manual does not explain it. I know centre position is Auto, The right position is poor road surface (grip). I tried the left position EXP which I believe is off, but no sooner that you move off the light changes back to the centre Auto mode? It's not Karl who is at fault, the manual is lacking on info. This is our 5th vehicle bought from Renault Wirral. I was not very satisfied on the hand over of my new car. We would like to say we are very pleased with the car BUT very disappointed that there is no CD player. We are 70+ and do not have lots of mod cons ! ! So now we have loads of CD's we cannot play on long journeys. Why is there no player in a new car ?????????

The person I dealt with was Karl Reynolds. Karl was aware that I had purchased the same car from you in October 2015 for my daughter and was therefore aware I would not require a test drive. Karl was also aware I did not require finance for this vehicle and as I live 50 miles from the depot it would be unlikely I would use your after sales service. The handover of the vehicle was very straight forward without any pressure sales which is why I came back to you to purchase this vehicle

I found the sales team very helpful and courteous. I paid cash for the vehicle's did not require credit. The day after I picked the car up it was in a RTA. I requested that the car go to Renault Wirral for assessment of damage. The staff were very supportive. The car was subsequently written off. I am purchasing a replacement from them

Although I was made aware of marks from the previous owner it was only after removing the polish of the car by cleaning the car where it can apparent that there was chips on the body work and a poor attempt at polishing down the scratches on the front bumper & the valeter did a poor job when collecting the car. I am chasing up with Renault Wirral if these scratches have been noted cause when it comes to giving the car back I am not getting the blame for these marks + according to the salesman the car was serviced prior to collection however there is no stamp in the log book.

Salesman very genuine and courteous but not too pushy or over familiar as in some other garages. He was aware of his limitations in his knowledge of the car and apologetic about it but did seek help rather than blag it or make a mistake! Did notice that the computer system in the showroom seems to run very slowly which lead to some salesman frustrations. Staff all very helpful when I came in unannounced to recharge my car recently and even ran me home whilst the vehicle on charge. Much appreciated.

It's a worst purchase I ever made in my whole life, ridiculous service. To get reply from Sales Executive I need to chase minimum 10 to 15 times, totally bluffed me in car and transportation costs. They never stood on agreed price.

The whole procedure was conducted very professionally but also in a very friendly manner, which was much appreciated. We decided to purchase some mats but could not think at the time of anything else that we might need. We now realise that it would be a good idea to buy some mudflaps as we tow a caravan and know from experience that it gets very dirty from mud thrown up from the rear wheels of the car. That will be our next purchase.

All in all my experience of buying a car from you was not great. I travelled across from Northern Ireland , trading my car in for the Renault that I was told was in immaculate condition over the phone. The car has quite large stone chips on the front bumper that your sales man had obviously covered with white paint of some description . Kevin Melay you sales man was the driver of the vehicle in question and the passenger door was damaged to which he agreed to fix once back in Northern Ireland. I purchased the car over 6 weeks ago and still i'm having to contact your office about this matter . He let me go ahead and book the car in for the repair as I sent him 2 estimates . The car was meant to be left in yesterday Monday 7th September and Kevin was meant to pay , he was well aware of this and has blantantly ignored me. Everytime I ring I am told he is on his day off. I am sick of ringing about this matter and your staff are lacking in customer care . On getting the car serviced today I have now been told it has a oil leak , I have made a bad choice in purchasing this car . I should have been told about the stone chips and the damage to the car door before making the trip across and I do also believe someone should have over seen the sale of this vehicle due to the the cover ups , and now im stuck with a car that needs repair that is only 1 year old.

"Little Sean" was very helpful.He knew we did not want finance or test drive so they were not offered.As we live 120 miles away aftersales was never an option. Sean gave us honest and appropiate guidance and gave us a thorough handover. (Tho as we already own a meganne cabriolet and Master Van we understood the controls.) We chose Cleo because of its exciting design and our experience of the quality of Renault vehicles. I have to say I was initially very disappointed with this sat nav as it would not take a seven character post code, which I realise is a Renault decision, but glad to say this has been resolved between Sean and the Manager and an update is been given to me. Unfortunately after having my car 10 days someone has reversed into the back of it, giving me cause to take my car back, this has also been dealt with very efficiently too.

DO YOU OFFER A 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE? Not offered finance or test drive due to already informing salesman I was a cash buyer and was purchasing with delivery due to being 200 miles away after just having knee surgery. This is the second survey I have completed regarding this purchase still awaiting feedback from the first. I would not recommend RRG to a friend due to the following facts. The pre purchase communication was very good, but after sales service was not and condition of vehicle did not match what was communicated in the videos sent to myself. Faults with vehicle. 1) Dash not lighting up. 2) Temp gauge faulty. 3) Number of small dents not listed on video requested. 4) Air-con requires topping up. 5) New mats included in price of vehicle not provided originally. 6) Puncher repair kit missing. Still waiting for one to be sent. Faults 1 and 2 where fixed by RRG Romford who provided an excellent service, but I was still required to take a day off to get the faults fixed. With this faults in mind I do wonder what over faults the vehicle has that has not been listed, I will have to put the vehicle into my local garage for peace of mind and at extra cost. When I contacted RRG Wirral regarding this faults was informed that what do I expect it is a used vehicle and the used mats where the ones he was told to put in. This the second car I have purchased from RRG in the last 6 months and took the risk of buying this unseen after the good service I got from RRG Orpington when purchasing my wife Grand Scenic. But I'm very disappointed with result this time.

The pre sale contact was very good. I had just had a knee operation and required a car urgently but was unable to view the vehicle or test drive I did inform the salesman I was a cash buyer. But I was very disappointed when the vehicle arrived with a number of faults which had not been mentioned or shown on the video I requested. The two main ones being the dash not lighting up correctly and the temp gauge being faulty as well as number of small dents and one tyre close to the legal limit. When I contacted the salesman I was informed what did I expect it was a used vehicle. I had also agreed new mats but only second hand ones where supplied. On the good points RRG Romford couldn't have been more helpful fixing the problems with the dash and temp gauge. But I do worry that if these two faults weren't fixed what else could be wrong with the vehicle? I will have to put it into an independent garage for peace of mind, at extra cost. Also I had to take a days leave to take the vehicle into Romford to have the repairs done. If you did a 30 day money back guarantee I would take it straight away? This the second car I have bought from the RRG in the last 6 months the first being for my wife and was happy with the service from the Orpington branch that I took the risk buying this vehicle unseen. The vehicle is also missing the puncher repair kit. On the whole I'm not happy with the vehicle and currently couldn't recommend RRG to a friend. I look forward to your reply. .
