Initial experience was not very good as car was ordered in March with an estimated delivery date was 26th May, to be then told a moth later there had been a delay with the salesman saying the delay was as a result of the extras I wanted added to my vehicle. Once the initial issues were resolved I received updates on the progress of the vehicle.

I find the car has too low an engine and seems sluggish. I was not told about other options. Also the nearside front door rattles when car goes over bumps. The front interior windscreen has definitely not been cleaned and is very smeared.

When I bought the car I stated what extras I wanted, I was not told about the other facilities that came with the car being a 'top of the range car', I was just told the model I would need and that was it. It would have been good to know the other 'extras' that came with it. Also on purchasing the car I was told they would know on the Monday/Tuesday of a week when the car would come on the Friday but when I kept ringing I got no return call (having thought they would have at least rang to tell me it was/n't coming that week. I phoned and left 3 messages! When I again rang to be told when the car would possibly come as I wanted to sell my old one, I again received no reply, only eventually getting through to the salesperson I found it had arrived the day before! After purchasing the car I was told to ring the Finance person or the person who showed me the car if I needed any help, I rang both but again had no return call! Then when I eventually got through to the Finance person who gave me a tel no to ring I was told that by paying off some money earlier, it would decrease my monthly payment which I was NOT told by the Finance person who I first spoke to at the garage, he just said I could pay off money as/when I liked and nothing more, I felt he could have told me this when we first spoke. Overall, I found the Customer Service terrible, you feel as if NO ONE is interested now they have sold you a car!

The purchase of my new car was excellent and Craig (in Swansea) did a great job in managing the process and keeping me informed during the whole purchase. I would definitely recommend Renault Swansea to friends and family. One issue that we did have was due to payment to myself from Renault as I used my old car for part exchange. There was a delay in getting the payment to me but not through Craig but the accounts team. I had given my details to Craig which he duly passed on but when they tried to make the payment to my bank they had transposed the last two digits and as a result this didn't go through. Once the issue came to light, Craig was concerned that the money hadn't gone through to my account so contacted me asap to get this rectified which he did. Only a few days delay in the process and one that was resolved as soon as it was realised with a very acceptable outcome and informed all the way

I was disappointed that as the car was booked in for a two year service that was covered on the plan I had been paying. I then received a call to say the car needed two new tyres and also brake pads and discs and the cost would be œ371. This was a very unexpected cost but felt there was no choice but to have the work done there and then as we had travelled 65 miles for the service. I was also not happy that the first year I had the car serviced we were offered a lift into Swansea itself, this year there was no offer and we were told where we could catch a bus. These two trips on the bus cost nearly œ20.

Totally impersonal service. Appointment was done through a call centre and I wasn't told I might be charged for the work. No one told me it might not be covered by the warranty. Also I wasn't believed that it was just an air conditioning service needed as it was too soon. I was charged œ70 and nothing has changed. Awaiting another visit. Staff were stressed and clearly struggling to cope with the demand. Really long wait for car. No courtesy car offered.

I am very happy with my own car. But am having difficulties with my daughters car purchased after ours. On the day she collected the car and drove home. She noticed the missing grab handle on the rear drivers side. Also one key fob was not working. She immediately returned to inform the garage. They apologised, and said they would order the part.She has the problem of only having weekends free. As she is working in Glangwilli hospital Carmarthen. She lives in Swansea, after many phone calls, and me calling in to explain. I was told they are open Saturday morning, and she was booked in for 8.30am. After taking the car in, she was told parts were not in, and it was an all day job. They can't supply her with a curtesy car until October. She would have to bring her car in by 8.30am, the time she starts work in hospital . She would not be back in time, before garage closes. We feel let down, that my daughter will lose a day's pay, and a day from her holidays needlessly. I have until now been satisfied with the service recieved. I purchased a car, my eldest daughter did. Also my youngest daughter,and her friend who after going to collect the car with her. Came back later in the afternoon to buy one. We have one big problem now. The part is now in, how is she going to get this solved?

I had recently placed an order for keys for my car. All that was needed to be done on my vehicle was Renault to programme those keys into my car. I dropped my car off at the garage first thing that morning it was booked in for and by 2pm i had a phone call to say it was ready to be picked up. Work was completed :). Also when i collected my car Renault had cleaned it, again very happy. Service from Renault 100%. Staff very helpful polite and always friendly.

The vehicle which was taken in for MOT was a mobility vehicle when asked about a collection I was told that there was none available when asked about a sit and wait service was advised that they had all gone as I am unable to walk my daughter had to drop the vehicle off and gat a bus home then had to take a bus to morriston and walk in the pouring rain to collect the vehicle I will never get another Renault on mobility again

Small oil leak discovered during the service but due to standard service time constraints could not be fixed at the time. As a result have had to book another date for the fault to be rectified. The tyre pressures were set wrongly. The correct pressures are shown on a sticker inside the door. The engineer ticked a box on the worksheet saying that the time for the next service will be shown on a sticker within the car, there is no sticker which makes me think has he just ticked the boxes without reading them or without auctioning them.?

Both young ladies in reception made me welcome and they were both really professional even when dealing with a really difficult couple that came in when I was there. Sadly the noise p/ clunk is still under the car and replacing the speaker hasn't solved the problem. They carried out an investigation into the noise but were unable to identify the problem, nothing they said was lose. Since my visit the noise is more prominent and I'm concerned so have booked in again. The people in Renault Swana are first class professionals and I'm sure my experience is just a hiccup they will clear up on my next visit.

I took my car for a service and MOT. I was offered the use of another vehicle or a lift to the shops. I declined as I had made other arrangements but I thought this was very accomodating. Whilst I was waiting for my car I was sent video footage of the health check being carried out and I was very impressed with the information given. When I went to collect the car it was brought to the door as it was raining so I would not get wet and it was cleaned inside and out. Vehicle booked in with Renault Swansea for routine annual service and MOT under Renault Service Plan agreement. Received phone call approx. 2 hours after vehicle had been dropped off to say that healthcare check after service had been carried out, had revealed problem with alternator belt and cover, rendering vehicle unsafe to drive. Due to the fitting of an incorrect item, or the incorrect fitting of that item, alternator belt said to be in contact with cover and causing damage to it. Furthermore, service shop unable to proceed with MOT, as vehicle not likely to stand up to strain imposed by emission tests, etc. Furthermore, if I wished to drive the vehicle away without repair of the above item by Renault, I would need to sign a disclaimer to that effect. In view of the fact that the vehicle had recently been with another garage to have the timing belt and water pump replaced, I elected to have that garage collect the vehicle from Renault for inspection and repair. Inspection of the alternator belt and cover by the second garage revealed; - a) no contact between alternator belt and cover; b)alternator belt displaced by one notch of belt on lower pulley, (correct positioning of belt on upper pulley). As a result, no likelihood of alternator belt becoming displaced, no rubbing on cover, and no likely hood of damage being caused to engine. Alternator belt replaced correctly on lower pulley; - no further corrective work required. Recontacted Renault to state that any problem had been remedied, and asking to rebook vehicle to carry out outstanding MOT. Informed that I could book in vehicle the following day, but no guarantee that the MOT would be carried out on either that, or the following day. Next free date offered for MOT was 22nd March, (after expiry of MOT). Vehicle hence taken to alternative garage, where it passed the MOT successfully the following day, (at additional cost on my part!). Any problem with alternator belt considered to have been exaggerated by Renault Swansea; - if I had left the vehicle for repair by them, I'm sure that it would have resulted in a considerable bill for replacement of the alternator belt, cover, pulleys; etc. As such the 'problem' with the alternator belt given by Renault Swansea, is considered to be nothing more than a 'try-on' to extract a considerable further payment from me, when only minor rectifying work, if any, was required. To say that I am dissatisfied with the way in which Renault Swansea has looked after my vehicle under my Service Agreement with them, is a major understatement!

ive been working away so i let my wife take the car into you where you claimed the car needed œ3,200 worth of repairs to make the car road worthy. having drove the car myself the week before i could not work this out so had an itemised bill off you and had my wife take the car to another garage as a precaution only to find out all the work that was needed to get the car MOT cost œ150 plus an extra œ40 pounds for a MOT so i cant see where you get your priceing from but i have a problem ive payed you œ130 pound for a service and an MOT and i have not had any off you. All i got for trusting you with my car and my family was a nasty phone call off one of your receptionist tell my wife that my car needed alot of work and it had a repair cost that matched the car being a write off on top of that having to go out of my way and find a second garage to pay for a second MOT to check the car over as it was such a state turned out to be a few parts and a couple of hundred pound to fix.Or and to top it off you never services my car which i payed for so i have been to the bank to cancel my direct debit to as i feel let down by renault swansea. I put my trust in you because i work away alot to look after my car and family and you took advantage of this as soon as my wife brought the car to your garage very disspointed with you. expected this from a small garage not renault. A little disappointed with the courtesy car initially given to us - it was too small! Scenic was out in for repair - twinge given ! The car dirty with take away papers in the car. It smelt of smoke. I purchased my dacia at Renault Swansea a year ago. I was served by Wayne Hilde. The service he gave was exceptional as I was very nervous about buying a new car. He dealt with everything for me and made the purchase as stress free as possible. I would certainly contact him again when I need to upgrade. The only issue I had was that I paid for a service plan when buying the car, but was told that I didn't have a service plan on the day. I paid for a service and then once I was able to check my documents, I had in fact paid for the plan. This had not been set up on purchase, but I had my money refunded so it worked out okay in the end

my car was in for mot and health check. the check was done and my windscreen wiper had a split. as a result the car failed the mot. at the time I was told about the failure after the mot and I told them to change it. However when I arrive home and checked my emails I received a video of the check up which mentioned the spit and I was advise to replace it before the mot. As I was waiting in Renault I was a bit annoyed that they could not tell me before hand. if I had known before hand I might have 'shopped around' for a cheaper price on the replacement wiper.

My car was serviced which is why my car was at the dealership. When i booked the appointment i was told to bring my car in at 10am. when i got to renault i was told there was a list of cars before me and my car wouldnt be ready until the earliest 1pm. I was told i would be called when my car was ready. At 5pm i still hadnt recieved a phone call and my days plans all had to be cancelled. I called renault and they said my car has been ready and waiting and someone should of called. While i agree yes someone should of called, no one did. Also if my car wasn't going to be seen at 10am why did i take my car in at that time? The car should be taken in at a time and then serviced shortly after and then returned after no longer than an hour. 7hours in the garage is ridiculous. I was also told my car would be cleaned inside, it had quickly been hovered and that was it.

These qualities is what sold me the car. I live in Cardiff and it would have been much easier for me to purchase from either Cardiff or Newport branches but the salespersons in both where not has professional. Wayne Hilde even sent me a full video of the car rather than just a picture which I asked for. This actually sealed the deal for me I hope he gets the credit he deserves. The price you had the car listed at was on lots of sites but i was told when i called that this was the wrong price so didn't start too good, but we did come to an agreement in the end,i must admit with the lack of communication after i had paid i did start to worry & panic as i thought i had been had by a scam up until the deliver driver arriving with the car so instead of excitment i was panicing, also i was sent no paperwork or confirmed if it was taxed i had to ring to confirm all of this, i was told there was no marks but the alloys are quite damaged & there is a very bad scratch as you open the back door it is down to the metal, the car was dirty inside too with sick maybe from a baby or child in the back seat, so that is some of the things i would suggest to change or improve on as it did spoil my purchase of my new car

There were a few nasty stone chips on the bonnet and i was told that they would be taken care of before we had the car yet when we picked it up the job they did was terrible, just a spot of paint off one of the pens which didnt even cover the bare metal. The least they could have done is supply a touch up pen but i wasnt even offered one. So as far as recommending you to anyone that is the reason iv said no

Head Office Concord Road Western Avenue London W3 0RZ Reference: Reg Number CP14 AVE I am contacting you in order to express my concerns and raise a formal complaint regarding my recently purchased vehicle not being as described. This happened on March 31st, 2017. To explain in more detail We saw the Kia Soul Reg Number CP14 AVE advertised on autotrader, we arranged a visit to view the car. We were sent a video of the car from Wayne Hilde, he even states in the video, that "As we look down the side of the car, there are not any dings or dents, or scuffing on the alloys" When we saw it, the car was in perfect condition without any scratches/dents. We subsequently purchased the car and Wayne Hilde arranged for the car to be delivered to us. When it did arrive, the car was damaged, also the inside of the car stank of sweaty bodies. We have contacted Wayne on several occasions, we have got quotes as he requested, at our time and expense, we got quoted £934.00 Plus VAT from FixAuto, Renault Swansea have refused to pay that, so once again we got another quote this was for £550.00 from ChipsAway. Renault Swansea have said the damage can be buffed out and that's what they would get their bodyshop to do! Wayne Hilde even called the ChipsAway repairman called Barron, to see if this was the cheapest option, he said it was as the damage was not just on the surface. The final straw was receiving an email from Wayne Hilde at Renault Swansea Offering a goodwill gesture of £250.00. This is not a goodwill gesture, it's an insult, and doesn't even cover the cost of repairing the damage, let alone a hire car as we will be losing the car for 2/3 days. We purchased a car for £10000. : was was delivered was damaged goods, instead of rectifying the problem by paying for the damage in full and compensating us for the stress and hassle, we receive an offer that leaves us out of pocket and with a bad taste in our mouths with Renault. We wanted the car to enjoy and all we have had is hassle and extreme stress, since the day we received it. We are embarrassed to show friends and family as we have received a damaged car. To resolve this issue I would like you to fix the damage that was done between us viewing/buying the car, and it being delivered. And while this is being fixed we require a hire car. We consider this a very serious issue which has caused us an unnecessary amount of aggravation and stress. We would like a response within 3 days with a view to resolving this issue within 7 days. If these timescales are not met, I will have no hesitation in escalating my complaint, to the The Motor Ombudsman. The car was for my daughter for her 17th birthday so it had to be right. My daughter is really happy with the car. I am still waiting on the second/spare key to be handed to me. I was told at the beginning in a phone conversation your sales executive Tom Gannon the service book was stamped at 7,500 miles by the main dealer (Citroen). This was not the case. The young guy David who actually did the handover on the Saturday I purchased the car as Tom Gannon was not in work was very good. I have emailed Tom Gannon for the second key with no response. Also Leigh McGrath has emailed Tom Gannon, still no response. The car is really nice and I would purchase a car from you again as my wife is looking to change her car in the next few months. I would certainly not deal with Tom Gannon again.

London west is just 2 miles from my home. I made an appointment with them and waited nearly 45 minutes and no one attended me. Then I came home and checked the Web site and found this car in Swansea which is 186 miles from my home. Since the inquiry of the car Wayne from Swansea provided me information with much commitment and from then onwards until I drove the car from Swansea I was treated really well and felt much accepted. Superb customer service by Wayne and what a difference comparing to London west. I feel it was worth driving nearly 400 miles up and down to get the car I wanted.

I have no real complaints about Neil Jones he is a very polite and professional salesman. I do however have a complaint and concern about how Renault handle their logistics there seems to be no actual information on location or a ETA with their vehicles. I myself have been involved in moving vehicles to new locations, and it didn't take 10 days to even bring a vehicle from Ireland so how a car takes 10 days to come from Bristol I just don't know I could've literally walked to Bristol and back from your showroom in less time. I hope this is something that is addressed by yourselves as I was very disappointed with this aspect of purchasing my car.

I have owned 3 Renaults previously so did not need a test drive, even if once was offered. Every courtesy was given to me whilst considering buying my car. Unfortunately, since the salesman has not returned a single call and having had a problem with a missing aerial needed to sort it. Spoke to his boss in the end who resolved the issue. Also sent my old log book with proof of posting and they seemed to lose it. They have obviously found it now as the DVLA confirmed transfer. My husband owns a Renault and uses the maintenance plan which I have signed up to. Unsure now whether this was a wise decision considering my treatment from the sales team.

When picking up the car, we noticed that the parcel shelf and the MOT certificate were missing. We informed the salesman, Thomas Gannon, of this and he said he would get us a parcel shelf and a replacement MOT certificate. Two months later, despite repeated phone calls, emails and a visit in person we still have not received either. Mr. Gannon always tells me he is dealing with it but it does not take 2 months to get a replacement MOT certificate and a parcel shelf. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service. When I last phoned him, he even tried backtracking on the parcel shelf and going down the "sold as seen" route. However, you can't use that argument after you have told the customer you will get one for them. I am still pursuing this matter.

Hi, initially I was pleased with the service I received from the sales personnel. However to date I have not received my car, 11 days after I placed my deposit. I have been in touch with Renault Swansea a number of times to enquire as to what is going on. I was informed that as I had ordered a two tone Arizona and black it had not been delivered and was still at Southhampton awaiting delivery to Swansea. I telephoned again on 24/5/16 but it was still not available. I understand this is not the sales teams fault but I am disappointed at the amount of time I have been waiting as it was advertised as available now on the Swansea website. I asked if it would be available for this weekend, but the sales person could not guarantee I would receive it. if it is not available for collection by the 28/5/16 I am considering asking for my deposit back, I do not wish to do this as I really like the vehicle and have eagerly been awaiting it.

I'm not sure whether I would recommend the dealership or not. Whilst I believe effort was made to please me as a customer, I think the systems in place do not promote this. Both times I had to visit the dealership post purchase I was kept waiting for an unacceptable length of time. I believe this was because of the lack of coordination between the sales, service, valeting teams and external paint repair specialists. For example, arranging a 0930hrs appointment but not getting the car looked at until 1150hrs is not good customer service. I can't remember if I was offered finance or not. I made it clear to Tristan very early on that I would be buying the car outright. I found Tristan knowledgeable, personable and helpful. Katrina (sp?) on the reception desk was also helpful and she actually took responsibility in finding out what the situation was when I told her how long I'd been waiting. I am very pleased with the car but there were some issues on collection. The "eco" button on the centre console was inoperative. I only found this out whilst on the motorway heading home. Thankfully I managed to sort this out myself without another trip to Swansea. The switch had been forced and was jammed in. I reseated the switch and it became responsive. The worse issue was bad scratching on the roof of the car. I couldn't see this during inspection on collection as it was centrally placed on the roof and not visible. This was evidently caused by the magnetically mounted placards you place on the top of cars. An insane policy in my opinion. This has now been sorted thanks to Tristan and Dean. I found the amount of financial nannying, warning and box ticking quite overbearing too. I have bought new cars from other manufacturers and don't remember it being quite so heavy. Especially since I was buying the car outright and not taking finance. Finally the G3 protection I received as compensation for wasting the morning at the dealership during the initial paint repair was also not the best experience. I was delayed again and the final result does not look convincing. Only time will tell if it resists dirt and aids cleaning but the amount of smears and marks on the paintwork was disappointing. I can't imagine what kind of process leaves the kind of marks I witnessed. I have taken photos of the marks for my records. I am happy to be contacted to discuss this further.

I was most impressed by Tristan the sales person who kindly agreed to help me resolve a problem where my ban initially blocked a debit card payment. Tristan offered me the option of coming back on a different day to collect the car or he was willing to work late to enable me to contact the bank and resolve the payment issue. I recently purchased my new car with you and I was not happy with the overall service that I was given. I had a Clio previously on the renault options finance and I came in as it was coming to the end of my agreement and I wanted to get another new clio. Initially I was dealing with Rene, whom I discussed everything I wanted for a 65 plate Clio including a monthly price etc etc. He said that this was all ordered and I would come back later on to sign all the finance. About 2 weeks later I had a phone call from you saying that Paul was off sick and someone else was taking over the sale of my car. I was fine with this and just assumed Rene was Paul. A few days after this, I was called again and asked what monthly payment had been agreed and they said they did not know how that figure had been agreed as they couldn't get it that low. They said they would look into it and call me back. I didn't hear back for a few days so headed into Renault myself. I chatted with someone else and they said what 'Paul' had done was taken my car as a deposit and not that I was returning it under the agreement so my monthly payment would actually be a lot more. I was not at all happy with this especially as the man who initially dealt with my sale was sitting across the forecourt I said that it was him I had been dealing with but everyone kept saying I had dealt with Paul. I then spoke to Tristan who had some 15 plate clios available, I found him to be great and he couldn't do enough for me. I eventually decided on the car and everything was then sorted and I signed for the finance etc. We then agreed when I would pick the car up, when I arrived to pick the car up, Tristan said that it wasn't ready and he thought I was coming in on the Saturday, a day I never agreed to as I knew I was going away. I had also changed my car insurance over so I was not at all happy by this especially after all the hassle I had been through before. When I did pick the car up, Tristan was great and I received a bottle of wine, mats and a full tank of diesel which I was very grateful for. Overall I'm really happy with the car and have always loved a Clio but I just was not happy with the overall customer service I received.

I have taken out both your 3year servicing & 3year extended warranty plans, but as yet have not received any other confirmation than the receipts of purchase. I understand that a booklet detailing fully the terms of Warranty will be sent. Regarding the service plan, I presume a detailed service schedule will also be sent. Finally I have changed the initial registration number to my personal number plate of A16KRL which I should like to appear on both the service plan & extended warranty plans. The pre-registration given by Renault was KD15ZFM.

Who do i need to talk to about what apears to be a problem with many Clio owners. The Medianav is not performing at its best. i.e. 1) Bluetooth phone conection keeps disconecting after a few minutes. 2) Unable to enter a full postcode on the Navigation, I understand that there is an upgrade I can purchase (european maps) that will upgrade the post code. However as I do not want European maps as i do not intend to travel abroad, therefore I am stuck with a partial navigation system. The rest of the car is fantastic and I am please with my purchase.

As lived some distance away, not possible and had already driven same model locally so was aware of performance. Would have preferred the trade-in price to have been agreed with me before I was presented with all the paperwork on arrival. Appreciate my being some distance away was a complication, but having been told the vehicle needed to be seen first I was not really happy being presented with a fait accomplis.

Originally I dealt with a Scottish guy Darren who was very polite and discussed figures on the car I purchased. The following day Darren was off work so I dealt with Tristan who was very unprofessional and made inappropriate sexual comments which made me feel uncomfortable. I felt he acted in this manor as I was am a young woman. Tristan spoke with his boss and confirmed the figure that Darren quoted and also shuck hands. I returned later that day and Tristan and the manager kept changing the price and trying to increase the amount even though I'd taken out a loan through work for the amount quoted by Darren. They made me feel very umcomfortable. The over all experience was horrific I felt really distraught leaving the office, where as I should have been excited about the car. The only reason why I put the deposit down with Tristan was due to the fact I really wanted the car. Finally I had the car for the price Darren quoted and Darren closed the deal the next day! Darren was so nice, apologetic and reassured me I could go see him for any more help.

A very disappointing and frustrating car buying experience all initiated from the wrong car being delivered from the compound! This was made worse when the car was sprayed by a Renault approved body shop. To say the work was ameratish would be a massive understatement! Several time I considered walking away due to the stress and appalling quality control I witnessed over purchasing this vehicle. A different car was eventually offered and Renault offered to pay for the paint protection. Unfortunately even though the outcome was eventually ok the whole experience was not and so I cannot in good faith recommend buying a Renault. I hope that eventually my experience with this new car will enable me to convert to Renault but it certainly isn't there at the moment!

Having had the car almost a week, I am a little disappointed in discovering an intermittent fault with the abs steering sensor and having to wait a week before this can be addressed. Having baby to carry in my car I both want and need my vehicle to be safe for her and my family. I feel this questionnaire in no way reflects the actual customer service experience had.
