Some communication issues regarding the Easy Life Servicing contract. Apparently their one click option for the contract to be emailed to me didn't work.

I was initially contacted by Salesman Sean who was very patient and thorough with giving me relevant information that helped me to decide on which car to get. Three months later salesman Justin Davies handled the sales process which was smoothly done. He was also patient, informative, and very good at what he does. All good saw the same car slightly cheaper on line but I'd always buy local for better customer service. Ps I love the car

From the moment I entered the showroom Justin was very attentive and listened to what it was I wanted out of my next vehicle. He was very personable and easy to talk to. I have purchased a Renault for my wife from the Renault garage in Swansea since about 1980. That statement speaks for itself.


This is my second new Renault vehicle and I am very happy with the product, however the after sales service could be better. I appreciate it is less than a month since I took delivery but I am not convinced that I will have a call to check if I am satisfied. I presume that this why I am completing this questionnaire with no further communication.


Richard listened to what I needed from the car and gave me options. He was always very efficient, professional and guided me through the process without being pushy. He kept me informed every step of the way. He is a credit to your organisation.


Fine except we were offered to take out the service monthly plan which I accepted forgetting that 2 years free servicing was included in the purchase, surely this should not have been offered. I have asked for this to be cancelled hopefully this will be done promptly and no monies taken from my account.

Insight, so I Also pre pay service plan which was good, so did not have to pay on the day, saved a little there great...<br/>Yes overall very happy and straight forward..., thanks RS megane 275 nav....<br/>+ taken it to Renault for piece of mind and correct oil grades etc parts. Car still under warranty etc...

I was given a full breakdown of all the work carried out and further recall information on the vehicle I own. I was kept fully informed on the progress of the work being carried out.

Aside from canceling and moving appointment without my knowledge, I was quoted £73 and charged £102... couldn’t tell me what the extra £30 was for and said they don’t do services for £73. I had an email quote with that price and showed it the lady but she said no that’s an estimate (my car is electric) But couldn’t explain why that’s the price I was estimated and wouldn’t be anywhere near the price I’d pay. She also at first tried to charge me £179 which was for a service on a petrol or diesel car.


First service on my Captur booked in for specific day. Took car in for 8:15am as arranged not ready to be collected until nearly 5pm. Was told when I queried length of time that 43 cars had come in that day but surely precooked cars should get priority rather than owners calling in by chance!<br/>I would also point out that after buying a brand new car last March (2017) for cash I never received a courtesy call following the purchase! <br/>I also requested the service plan to be added to the price as a one of payment but on my service visit I was told that this had never been done! Both my sons where with me at the time of purchase and can confirm this was the case! I had their support as I had been involved in an accident in which my Land Rover Freelander was written off and I was still in a state of shock! I was most perturbed that our instructions had not been complied with<br/>Hence my concerns expressed in this survey

Took car in on wed 19th for a diagnosis of clutch judder they rang me on the 21st to say they are changing the clutch and flywheel had a call thurs to say car ready called in fri 23rd car had very little pedal and judder still there so left car with them no more contact so i rang on 29th to ask if any progress they said car done i should have had a call but didnt they were waiting for test drive and would ring me back they didnt ! Rang again on sat they said its ready they had put the wrong flywheel on when i picked it up it seemed ok was a bit dissappointed when i looked through my dash cam footage the conversation between the mechanics was awfull one said to the other its worse now than wen it first came in did we fit a shitty refurbished clutch and the other guy said its got a f***ing towbar on it its only a 1.2 the towbar is for my cycle rack awful thing to say i spoke to the service manager he appologised and told me to call in when im passing he will put some petrol in my car as a gesture of good will its the first new car we have ever had and wont be buying another renault thats for sure we have had renaults fir tge last 12 yrs

The battery needed changing,but you don't carry enough stock. The car had to be left overnight which was very inconvenient. However, the vehicle was returned promptly the following morning. I am always happy to deal with the Swansea garage and its staff.

On this occasion servuce sheet some items had not bern ticked.<br/>On last years service 2017 i drove my vehicle from them only for my cars brakes to fail, the car had been serviced and rhe brake fluid had not been refilled and cap had not been placed on.this year i was reluctant to put my car in there again only for it to be returned to me with the section on service sheet to do with brakes not ticked. I was asked to take vehicle back in at 5.10pm that day.i have yet to take the vehicle back. I wrote a letter to MD of renault last year and have yet to get a reply, hence my not giving over 8 in my score as i feel Renaukt do not listen to their customers. Again i am rekucatant to purchase another vehicle from Renault. But i would like yo say the staff at the receotion desk and complaints i would score 10. But i feel that Renault managers need to be aware of what happened to me last year and at least i should have received an apology in writing (i did get free brake pads and discs put on last year only to be asked this year who fitted them ??"as they were not fitted by us"at this point i had to reiterate what happened in 2017 of which was quite traumatic travelling 60mph with no brakes 5 mins after car leaving the service. Excellent service, but service takes too long, I took car to dealer at 9am and not ready for collection until 4 10pm by which time I did'nt have transport back to garage so had to leave overnight until I could arrange transport. I did mention when I dropped car off I would'nt have transport after 3.30pm

I bought the car brand new in 2016. I’ve had 2 services since and I’ve found the staff very helpful and their customer service is excellent.


My only negative comment would concern the complete lack of parking at the dealership. The whole place appears to be constantly packed with vehicles. Always concerned that my vehicle might be damaged in the very crowded, packed, parking area.

As I have had 3 faults in the first 12 months with the vehicle, it is frustrating that no courtesy vehicle is ever available, each time I have had to be without a replacement car whilst mine is in for repair

Really happy with the service. Reported an issue with wind noise from drivers door. This could not be detected but since having the car back it is still present. In fairness, I was told to take the vehicle back if it was present to allow technician to test drive with me but due to other commitments I haven't been able to return. I am completely satisfied with the service and the communication during the service. However, I pay monthly for my yearly services. Shortly after having my service I received an email advertising for a service wih Renault. The advert claimed that following the service your car would be valeted. My car was not cleaned on the outside or inside upon receiving it back. Why is it that customers who decide on a service as a one off are treated better than those showing loyalty to Renault and paying monthly for their yearly service? It seems very unfair. I would be better off just paying for a service as a one off!


The service from the customer service girls were second to none, but I was very unhappy with the fact that an MOT had been given to my car when the horn wasn’t working which I do believe is one of the things needed to be working to give an MOT , which leads me to the question was the service and MOT carried out properly , or have things been missed ???

Customer service was excellent including providing a video of how to change the light of the dashboard which I wasn't aware of. The only problem I had is that the box was ticked to suggest the windscreen washer had been checked and refilled. I was aware I needed to refill it before the service and it was not done during the service. This in itself isn't the problem, my concern would be what else has been ticked as being done but hasn't been.


My car was booked in for a routine service and reverse camera repair . However on collection of the vehicle i was told there was nothing wrong with the camera even though i reported it to be dark even though I have adjusted the brightness and the sensor not working to tell you when you're getting too close to something. The lady on reception was very nice and obviously just told me what the mechanic had put in his report which was, the switch for the sensor was switched off and she explained where this switch was located and the brightness had been adjusted which i have done myself. I accepted this even though i was slightly confused as to how the sensor had been switched off but i thought i may have caught it by accident and not realised. However on using my reverse camera the following day the problem is exactly the same as it was before i took it in. There is no switch located where i was told its just a blanking switch so this could not have been used to switch off the sensors and they are working intermittently, the camera is still dark and flickering exactly as i reported before taking it in. I have not returned the vehicle to the dealer as i live nearly an hour away and i am a foster carer so i need my car all the time and this is why i needed the problem resolved at the same time as the service so i will just have to live with the problem for the time being although this is obviously not ideal. My car was also not cleaned to anything like the standard it was last time so on this occasion I have been left feeling very disappointed.


Rachel was extremely welcoming and friendly. She provided a courtesy call the day before to confirm my attendance and the availability of a courtesy car. The following day upon collecting my car she also helped give me advice on setting up a payment plan for a mot/service.<br/><br/>I did miss having a video of my car breaks being checked as that was a novel touch when I had my service last year.

The only thing I was a little puzzled about was that my car had its first MOT with Renault in November2018, and being serviced at the beginning of February needed new front brake discs and pads. There was no warning at the MOT examination. Do they really wear out so suddenly? My usage had not changed. No complaint, just vaguely puzzled.


The scoring is nothing bad to the receptionist staff, they were doing their job as instructed. Rachel in particular was very friendly and helpful in explaining my service and giving me the correct requirements and information I need to go further.


The whole team were fantastic and resolved the issue that was unidentified by other garages.

When we bought the car my husband didn't appreciate being told that he had to score high on the satisfaction score otherwise the sales person would fail their probation. Didn't really appreciate the video that was sent as it didn't tell us anything. When I got there they did not have a car ready for me, as I needed a courtesy car for work while they looked at my car. I had booked this in three weeks prior to the date so that they could give me a car. The car they were going to give me they then couldn’t as one of the sales guys had to use it to get down to England way for a meeting and needed the satnav and then I ended up with a twingo and was almost late for work because of this. They should have been prepared because they also could not find the keys to the twingo.

My visit to Renault Swansea was for my vehicle to have it's M.O.T. I have to say that, on arrival, the welcome was first class. Rachel in the Service Department in particular was excellent. She always gives you a lovely welcome and a warm smile. Just what you want. Especially at thjis time of year. The car was better when I had it returned that when I arrived. Was told car had failed MOT on two items, then received video highlighting advisory on same items from service tech, when questioned on this I was told the MOT hadn't finished and team would advise, then told car had failed on 3 more items. Have since had car MOT'd by different garage and car passed with only two advisories that were picked up by the service tech on the video. car had failed just for you to make money, will never, ever deal with Renault again.

I had an MOT on my car and I feel the service was good but the amount charged to fit a clamp on a gator was a bit excessive for something so simple.

I have had many repairs/problems that needed sorting, it's been three years and I'm still waiting. My warranty seems to be useless, it hasn't covered me for anything, I'm expected to pay for everything, even when it's not my fault. I am unsure why I even have a warranty anymore. Whenever I tell Renault Swansea about a new problem, they promise to check it out, but fail to do so, nothing is ever fixed and I am left with a car I'm not completely happy with.

Appreciate the help of Renault swansea on short notice after damage to my car due to collision with curb on the ice. Jonathan the workshop manager, i believe was very helpful getting my car into the workshop immediately off the back of a low loader.<br/>Car took longer than expected due to the festive period, but at least i knew it was in safe hands.<br/>Car now fixed, was a little disappointed the the alignment wasn’t done properly though. Steering wheel was off centre and car didn’t quite feel right.<br/>Had alignment checked on a hunter laser alignment machine, and sure enough it was out.<br/>Other than than very happy with the overall service.


Car developed sudden throttle housing problem immediately after Christmas requiring AA attendance. Dealer contacted the next day after the incident and slot was made available that day to effect the repair. Service was efficient, courteous and effective.


I would like to book a service by speaking to the team at the dealership rather than to a call centre. I don’t need to be contacted after the service to check it’s all ok. I find this intrusive and irritating. If I have an issue I am quite able to use my own initiative to contact you!

Very disappointed with several aspects of the service.<br/><br/>Firstly the initial booking of the service took several weeks to arrange as they could not get my car booked in. <br/><br/>When I did arrive Rachel then quoted a different price for the service as the car also needed a cabin filter, which was not explained on the phone, even though I had told Vicky that the car was approaching 18,000 miles and would need an oil change.<br/><br/>She then tried to up sell a service plan without really explaining what would be done in the service by the team.<br/><br/>After leaving and not being offered any transport anywhere, I returned 2 hours later and had to wait around even though the car was parked up outside and ready, while they dealt with other customers walking in and admitted they did this as they could see I was not in a hurry which was a complete assumption.<br/><br/>Finally I was again pushed for a service plan before being told what work had been done in the service, and I had to ask for this information.<br/><br/>I asked if they had looked at the Clutch pedal as requested and updated the Sat Nav, and was told it had been greased and the Sat Nav did not need doing, however the clutch pedal is still very squeaky and clearly has not been greased.<br/><br/>Overall I found the experience very underwhelming, and more of a ‘hard sell’ rather than a genuine customer experience. <br/><br/>I also note that I was told that the price of the service was fixed during my initial call and the same at all dealerships but I have since discovered a friend had his same first service cheaper at an alternative Renault dealer.<br/><br/>Probably would not come back here for my second service.

Having had an appalling experience when purchasing my vehicle,when I had to involve Renault UK ,who interceded on my behalf. I would not have returned to this dealership for any after care service but I had no choice. My car went in for its service following a reminder from Renault.It went in for a time that was convenient for me.Whilst there it was found that a few things needed doing.I was contacted and was pleased that the work would be done immediately.I picked my car up the same day following a call from Renault.I was very pleased to have any work done without having to book another day. I thought this was excellent service.


1) My car was returned to me after the service and the driver told me that he had forgotten to bring the service documents with him to give to me. I phoned Renault Swansea the following day and explained and asked if someone could send me the service record documents via email. The woman said yes she would do this for me. I waited a week and half and nothing had arrived from Renault Swansea. I phoned again and spoke to another woman and I explained my problem to her. She understood and said the documents will be sent to me. Two days have passed and I've still not received the service documents. I've been polite and courteous with Renault staff, however I shouldn't have to chase up jobs that staff can do but don't do. Hence the low satisfaction score. <br/>2) My Kadjar is one year old. There is a fault with the SatNav speed limit recognition feature which Renault Swansea were aware of soon after I bought the car. One year later this fault has still not been fixed. I shouldn't have to chase up jobs that Renault Swansea staff can do but don't do. This is why I paid for 3 years servicing, in advance by the way.

I was having problems with the engine miss firing. Which they sorted. Then informed me on the phone that the timing belt was due to be changed. I asked if it was possible for them to keep my car and fit it in to have the work as it was half term and I could manage without for a few day. Which they did and I was really grateful.

The Renault KADJAR i bought has major difficulties in seat belt retraction which has damaged both wells.Swansea indictaed that this eas a design fault which many people had complained about to Renault,,,what i find difficult to understand is that is this is such a widespread problem which outlets cannot fix why Renault has no recalled all cars to fix a UK/FR Technical Base solution,i have bought 5 Renaults and i am frustrated to see plenty of Customer requested Feedback but no solutions-Swansea are not to blame-they offered an Excellent Service for what they could address,pretty confident nobody from RENAULT UK will come back to me-so no more buying Renault if that is the case

The video of my service was bare minimum - pointless- did not mention that that had tried to see what was causes a rattling noise. Also on return of my vehicle I noticed my screen protector had been removed! I’ve had the car for two year and although may seem petty I wanted to leave it on there until it came to re selling my car, therefore I emailed ta woman who had just emailed the video reguardinfg this asking for a answer as to why it was removed and am yet to receive a reply! For the amount of money I paid I’ve had no general feedback as such on the poor video just saying everything was ok, even though a Renault worksman noticed the rattling during the last recall my vehicle had. Also my car smelt bad on return and poorly cleaned.

Not really a question. I would just like to say that the customer care I received whilst at Swansea Renault was exceptional the salesman Mr Wayne Hilde was extremely professional in all aspects. These qualities is what sold me the car. I live in Cardiff and it would have been much easier for me to purchase from either Cardiff or Newport branches but the salespersons in both where not has professional. Wayne Hilde even sent me a full video of the car rather than just a picture which I asked for. This actually sealed the deal for me I hope he gets the credit he deserves. The price you had the car listed at was on lots of sites but i was told when i called that this was the wrong price so didn't start too good, but we did come to an agreement in the end,i must admit with the lack of communication after i had paid i did start to worry & panic as i thought i had been had by a scam up until the deliver driver arriving with the car so instead of excitment i was panicing, also i was sent no paperwork or confirmed if it was taxed i had to ring to confirm all of this, i was told there was no marks but the alloys are quite damaged & there is a very bad scratch as you open the back door it is down to the metal, the car was dirty inside too with sick maybe from a baby or child in the back seat, so that is some of the things i would suggest to change or improve on as it did spoil my purchase of my new car

There were a few nasty stone chips on the bonnet and i was told that they would be taken care of before we had the car yet when we picked it up the job they did was terrible, just a spot of paint off one of the pens which didnt even cover the bare metal. Head Office Concord Road Western Avenue London W3 0RZ Reference: Reg Number CP14 AVE I am contacting you in order to express my concerns and raise a formal complaint regarding my recently purchased vehicle not being as described. This happened on March 31st, 2017. To explain in more detail We saw the Kia Soul Reg Number CP14 AVE advertised on autotrader, we arranged a visit to view the car. We were sent a video of the car from Wayne Hilde, he even states in the video, that "As we look down the side of the car, there are not any dings or dents, or scuffing on the alloys" When we saw it, the car was in perfect condition without any scratches/dents. We subsequently purchased the car and Wayne Hilde arranged for the car to be delivered to us. When it did arrive, the car was damaged, also the inside of the car stank of sweaty bodies. We have contacted Wayne on several occasions, we have got quotes as he requested, at our time and expense, we got quoted £934.00 Plus VAT from FixAuto, Renault Swansea have refused to pay that, so once again we got another quote this was for £550.00 from ChipsAway. Renault Swansea have said the damage can be buffed out and that's what they would get their bodyshop to do! Wayne Hilde even called the ChipsAway repairman called Barron, to see if this was the cheapest option, he said it was as the damage was not just on the surface. The final straw was receiving an email from Wayne Hilde at Renault Swansea Offering a goodwill gesture of £250.00. This is not a goodwill gesture, it's an insult, and doesn't even cover the cost of repairing the damage, let alone a hire car as we will be losing the car for 2/3 days. We purchased a car for £10000. : was was delivered was damaged goods, instead of rectifying the problem by paying for the damage in full and compensating us for the stress and hassle, we receive an offer that leaves us out of pocket and with a bad taste in our mouths with Renault. We wanted the car to enjoy and all we have had is hassle and extreme stress, since the day we received it. We are embarrassed to show friends and family as we have received a damaged car. To resolve this issue I would like you to fix the damage that was done between us viewing/buying the car, and it being delivered. And while this is being fixed we require a hire car. We consider this a very serious issue which has caused us an unnecessary amount of aggravation and stress. We would like a response within 3 days with a view to resolving this issue within 7 days. If these timescales are not met, I will have no hesitation in escalating my complaint, to the The Motor Ombudsman. The car was for my daughter for her 17th birthday so it had to be right. My daughter is really happy with the car. I am still waiting on the second/spare key to be handed to me. I was told at the beginning in a phone conversation your sales executive Tom Gannon the service book was stamped at 7,500 miles by the main dealer (Citroen). This was not the case. The young guy David who actually did the handover on the Saturday I purchased the car as Tom Gannon was not in work was very good. I have emailed Tom Gannon for the second key with no response. Also Leigh McGrath has emailed Tom Gannon, still no response. The car is really nice and I would purchase a car from you again as my wife is looking to change her car in the next few months. I would certainly not deal with Tom Gannon again.

London west is just 2 miles from my home. I made an appointment with them and waited nearly 45 minutes and no one attended me. Then I came home and checked the Web site and found this car in Swansea which is 186 miles from my home. Since the inquiry of the car Wayne from Swansea provided me information with much commitment and from then onwards until I drove the car from Swansea I was treated really well and felt much accepted. Superb customer service by Wayne and what a difference comparing to London west. I feel it was worth driving nearly 400 miles up and down to get the car I wanted.

I have no real complaints about Neil Jones he is a very polite and professional salesman. I do however have a complaint and concern about how Renault handle their logistics there seems to be no actual information on location or a ETA with their vehicles. I myself have been involved in moving vehicles to new locations, and it didn't take 10 days to even bring a vehicle from Ireland so how a car takes 10 days to come from Bristol I just don't know I could've literally walked to Bristol and back from your showroom in less time. I hope this is something that is addressed by yourselves as I was very disappointed with this aspect of purchasing my car.

I have owned 3 Renaults previously so did not need a test drive, even if once was offered. Every courtesy was given to me whilst considering buying my car. Unfortunately, since the salesman has not returned a single call and having had a problem with a missing aerial needed to sort it. Spoke to his boss in the end who resolved the issue. Also sent my old log book with proof of posting and they seemed to lose it. They have obviously found it now as the DVLA confirmed transfer. My husband owns a Renault and uses the maintenance plan which I have signed up to. Unsure now whether this was a wise decision considering my treatment from the sales team.

When picking up the car, we noticed that the parcel shelf and the MOT certificate were missing. We informed the salesman, Thomas Gannon, of this and he said he would get us a parcel shelf and a replacement MOT certificate. Two months later, despite repeated phone calls, emails and a visit in person we still have not received either. Mr. Gannon always tells me he is dealing with it but it does not take 2 months to get a replacement MOT certificate and a parcel shelf. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service. When I last phoned him, he even tried backtracking on the parcel shelf and going down the "sold as seen" route. However, you can't use that argument after you have told the customer you will get one for them. I am still pursuing this matter.

I bought the car as a distance sale as I live in sheffield, so the car was delivered to my house. I am very pleased with the car, however, I have now had the car for 2 weeks and still not received the MOT certificate from your garage. Hi, initially I was pleased with the service I received from the sales personnel. However to date I have not received my car, 11 days after I placed my deposit. I have been in touch with Renault Swansea a number of times to enquire as to what is going on. I was informed that as I had ordered a two tone Arizona and black it had not been delivered and was still at Southhampton awaiting delivery to Swansea. I telephoned again on 24/5/16 but it was still not available. I understand this is not the sales teams fault but I am disappointed at the amount of time I have been waiting as it was advertised as available now on the Swansea website. I asked if it would be available for this weekend, but the sales person could not guarantee I would receive it. if it is not available for collection by the 28/5/16 I am considering asking for my deposit back, I do not wish to do this as I really like the vehicle and have eagerly been awaiting it.

I'm not sure whether I would recommend the dealership or not. Whilst I believe effort was made to please me as a customer, I think the systems in place do not promote this. Both times I had to visit the dealership post purchase I was kept waiting for an unacceptable length of time. I believe this was because of the lack of coordination between the sales, service, valeting teams and external paint repair specialists. For example, arranging a 0930hrs appointment but not getting the car looked at until 1150hrs is not good customer service. I can't remember if I was offered finance or not. I made it clear to Tristan very early on that I would be buying the car outright. I found Tristan knowledgeable, personable and helpful. Katrina (sp?) on the reception desk was also helpful and she actually took responsibility in finding out what the situation was when I told her how long I'd been waiting. I am very pleased with the car but there were some issues on collection. The "eco" button on the centre console was inoperative. I only found this out whilst on the motorway heading home. Thankfully I managed to sort this out myself without another trip to Swansea. The switch had been forced and was jammed in. I reseated the switch and it became responsive. The worse issue was bad scratching on the roof of the car. I couldn't see this during inspection on collection as it was centrally placed on the roof and not visible. This was evidently caused by the magnetically mounted placards you place on the top of cars. An insane policy in my opinion. This has now been sorted thanks to Tristan and Dean. I found the amount of financial nannying, warning and box ticking quite overbearing too. I have bought new cars from other manufacturers and don't remember it being quite so heavy. Especially since I was buying the car outright and not taking finance. Finally the G3 protection I received as compensation for wasting the morning at the dealership during the initial paint repair was also not the best experience. I was delayed again and the final result does not look convincing. Only time will tell if it resists dirt and aids cleaning but the amount of smears and marks on the paintwork was disappointing. I can't imagine what kind of process leaves the kind of marks I witnessed. I have taken photos of the marks for my records. I am happy to be contacted to discuss this further.

I recently purchased my new car with you and I was not happy with the overall service that I was given. I had a Clio previously on the renault options finance and I came in as it was coming to the end of my agreement and I wanted to get another new clio. Initially I was dealing with Rene, whom I discussed everything I wanted for a 65 plate Clio including a monthly price etc etc. He said that this was all ordered and I would come back later on to sign all the finance. About 2 weeks later I had a phone call from you saying that Paul was off sick and someone else was taking over the sale of my car. I was fine with this and just assumed Rene was Paul. A few days after this, I was called again and asked what monthly payment had been agreed and they said they did not know how that figure had been agreed as they couldn't get it that low. They said they would look into it and call me back. I didn't hear back for a few days so headed into Renault myself. I chatted with someone else and they said what 'Paul' had done was taken my car as a deposit and not that I was returning it under the agreement so my monthly payment would actually be a lot more. I was not at all happy with this especially as the man who initially dealt with my sale was sitting across the forecourt I said that it was him I had been dealing with but everyone kept saying I had dealt with Paul. I then spoke to Tristan who had some 15 plate clios available, I found him to be great and he couldn't do enough for me. I eventually decided on the car and everything was then sorted and I signed for the finance etc. We then agreed when I would pick the car up, when I arrived to pick the car up, Tristan said that it wasn't ready and he thought I was coming in on the Saturday, a day I never agreed to as I knew I was going away. I had also changed my car insurance over so I was not at all happy by this especially after all the hassle I had been through before. When I did pick the car up, Tristan was great and I received a bottle of wine, mats and a full tank of diesel which I was very grateful for. Overall I'm really happy with the car and have always loved a Clio but I just was not happy with the overall customer service I received.

I have taken out both your 3year servicing & 3year extended warranty plans, but as yet have not received any other confirmation than the receipts of purchase. I understand that a booklet detailing fully the terms of Warranty will be sent. Regarding the service plan, I presume a detailed service schedule will also be sent. Finally I have changed the initial registration number to my personal number plate of A16KRL which I should like to appear on both the service plan & extended warranty plans. The pre-registration given by Renault was KD15ZFM.

Who do i need to talk to about what apears to be a problem with many Clio owners. The Medianav is not performing at its best. i.e. 1) Bluetooth phone conection keeps disconecting after a few minutes. 2) Unable to enter a full postcode on the Navigation, I understand that there is an upgrade I can purchase (european maps) that will upgrade the post code. However as I do not want European maps as i do not intend to travel abroad, therefore I am stuck with a partial navigation system. The rest of the car is fantastic and I am please with my purchase.

As lived some distance away, not possible and had already driven same model locally so was aware of performance. Would have preferred the trade-in price to have been agreed with me before I was presented with all the paperwork on arrival. Appreciate my being some distance away was a complication, but having been told the vehicle needed to be seen first I was not really happy being presented with a fait accomplis.

Originally I dealt with a Scottish guy Darren who was very polite and discussed figures on the car I purchased. The following day Darren was off work so I dealt with Tristan who was very unprofessional and made inappropriate sexual comments which made me feel uncomfortable. I felt he acted in this manor as I was am a young woman. Tristan spoke with his boss and confirmed the figure that Darren quoted and also shuck hands. I returned later that day and Tristan and the manager kept changing the price and trying to increase the amount even though I'd taken out a loan through work for the amount quoted by Darren. They made me feel very umcomfortable. The over all experience was horrific I felt really distraught leaving the office, where as I should have been excited about the car. The only reason why I put the deposit down with Tristan was due to the fact I really wanted the car. Finally I had the car for the price Darren quoted and Darren closed the deal the next day! Darren was so nice, apologetic and reassured me I could go see him for any more help.

A very disappointing and frustrating car buying experience all initiated from the wrong car being delivered from the compound! This was made worse when the car was sprayed by a Renault approved body shop. To say the work was ameratish would be a massive understatement! Several time I considered walking away due to the stress and appalling quality control I witnessed over purchasing this vehicle. A different car was eventually offered and Renault offered to pay for the paint protection. Unfortunately even though the outcome was eventually ok the whole experience was not and so I cannot in good faith recommend buying a Renault. I hope that eventually my experience with this new car will enable me to convert to Renault but it certainly isn't there at the moment!

Having had the car almost a week, I am a little disappointed in discovering an intermittent fault with the abs steering sensor and having to wait a week before this can be addressed. Having baby to carry in my car I both want and need my vehicle to be safe for her and my family. I feel this questionnaire in no way reflects the actual customer service experience had.
