I felt I was pressured into buying the vehicle whilst there was no offers on, I am aware that I missed out on an offer regarding a new registration car within a few days, therefore I assume the sales person knew that the offer was coming. I have since been informed that Renault offer a 3 year free servicing when you trade in a used Renault for a new one and I have not been offered this. I am not satisfied with service I have been given and will not be using Renault Solihull for any servicing or other needs whilst I have this vehicle.

From day one when i ordered my kadjar till collecting it, Tim Jones was very helpful and understood my needs. I had the kadjar through motability lease.


The pre-sale and handover was carried out very well by Matt Smith. The only downside, not under his control, was the moving date of delivery. Surely there could be better communication from the factory to the dealer? In modern manufacturing environments production schedules are highly planned and it's inconceivable that Renault would be any different. Pay full attention to customer expectations and make sure they are accurate and delivered without fail.

A quality sales experience but the overall customer service experience was spoilt by an administrative error.


Please ask customers where they have parked to visit the showroom. We were not familiar with the area and did not see the pay to park signs outside . We incurred a ticket which did take the shine off our visit.. a small thing I know but worth a mention before dealers no with customers

Mark From Solihull Renault was brilliant, he understood the frustration I had regarding the delay of my Zoe, because this wasn't the only stress I had at the time. He was very sympathetic towards the situation but I think Renault UK need to consider all the money I put into my Citroen car in which I gave to Renault Solihull as part deposit towards my Zoe all because of the delay. Mark has kept in touch since I purchased the Renault Zoe & he is always there to help if I need it. I just hope Renault UK was doing some sort of compensation towards the delay because this caused so many issues for me.

A good experience all round. a good recommendation of a breakfast café up the road, while I waited for the service to be completed. my only frustration is the problem getting connected to r link. I go all the way through the thing on line, to fail to get an email confirming it....


I took my clio into Solihull to have a new aircon condenser fitted as there was a leak in my existing one. I googled other sites to see how competitive Renault prices were for the work and was happy to choose Renault Solihull. As always their service was excellent from the second I walked through the door. It's nice to know that I can trust them to look after me and my car.

well the place has looked like a building site for two years now, and also when my van was serviced I had to ask for another litre of oil to be added to bring it up to the full mark on the dipstick, I was told they put the recomended amount in, if every customer is short changed by a litre of oil thats a few hundred litre's a year some one is making on

Had my car collected for its annual service. I was rang the day before and was told what time it would be collected which was really helpful. When it was collected the gentleman was very friendly and on time. I was then rang by the garage just a few hours later to say my car had passed its service and was given an approximate time that it would be bought back which was again very helpful. About a week later i received an email of a video of them checking my car. Overall the service provided was excellent and i couldn't fault it.


On our way to collect car when called to say car would not start. This was Friday evening. Had to call twice on Monday to chase progress and was eventually told car was ready. Renault did not call me to inform me it was ready. The stress we went through from Friday until Monday was terrible.

The Service of my vehicle was great. There was a gentleman called 'Dave' who was brilliant. Friendly, welcoming and approachable. If only all the car salesmen at the Solihull dealership could take on his attributes. I took the opportunity to take out a courtesy car whilst my Clio was in for a service. The Kadjar, I was so impressed with the vehicle that when I returned the courtesy car, I asked for the email address of the new / previously owned salesmen to discuss the options to upgrade from my clio to the Kadjar. Imran at Renault Solihull called me to discuss my preference for the Renault Kadjar. Since this phone call, I have not heard anything back, no email, no phone - Nothing! So I went into Renault to speak to 'Steve' used car salesmen. As I arrived with my wife and child, I saw the sales team promptly leave the showroom and we had to wait ten minutes while they had a cigarette break (10am on a Sunday morning). This I consider to be extremely poor customer service! Upon returning, Steve took down my details - to say that he was enthusiastic about me being there to deal with my enquiry would be an understatement. I was then told that I still was in negative equity within my current PCP by around £1,500. His attitude, unbelievable dropped even further. I enquired that surely taking out a further PCP on a 4-year contract would be more economically beneficial for Renault than squeezing out the last £1500..... Whilst he did not laugh at my remark the smirk and general demeanour was noted by my wife and I andI promptly left. I have had two Renault Clio's on PCP contracts over the last 6 or so years. After this latest experience, I will finish my current contract, I will not not be taking any further services from Renault, especially at the Solihull dealership. My wife has a VW and the customer service at VW by far outweighs whatever has been taught at the Solihull dealership. Stephen Butterworth

I’ve always been treated with great respect and consideration when having to use Renault Solihull, and previously when I used their site in Digbeth, Birmingham. (Now closed, moved to Solihull) All the staff, sales and service, are kind, friendly and courteous people. They are a credit to Renault. My car has been well looked after while in their possession, and cleaned and valeted before return handover. They are excellent.

I regard Renault Solihull as outstanding. My issue is with the centralised call centre that you now use for bookings. I want to deal with Solihull direct, as they understand my needs.

Seat belt issue, car was left with dealer for 4 days to do this work, plus mot & service. Disappointed seat belt issue not completed, so another day leaving car with you. Then I had to keep chasing part, think it was forgotten to be ordered on 2 occasions, only ordered when I chased, disappointed, usually great service but didn’t feel this occasion was

I was booked in for 8am and there was a queue which someone who came after could have jumped the queue and had their vehicle go through before me. Not given a time-frame for completion sat waiting for quite a while before I was seen to say in the garage. Could do with a ticket system perhaps if having to queue. Had to wait then for vehicle as booked to wait for fitting of tyres as in a queue.

I was informed that various parts were required for my car, and the waiting time for these would be two weeks. After waiting 4 weeks, I telephoned the garage who initially couldn't find any trace of the order. After discussions, it was stated that they were awaiting a part from France. My own belief is that they completely forgot to order the parts in question.

From stat to finish Solihull Renault looked after myself and my vehicle professionaly


took to long to book vehicle in for a routine service and then they had no courtasy car so had to sit around and wait for service to be done.


It was a great experience. I was comfortable to leave my car in Renaults competent hands and was very satisfied knowing that Renault was the best place to fix the issue that I had.


It was a building site where i sat for three hours. Tried to log on but the WIFI didn't work properly so used my mobile and roaming data. The lady who booked me in was really pleasant and appologetic but had no idea that i had agreed to wait for the repair. A complete waste of a day while getting a Company car repaired for a fault which shouldn't have occurred on a two year old vehicle. Just to add this is the third occasion for the same fault the car has been repaired, No confidence in the quality of this vehicle.

The place is undergoing a refurbishment so the whole place is a bit of a mess. The customer toilets were a bit basic but I suppose this is understandable. The staff were very good.


It's difficult at the moment as they have a Hugh work load due to Birmingham closing down! The time delay to get your car in could be a major factor in me changing to another brand as I am a Advanced Driving Instructor and rely on my car being seen quickly and back on the road ASAP. This is the an issue as was my front springs and mountings not being covered by your 12 month warranty? It left me open mouthed!

I had booked the service and fault resolution over a month ahead so I could have a courtesy car but none had been arranged. I was driven home on the day and had to return by train and bus to pick the car up. As it’s an electric car I have to travel a long way to get it serviced and dealt with as so few centres are equipped for them.

I thought your customer service was great, friendly and helpful people. However I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my car. I was told the car was going to be cleaned however I feel it had a very poor wash on the exterior and the inside was not cleaned.

I went for a pre booked MOT while I waited, Simon booked my car in and kept me updated with the progress. I was very happy for my car to pass the MOT and also to be washed when I collected it.


I bought the car from this dealership and have always used the workshop for service, repairs etc. The staff are unerringly helpful and friendly and always carry out the work cleanly and efficiently. The fact that I return year after year should indicate that I am a satisfied customer who trusts Renault to do the best for my vehicle.


I was not happy with the disorganisation when I went to collect my car - lack of staff and order also it took 8 weeks to get my car in despite it only being 4 months old.


A horrid rainy day was offered an umbrella to go shopping very thankful. I would only say when washing the car to pay particular attention to the car door sills

The reception staff were great, even though the centre is in the middle of a refurb we were well looked after. Only issue was the video of the car service had lots of background noise and it was not possible to hear all of the commentary.

In the last 12 years I have bought my last two cars from this showroom, and had them serviced there. I have always been pleased with the level of service and the customer care.


Having had a rear suspension spring breakage, Renault Solihull took the car in without an appointment, despite having a busy work programme that day, to investigate the issue and offer a repair on the same day. Excellent service.


Explained important to maintain warranty but can use any garage. Price was fair, easy to contact. Quite a few weeks to get a service but assured me would not affect warranty if date booked past warranty date as it was not customers fault.

Routine annual service was absolutely fine. However, there is some interior trim where the chrome is peeling off - surely a warranty claim, but Renault Solihull disputed this & said it would cost over £200 to replace. The interior of the car is very well looked after & the trim has not been bashed as Solihull claimed. In nearly 40 years of driving I have never had chrome flake off interior fittings, even on older cars. Please could somebody contact me to discuss.


Building work at Renault Solihull but someone was there to guide / make sure customers were able to park without problems, staff very welcoming on entering and dealt with professionally.

Live in Scotland, purchased car without testing. Car was delivered and was filthy inside, not what I expected. Car is great but the disappointment of the mess inside tarnished it a bit. Got it valeted and have sent bill to garage but no response yet.

I am very disappointed with the pre-sale service. The windscreen wipers were stuck to the screen and considering it was raining when i collected the car I had a 150 mile home journey with stuttering drivers side windscreen wipers. The tire pressure indicators had 3 different readings on 3 different tires. A bag of some kind of bolts were left in the glove-box, and now the service due warning is showing on the on-board computer. Hardly a good preparation for releasing the vehicle, and far from an excellent standard.

Very disappointed that we never got to test drive the actual car we purchased, if we had we would have noticed the vast amount of damage /scratches to the leather interior we took it in good faith that the car was in good condition as it was only a year old, there are dents and scratches and a tear, it looks like someone has had planks of wood in the car and gravel and we found wood and gravel in several places in the car and it was supposedly valeted, the car it self drives superb but our purchase as been let down by the above, this is our first experience at Renault and as put us off returning, you don't expect a perfect car when it second hand but the damage we found it not wear and tear and the car wasn't any cheaper than others on the forecourt, we feel really deceived after spending £16000, we even noticed paint damage when we picked it up and got the salesman tony mcgarva to get it repaired whilst we waited, my husband was fuming and wanted to return it.

I had picked this specific vehicle on line & travelled from Swansea to pick it up. Why are cars sold without spare wheels and just issued with a tin of foam and a compressor.As once you have used the foam no tyre repairer will fix the puncture as the foam leaves some sort of residue on the tyre and reacts against any puncture repair equipment,therefore rendering a perfectly good tyre which could be repaired completely useless,this is the only thing that I find bad, which I find is happening all across the automotive industry

I originally a 16 plate pre- reg Captur. This was originally promised for delivery on 21st April. This did not happen and a further 4 delivery dates were given, none of these happened. So I bought a 65 plate Captur which was on the forecourt as I needed a car. Renault Solihull were badly let down by Renault distribution. I was let down as I wanted the 16 plate car!

Ordered the vehicle 3 weeks ago. Told delivery in 2 weeks. Despite great effort by Steve Betts Captur still not arrived. He was told delivery on 21st May. Nobody can tell when the car if or when will arrive. If Captur does not arrive by Friday 29th then I have no alternative but to cancel order, as I need a car after selling mine privately and also I have only 21 days to roll over my insurance. After this I will be disadvantaged as it will have to be a new policy which will be more cost. It appears that Renault distribution is incompetent and is letting main dealers down. Needless to say I am not happy, although this is no reflection on Renault Solihull.

Our Sales Assistant, Phil Coates was very helpful. He understood our requirements. We didn't need finance or a test drive having hired a similar model recently. Phil appeared to deal with after sales very professionally, kept us in the loop regarding work to be done on the vehicle and availability. A small video message of thanks was a very nice touch. The whole experience was enjoyable. Thank-you. Keep it up.

Reason for no's above, bought car outright, had driven at a dealer in Bristol, didn't need aftersales department as I live in Bristol. Now not so good news, the passenger door lock was faulty upon collection and this stopped the door shutting, had to leave dealer with it faulty as I wanted to get back to Bristol. Have had to take car into Renault Bristol to fix, car should be checked over a bit better prior to handover, this has soured the experience a bit, but the car is very nice compared to my old Clio.

i was allowed to drive the car away with one of the key cards showing that the battery was low this should have been checked on the pre- delivery service. also the rear door hinges are noisy aging why was this not picked up?

My only negative has been that my finance paperwork start date was different on both sets of paperwork. My original paperwork when I bought the car was to start on 30th December but when I received the finance paperwork on Friday of last week, it was to start on 30th November not giving me much time to sort out my finances which was very annoying!

I am the mother of the purchaser and arranged this sale. i have owned many Renaults- savannahs, lagunas, grand scenics, scenics and clios and have obviously got much experience with Renault. so when my daughter wished to buy her first car it was natural to encourage her towards Renault. HOWEVER I am very disappointed by this sale. 1. I was advised that the car had full service history. indeed your advertising said so.Your service prior to sale is the only stamp in the service book.We asked to see the service book when we visited to inspect the car but were advised that under data protection we couldn't.! I have checked with our local renault dealer who advised that Renault recommend yearly or 18,000mile services on a 61 plate there should have been several stamps in this empty book. 2. Likewise we were informed that you had done an HPI check which you could not show us under data protection BUT you said that it would be included in the info at point of sale. we are still awaiting this.please copy it and scan it to me on this email. 3. we flagged up that the front nearside tyre looked worn. we were advised that as car about to have MOT that would be done if needed. The tyre was not changed and the car passed the MOT.on day of purchase having driven it home- a local garage mechanic friend had a look at the tyre and took measurements- he said ''only just legal''. our daughter took it to Kwik fit the following day who were most surprised that she had purchased through Renault with such a worn tyre. again ''barely legal'' was their comment. your defence will be it passed the MOT BUT the tyre was not mentioned as an advisory and REALLY selling such a car with a vvv worn tyre is not good for the image of Renault. 4. the car had one key only and i was advised that I had already been informed of this by email. I have checked through my emails and NEVER received such an email. if we had known that there was only 1 key I would have stipulated a second one be included in the purchase agreement. all in all not a good Renault experience and I am sure it is not one that you would be proud of and certainly is not one we have come to expect over the years from Renault. I have no questions but I would like to say the reasons we were not offered finance was because we specified that it was not needed. So far I can not fault the service I have received from Renault (Shirley). Your sales representative (Steve Betts) was helpful & courteous, he was open and honest about the cars we researched, we were not given the 'hard sell' which was greatly appreciated, he could not have done more and as a result I would not hesitate to buy from you again. I am delighted with the car and the one issue I had was resolved quickly, at a convenient time for me and to a standard above and beyond the norm. What I have seen of the team in Shirley so far has been excellent, we came to you because of a personal recommendation and I would not hesitate to recommend you to friends. Many Thanks
