The parts I was not happy about were: 1. I have been given a provisional delivery date after 6 weeks of placing the order and I had to chase up for that information where I was initially told that once the order reaches the factory it may take just a few days for them to provide a date. Which I believe is a bit of a poor communication from Renault end and made me a bit concerned about Renault's after sales support. 2. Although I was told by the sales Rep that it can take up to 3 months for the vehicle to be delivered it took slightly longer than that which I assumed was related to part 1.

The staff here were excellent. The lady on the desk was so helpful and polite on my visits and also by telephone. Paul French the motability specialist is a really nice person, helpful and polite. I had to bring my delivery date forward due to an error date and this was no problem to him and my car was ready for me to collect. On collection Paul Law handed over and gave me a full demonstration. My only poor experience of Romford Renault is parking, this is quite a problem

I had a call around a month ago from a member of the Renault team telling me that I could trade in my car for a new one. He told me that it would involve paying less than œ1 more per month and no deposit would be needed. When I came into the showroom a few days later I decided to choose a more expensive model meaning that the monthly payments were understandably more expensive. I was then asked to pay a deposit, after around half an hour back and forth between staff I was told I wouldn't have to pay this. I then received a copy of the contract that stated I had 8,000 miles per year regardless of the fact I had specified 10,000. This took days of emailing and calling to rectify in which time I was told I may have to pay a higher monthly rate for the change to be made. Finally, I was told my new car would be with Renault Romford on 09/05/17, this date then moved to today 11/05/17. The car is still not there. I have now received this survey to comment on my thoughts on a car that I do not yet have. I have been pleased with the service Renault have offered me over the past 3 years which is why I was more than happy to agree to a new vehicle with you. However it seems the luxury and good service of being a new customer has well and truly worn off. Through out the sale I have been dealing with Paul Law from Renault Romford, he has been regularly in contact and I thank him for his help over the last few weeks. However I thought this would be a much less painful process.

I have had 2 Renaults previously. I fancyed a change & went to GM. Ended up with Vauxall .service wasn't very good from the start. I was charged for a dianostic test as well as a fitting charge for a battery. Though the battery was known to be flat. When the battery was changed it was clear there was no other mechanical problem so I think the dianostic charge was unreasonable on this occassion. Apart from that the matter was dealt with quickly and the staff were very good. I have bought five cars from this show room, but feel a bit dissapointed with my bill.

A massive waste of time and cash that left me with an unroadworthy vehicle and loss of earnings through repeated return trips to the dealership that didn't resolve the problem. A problem that didn't exist before I took the vehicle into the repair centre. I feel lucky the power steering failed while I was a home and not on the road or the end result could have been an accident.

It would be good to have an estimated collection time for the vehicle. I know this is difficult to do, but a rough idea would help me plan my day. On the phone I asked to speak to someone about upgrading my vehicle to a new Dacia. However, no-one has spoken to me about this. This is the second year in a row that my request has been ignored. I'm really not happy about this, and I'm considering taking my business elsewhere. This is a shame, as I've really grown to love my Dacia.

The car was booked in and serviced as expected, the booking in process is easy enough as was the dropping of process. I was contacted during the service by an engineer who gave me a run down of other work he felt should be done. In truth I was not happy with this list as we've only had the car two years, it has done only around 7,000 miles during that time, yet the list of faults seemed quite extraordinary, that however is not the engineers fault, he was simply doing his job.

Previously my late husband and I have always used Renault Romford and there Service Section has always been v good but when I came to change my car in 2015 I got a better price from Toomey Laindon and the salesman was not over interested in selling me a new car. Perhaps he thought an older woman with grey was too old to buy a Capture? That's my experience but I found the Service Staff most helpful.

I hadn't been told that Renault would price-match other quotes for service and MOT. Hence it was only by chance that I got a fairer price. Also when my car was collected from home the driver first did a London pick up (in the morning rush hour, then Brentwood then me in Upminster so didn't arrive until about noon. Totally illogical and a poor use of his time and a waste of my morning. Not happy with that at all. Better planning needed.

Was told I had a puncture due to a nail being in my rear tyre. After visiting another garage the nail was removed with no damage to my tyre. Also, was informed my read brake light was loose yet no one actually fixed it. Have been advised since that paying so much for my car to be serviced with renault they should be able to fit the light back securely for the cost I am paying. (Would not cost anything to fix back in place so why would this not be done? I am not car savvy so would not know how to fix back) Car returned and wasn't clean despite being told it had been. Windows had old raindrop marks still visible all over driver side windows, floors not cleaned properly and dried bird poo still on car door and under window. Really displeased with experience of car servicing. Never had issues before now and have always come to Renault prior to now. Paid œ149 for check and don't feel as though it was worth the money at all as I was misinformed and did not feel service was carried out properly. First time using service package as normally my services were inclusive on my finance package and now not, so additional cost for less help/work on the car.

Trying to park was a nightmare. I told the service department that I had a problem with the aircon. I was told that this would not be covered by my guarantee and I would be telephoned before any work was carried out. Being as I dropped my car off at around 8.30am and by 4.00pm I had not been contacted,I called the service department. I was told that they had been unable to rectify the problem and asked if they could keep the car for another hour. When I called again, they said that their equipment was faulty and they had now rectified the problem.

Service and staff st Romford great. However, needed to book clip in for new clutch. Didn't have diary so arranged to ring following week to book in. Rang Romford but got some idiot at a call centre. It was all arranged with Renault claims before I left but I had to go through it all again with this twit who didn't have a clue what I was talking about. If I could have spoken to service reception this wouldn't have happened. You need to get rid of this call centre or have it staffed by knowledgeable people. I will ask in future if it's the call centre and if so will hang up and try dealer again.

The guys at Romford are always friendly and professional. My car was in for a service which all was fine however I have an issue with the back seat belts. When you try and put a car seat in the buckle part seems to be back to front and you have to twist the seatbelt at some point to be able to do it up. This obviously is not SAFE for your child. They tried turning it around but it did not work and on checking other Dacia cars they are the same? This issue does need looking into. I have three grandchildren and all of them have different car seats and I have the problem with all the car seats. The new law on child's car seat mean that you can be fined if they are not put in correctly but I have no option other than to have the belt twisted at some point? I would very much appreciate a response to this issue. They guys at the garage said they had never come across it before but agreed this was a problem.

I took my car in for a light judder at around 2000rpms no faults had been logged and the workshop tech found nothing on test drive. I asked him to reset the fuel pump inlet metering valve parameters. And the fault has gone. After 30years as a diesel engineer i suspected that the fault was that in the 4k miles before i got the car it had only done short journeys and the imv in the pump has never had its end points set and has just been driven. The car is 100% better, better fuel economy and above all no juddering Regards Colin Davies

Altogether the process was efficient however with the Kadjar there is silver plastic on the gear box housing and on the doors (outside). Both had small scratch marks that were not there before.....not enough to warrant a complaint but is really frustrating when an owner goes to so much trouble to avoid scratches on an exposed service. (in addition, this field does not allow words to be corrected and requires paragraph to be retyped...just another annoying thing..!)

In 16 years, I have always found the staff friendly and helpful and had no complaint. My last visit was different, in as much as parking was a big problem. The car wasn't cleaned well. The seat belts were not clicked in place and tyre pressure not as usual. They were extremely busy and seemed short staffed, finding these few points unusual, it makes me wonder if anything was rushed or forgotten. I must wait 2 weeks to return for a part to be fitted. The staff on the desk have always been helpful and kind and the service manager respectful and helpful.

The reverse gear light and rear parking sensors of my car had stoped working some times in December 2016. I had an appointment booked for 3rd Jan 2017, with the renault garage at Black Horse station in Walthamstow, due to a fire this garage was closed on my appointment day, which I was not informed of. Then I managed to get a new appointment for 10/01/2017, with Renault Enfield. Renault enfield have advised me to call the company( Starmo Electronics) whom fitted the rear parking sensors on my car, as dealer fitted for Renault Enfield. After contacting Starmo Electronocs, they advised me, if the reverseÿ gear light is not working, the parking sensors wont work, so I was told to go back to Renault for fixing the reverse gear light. On 16/02/2017, I attended my first appointment with Renault Romford for fixing the problem with reverse gear light and rear parking sensors, I left my car with them all day, end of the day I was phoned that the car is fixed I can collect my car. Coupleÿ hours after collecting the car same day, the reverse gear light and rear sensors stop working again, next day I phoned and booked another appointment for 21/02/2017.ÿ I was booked for 11am, at around 11.35am I was informed the car is done the reverse gear light and sensor are working, I can collect my car.ÿ After collecting the car same day in the evening, reverse gear light and rear sensors not working again. Every time I had take my car to Renault for repairs, I have taken time of work, being a cab driver I need my car to be able work.ÿ I have already lost enough being off work while trying to get my car fixed. I am still paying for this car, and it is under warranty, and I have had 4 services until now since april 2015 when I purchased the car new. I have purchased this car to save money, but unfortunately I am losing money instead, which is not fair when you buy a brand new car. I bought a car of 13.590£ (even more expensive with the finance) and to be honest I did not receive the service expected. During the handover I felt I did not receive all the information needed. Even the choice of the PCP was quite a pushy experience. I wanted to play a bit more with the deposit, final rate, etc. but basically the setup of the finance was done without much choice as the request of the terms was submitted without I confirmed them. Even when I asked for a discount, I was not offered not even 1 cent off. Of course, the discount is not mandatory, but considering the value of the car I would have expected something. Not even the service for free or other advantages were offered. The matter of the salesman were just selling more and more products. Again, of course is his job to sell but even is his job to make sure customers are satisfied and happy with the purchase. Considering the overall experience, once the finance is over I will definitely move to another brand. Not satisfied by Renault unfortunately.

Bought the car online and had no problems whatsoever. The salesman, Joe, was helpful and responded to queries in a timely manner! The man who delivered the car was very friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had. Have emailed Carl Simmons twice and left several telephone messages with your receptionist Monica who said he would return my call regarding the mats that should have been included with the vehicle together with a price for a space saver spare wheel. I eventually spoke to your salesperson who said he would get back to me, that was a week ago. I am very disapointed with your customer service and hope that a solution will be reached asap thus avoiding a visit to your showrooms and voicing my complaint. John Hodgetts

My two no answers reflect the point that I had to deal with Romford branch as Liverpool did not get back to me as I didn't want a new vehicle. In fact I found out my car was not even in Romford as advertised an was driven over 200 miles to there before coming to me. Really don't understand this as we are much closertl to Leeds. I paid £70 for a boot liner which I am still waiting on! It is a must as I have a dog. My nearly new car is going to need a valet soon. So not happy really, I even had to pay the £30 Road tax. Log book still not arrived either. Thanks kelly

I live near a branch of Renault that I have to say has a bad reputation. Due to this and bad previous experience it put me off visiting Renault or even looking at any Renault cars. I made the decision to visit Romford Renault and was introduced to Carl Rogan. He was such a great salesman, and due to Carl I brought a Renault. he talked me through all options, showed me around the Captur, let us go for a test drive and made us feel like we were the most important people he had to see during the whole of the sale. Having people like Carl working at a branch close to the one with the bad reputation is a great thing to have, as he made me instantly feel excited to buy a Renault car. I could not recommend him enough, I have even convinced my father in law to see Carl to buy his next Dacia. Thank you.

Although I was originally pleased with my purchase. I've had to return the car three times due to the same fault. Although I cannot criticise the team at Romford as each time they have straight away offered to rectify the fault. I feel it taking three attempts was very poor customer service. Each time the car having to go back has caused me inconvenience and money in diesal (not once have I been offered compensation for this). The final nail in the coffin for this garage is on returning my vehicle with the fault at last fixed is they've scuffed the bumper and it had got to go back yet again to be repaired. The young lady dealing with this has apologised but as my car is now going back for a fourth time I feel I should have at least received a call from a Manager or at least the person who sold me the car in the first place. Sadly both have left it to the lady in the repair shop !!!!!!

I bought a pre-reg Megane ST that was listed on Autotrader and in fact was being held at the Renault UK storgare depot. So, I knew what I wanted and it was really just a case of signing up and paying, so not a diificult sale! I found communication with Renault Romford poor, difficult to get through at times and Emails not answered for a long time. But overall, Carl Rogan was pleasant and recognised me as a knowledgeable customer, so treated me at the right level.

I have not been happy with the sales at all. The actual sale itself seemed shambolic, the car wasn't ready, despite me having paid for it two days in advance (and no courtesy email to say payment had been received). The car was very unclean, (smells of cigarette smoke). I had to wait for Joe to find the manual and service book (which is rather unprofessional) it wasn't like I turned up unannounced, and I had to have all my papers in place. He said he would post the book to me! And lastly I now have to bring the car back next week for a recall that I know went out in March, but Joe telling me he only knew about it on Friday. I really should not have been sold a car with a known recall. The whole experience far from adequate, much less than I have experienced elsewhere and I would not recommend.

I purchased this car over the phone after finding it on the internet. Unlike our local dealers, the process was simple and I had the car in a couple of weeks. I cannot complement Ian Gadbury enough for his help and "can do" attitude. The only downside is that I cannot get a service deal through you as my nearest RRG dealer is Leicester. Firstly one of the keycards does not work (not unlocking the car) so I am presugivenming you have given me a WRONG key. Secondly you mentioned the health check/MOT had been done on the car but presume that was not a very through job by your mechanic - the gear sticks feels like it is popping out when driving in gear 3 - I'm not very comfortable driving the car long distances until you have sorted it. Obviously these two issues come under my warranty and i need them sorted ASAP - I have to say I do not feel I was given a great service from beginning to end of buying this car, from the nearly 2 hour wait to see a salesman and then to discover I've been given a dud key and the MOT/service which was promised was obviously not done to the correct standard, and to the follow up phone call. £8k may not be alot of money to you but it is to me and the service standard throughout was very poor indeed. The car cleaning was also pretty poor as there was still moss on the rubber of the window seals, also the oil did not look like it had been changed either when we checked on pick up.

Overall This Has Probably Been The Most Stressful Time I Have Ever Had Buying An New Van. When I Aventually Collected The Van There Was No Fuel In The Veichle, The Van Hadn't Been Washed, The Collection Date Was Wrong And Had To Wait Another Extra 4 Days! It's Just Not Good Enough. The List Is Endless It Really Is! A Phone Call From Somebody Would Be Much Appreciated.

Hi, sadly my Renault has a problem which could result in an accident. The throttle does not respond for a short period after commencing a journey which could leave me in a difficultly with other traffic. My diagnosis is the battery possibly requires replacing. I could be wrong and I do not really wish to drive this vehicle until the problem has been sorted out. Mike Holdaway.

Experienced some problems with sales person product knowledge. Not knowing how rear seats folded down correctly. Didn't know where brake fluid reservoir was located. Arrived 40 minutes late for my appointed collection of vehicle and kept me waiting. resulting in a rushed hand over of vehicle. As it was rushed I didn't have time to fully look over vehicle and notice some potential issues. Not convinced that the car had received the requested protection valet as a lot of water marks inside door frames. Was told I would receive a call to ask of post sales feedback but didn't. Did the deal with Ian Gadbury and can recommend him entirely. Has totally the right approach in my opinion. In fact we went to Glynn Hopkins to buy a Qashqai but were totally put off by the sales person. It is a pity that Ian isn't working there as I think the Qashqai would have been a much better vehicle to purchase

Please can you explain why the customer has to set up the Renault sat-nav, that has proven to be very frustrating and technically inferior to our older model? After just purchasing a brand new car, I would expect this to be already set up for the customer. We have repeatedly attempted to update the unit but it will not recognise certain roads or house numbers. After contacting the salesperson, he advised us to keep attempting to update at least three times but this has been unsuccessful.Our vehicle now has to go back to the Romford branch on the 26/11/15 as this was the only available date, three weeks after the purchase date. This in my opinion is poor service. I have been a loyal customer to Renault over the last 13 years and may reconsider with my next purchase. Kind regards.

I didn't need a test drive as I had already driven a Capture at another dealers. The salesman, Carl Rogan, was exerlent and handled my purchase of the vehicle in an exemplary manner. However, as part of the purchase price on the Renault Retail website, there was 2 years free service offer. None of the sales team or Managment at the Romford Branch were aware of this offer so I had to point them to the RR website. I was not made aware that as part of this deal I would have to return the vehicle to a Renault Retail Group dealership to have the servicings carried out. I was not made aware of this until I had purchased the vehicle and as I live 120 miles away from the nearest RR dealership, it is not practice for me to do this. I have not been shown a copy of the Ts & Cs that state this requirement and don't believe they exist. Unfortunate, I have had to raise this matter through the Renault Customer Service department who have assured me that they will try to resolve my complaint. This has tainted what was my first purchase of a Renault car.I do not hold Carl responsible for this but his senior sales manager could have easily resolved this matter without me having to raise a complaint.
