Our Sales Representative Steven Hensley has helped us with our previous vehicle and our recently purchased new vehicle. He is an exceptionally pleasant and approachable individual and has been a pleasure to deal with.


Steve Hensley is who I dealt with at Renault Liverpool. His service is outstanding. However other members of the team don’t even come halfway to his standard. The service team are poor and rude. This survey was wrongly addressed and is very difficult to read without altering the brightness levels on my screen.

The car was ordered with a camera and did not have one. Also the warranty paper work says 3 years and it should be 4. The dealer has not replied to my query on the camera and Renault Complaints have failed to keep me informed about how and when these issues will be resolved. Customer Service overall has been disgraceful. I wish I had ordered a different brand electric car now.

Sara in sales was absolutely fab ! I would recomend her to my friends and family when buying a car. The only comment i do have which tainted my experience was that the car clearly had not been valeted before i picked it up - the was oil on the interior of the doors, a sticker on the window which sara had to go and get a valeter to get rid of and there was sticky marks on the exterior which dirt had stuck to by the time i got the car home. I had to take it for an external wash the next day and wipe the oil off the doors myself !! Not really acceptable when purchasing a new expensive car !!

Purchased Renault Captur 8 months ago and wasn’t happy with the overall performance. I contacted customer service who put me in touch with Steven Hensley who provided an excellent service with email/Phone updates regarding my new purchase of Renault Clio that I received two weeks ago - nothing was too much trouble - would definitely purchase another vehicle with Steven Hensley.


From ordering my new car to picking it up Steve Henshaw from Renault Liverpool has gone out of his way to make sure everything possible was done for delivery to be on time, all paperwork was done in quick time so I wasn't hanging around for a long time, was very pleased with the service I was given.

I was perfectly satisfied with the entire process until we saw the dent and chips. It is being sorted but spoils the experience. I also have not been impressed with the leaks on the driver side door and the fact that the driver side doors need to be slammed to close whereas the passenger side ones only need a slight push.

The purchase experience was interesting. There was some change in how to apply for finance using an EU licence which delayed me getting the car by quite a few hours. I am also still waiting to hear back for a servicing contract.

I received a friendly welcome from my first visit to Renault Liverpool and the adviser Steve explained and answered all my questions and made me feel fine about my queries. My only issue throughout the process was the delivery time I felt this was excessive as I ordered the car in Nov 2017 and it didn’t arrive until Mar 2018. Steve did keep me updated on the delivery date though. I was expecting the car end of January to beginning of February. Overall a good experience although I did feel leg down with delivery time

From booking the car in. I had two text messages to remind me of time etc. Staff were helpful and friendly. Offerd us refreshments, to phone a taxi if we needed one. Showed us too the car after the MOT. Recived a video of the procidure that was carried out on the car. And was very pleased all round with the service.


I have explained the issues with having to make repeated visits to the dealership to rectify a simple issue that in the end took only one day to fix with a new part. The repair took 3 separate visits over 4 days to fix a straight forward problem. I took days off work as I was led to believe that the issue would be resolved each time. When the vehicle had to be left overnight on the second visit I had to almost beg for a replacement vehicle so I could get home as I would have stranded 30 miles away. I was horrified to find out the next day that my vehicle had been taken out of the workshop and taken to the private home of the mechanic overnight. This was done without my permission and is completely unacceptable. Im still not clear what the reason was for this. The repair was eventually completed after the 4th day of being in the workshop. The whole process took 3 months. The service received is extremely poor for a main dealer and I would never take the vehicle back there for any repair or otherwise.

Took car in for first service and informed receptionist that the stop/start didn't seem to work all the time also the eco indication chart on dash panel had stopped working since the car had been in for some repair work, when car was ready for pick-up after service I notice the eco indication chart was still not working, stop/start works but not all the time?, not sure how often its supposed to work? Dealership did get in touch with me to see if I was happy and I told them about eco indication chart not working and she asked me would I like to book it back in again and I said no , as I would wait for next service visit.

i have been a customer of renault for over five years, i have had no complaints with any of the vehicles i have driven, the staff are warm, pleasant and courteous. overall renault could teach other companies how to interact with customers, service with a smile, even on bad days!

The car was only in for the day for a service and I was provided with an automatic courtesy car, which was great. My car was ready for me to collect after work and I was advised that it had been cleaned. On closer inspection I could see that it had not. Overall though I was very pleased with the service provided.

The length of time I had to wai. You need to put a room in there with beds I fell asleep on the tiny chairs you have to wait so long. I was there for 3 hours and was left alone to fall asleep in the showroom. Ridiculous. Seats are very uncomfortable. Not recommended for waiting such a length Of time

I was not told when I made the booking that I would have to get the engine steam cleaned myself before work could start to fix rodent damage. This led to my car not being fixed for over a month

I waited well over a month for an available appointment in which I could get a courtesy car for the day. When booking the appointment I asked for a service, my passenger wing mirror (the outer housing was broken, glass and electronics were fine) to be repaired and also I had a problem with the stop start. When asked my age I told them I was 20 and was informed I would be able to get a courtesy car as I've had my license for over 3 years however I would have to pay a £15 insurance premium as I was under 21 (which I was fine with). I was also told over the phone a wing mirror replacement would be expensive but as it was black and the glass and electronics were undamaged I would not have to pay for a full replacement. The day before my appointment, I got a phone call to confirm but I was then told I had been misinformed about the courtesy car but I asked them to check as originally the person I made the booking with went and double checked to confirm. When I dropped my car off they had no record of the wing mirror needing repairing nor would they allow me to have a courtesy car, which I needed to travel around for my placement. I was offered a Taxi with the first £5 paid for, which is all very well but the taxi arrived with £3.80 on the meter. My car was then in for 2 days as they had forgotten to get in the parts for the wing mirror. On the Thursday I rang to see when I could collect my car to be told it would be in till atleast Friday evening, so I had to book a Taxi to get home to then be rang 40 minutes later saying my car was ready and pay for another taxi to get to the dealership. Finally, I had been charged for a full wing mirror replacement (over £200 i think) as they said it was not usable, despite everything being absolutely fine with it, only the outer shell had cracked.


I had booked my vehicle in for a 'while you wait' service online and also telephoned on the day to ensure this was correct. However, on arrival, there was no record that my booking was classed as ' while you wait' and it was assumed I was dropping off my vehicle for a later pick up. It wouldn't have been viable for me to leave and return later and I was simply told to wait. The service took over two hours. Had I known this would happen, I would not have considered a 'while you wait booking' which do seem to have a waiting list (the online system could only offer a booking two weeks from when I initially enquired).

Renault have looked after my cars - Clio, Megane, Laguna, Laguna, Megane Sport Tourer since the 1990s - they've also looked after me! Very helpful, friendly and always communicate about possible issues. Thank you, Renault!

I have using renault liverpool for over ten years, as thisvis my 5th renault. I also bought my son's renault from here, and my wife also drives a renault. I was made to feel like i was being done a favour, not a like a customer. I always felt welcome there and recommemded. Not any more.


The car was in for 4 days to do less than one day’s work. The parts hadn’t been ordered for the car for the day that is was booked in for, despite the fact it had already spent one day in for repair to assess the faults and I had then waited around ten days for another appointment so they could get the parts. Despite the fact I dropped the car at 8.30am each day the work wasn’t started until late in the day on two occasions and I was told they didn’t have enough time to complete the work and would have to do it the following day. The whole experience was a nightmare. I will never buy another Renault. Terrible service and horribly expensive electrical faults.


This time was wonderful as the car was picked up on time from home. I would never take it in and collect myself as last time the staff were awful and I had to complain but this time was great

Warm,professional,efficient welcome. The electrical fault for which the car was booked in has reoccurred once since service so i can't say i am 100% satisfied yet!


Renault Liverpool solved a problem that should have been sorted by Renault Wirral. But Renault Wirral just fobbed me off. After I contacted Motability Renault Liverpool and Mark the service manager took over the job and thanks to them I now have a fully functional air conditioning unit. If I was doing this survey for Renault Wirral it would be a lot different.

Overall great service. Had some rewiring done on the car. Everything works well now following an initial misdiagnosis. The only thing to improve I could think of would be to fully re-insert the plastic covers inside the car after the rewiring, which I ended up doing myself (and it was very easy).


Its the 2nd time i have been for a service,the time it takes i was satisfied,the only problem i could think of was that the interior of the car wasnt cleaned very well and for the price you pay for the service, you would think abit more time would be spent.

Pre-service - no mail, email or person contacted me to say the service was due. As the car was purchased new from you, and you have carried out all 3 previous annual services, I was expecting a timely reminder late April - early May, but none arrived. When I contacted you it was some 15 days later that you could service the car and carry out the second MOT.


Just disappointed that my car had not been valeted as promised. This however was resolved and apologies made.


Satisfied with the service received but a little unhappy that it was cleaned, maybe because it is a van but feel it should not make any difference it should still have been cleaned

Easy to book for repairs and services and the bookings team are very friendly and helpful. Had to visit twice over a few weeks for repair work then service and MOT. The lady forgot to call me about the car being ready after I called up to ask her so I made my way up anyway but the second time I went Shelley was really lovely and called me when the service and mot was ready. Also, I was asked to give a 9 or 10 rating on my first visit and also called me to tell me that the survey only takes 1 minute and to rate a 9 or 10 in a patronising manner. Had two missed calls over a couple of weeks whilst I am in work from renault and can only assume this is another call about this Survey! I am not sure what is riding on these surverys but maybe a more natural approach to customer service instead of forced ratings would best.


My first visit was excellent, the service was done well and the car clean. On the second to repair the seal on the windscreen the job seems to be done well but the car was left with tape on the exterior screen and dirty inside. All the material that had come from windscreen job was left lying on the dash, the seats and the floor of the car. This was most unsatisfactory.


I took for granted that my side lights and head lights would have been returned to automatic.drove home with no lights in the evening.another driver made me aware of my situation.


Generally fine, however this is not the first time to return thr car to your one of your dealers. Computer faults with tyre pressure new computer partfitted and the latest incident.

The repair was done all OK. The reception staff on handing the car over prior to work being done seemed OK. The communication when the car was in Renault Liverpool was dire, I phoned up probably 3 or 4 times to find out what was happening. These by right should have been the dealer making the calls to the customer. The repair was £440 so not a small amount of money for a replacement wiper motor. The time the car was in for getting fixed I believe was far too long. A repair such as this should be between 24 to 48 hrs, the customer not being able to use the vehicle for days and days is unacceptable.

Difficult to park. I'd booked a vehicle and the service weeks in advance and was advised only to turn up between 08.00-10.00 on the day of service to drop my car off and collect hire car for the day. When I arrived, I was told the cars were only available on a 'first come first served' basis, which was never advised to me over the phone. I had booked my service in and a replacement - why wasn't this saved for me? Very frustrating and ineffective system for customers. If this is the case, customers should be told this over the phone - no point having a booking system if a reserved car is given to the first person who walks through the door on the day. I was offered an automatic car initially, then a sales car with writing all over it. Far from ideal. And I only wanted to get home / back to the car show room to collect car. Given Renaults error in this regard, they should have provided me with a taxi as requested, rather than an embarrassing car with sales info written all over it. Also, the heating to the passenger footwell has been identified on two occasions as not working well - yet a fault has not been 'electronically' found.

Was not happy at all I have a mobility car so when I booked my car in I told them I needed I car to get back home and come back as I have a bad Hart and lived a few miles from the show room. They told me it would be there when I drop my car off. When I turned up with my car there wasn’t a car for me as they hadn’t ordered one but told me they had when I booked it. So because I lived to far way to get back I then had to wait around then for a few hrs. So I wasn’t very please at all. So it was a good job I didn’t have any hospital appointments because I would of missed them. So I think if they say they have booked you a car then there should of been on ready for me this is no way to treat a customer at all.

Lady at the desk in services was absolutely fantastic and very friendly. Service was fast. My log book book was in the side pocket of the passenger side door and did not get stamped by the service man so I will have to return with the log book.


The car was ready later than expected (5pm not 3pm). I was not told that it had to be collected by 5:30. A message was left later but it was too late for me to get train and arrive in time. Luckily the keys had been left at sales so problem was solved.


The experience was good but I did feel that following completion of the mot and getting the car cleaned took an unexceptional length of time that took nearly as long as the mot.

When I took the car in I said I wanted it back by 2pm. I received a message to say that it would be ready any time after 12 so I arrived to collect about 12.45 only to find out that it was not ready. I was not impressed when I was told that I wanted it by 2 and that was why it was not ready.

I was sent an email telling me that my van was due a service I would get 72 hour preferential booking and also the van would be cleaned on returned.


The whole experience was first class. I opted to have my car collected and returned to me. This was very straight forward and went without any problems. I cannot complain about the cleanliness of the vehicle on the outside it was obvious that it had been washed, but the interior was something else. It was nearly as bad as when it went in, although this was too bad as I take pride in my car, but had left cleaning the interior as I had been promised it would be validated. Yes it had been cleaned but not very well. The mats did not seem to have been taken out because there were small stones under them. I had to do a proper clean when it was returned to me. I particularly liked the video that I received while the car was in the garage that told me about the progress of the service. Very happy overall.

Service receptionist was so lovely! Very friendly and approachable with myaelfnand my Daughter, kept me updated by phone with progress of my car and when it was ready for collection. Upon collection she took payment and walked me out to my car which was lovely - I didn’t have this with my previous service. However on both occasions my car hasn’t actually been cleaned like stated. The wind screen was smeered more than when I took it in and the inside definitely hadn’t been touched. For a £169 service, it would be more thoughtful to give cars a full clean. Other than that, couldn’t fault anything.

i dropped my car off the night of 28/02/18 before it was booked in for a diagnostic test on 01/03/18 due to an engine fault warning light in my gearbox. i was informed i would recieve a full written report once my diagnostics had been completed. Upon arrival there was nobody around so waited for 10 minutes for a memeber of staff to take my keys. i recieved a phone call the following morning to advise they have my car and gave me an estimate time for my car to be collected. recieved another phone call to collect my car around 4.30pm with what faults my car had. i was informed i needed to replace my battery. upon arriving at renault i waited 15-20 minutes before i was acknowledged, waited a further 20 minutes for my car key but did not recieve a written report following my diagnostics. we contacted renault the next day after realising i had not recieved the report. the report was then sent to me by email. the report listed a number of faults which had not been explained to me when i collected my car. although the battery needed replacing there was numerous faults that i had not been informed of like my clutch 1 torque that needed replacing.

picked the car up in the afternoon of 28 march, when i got home i noticed the centre badge on the offside rear wheel had gone missing, i called and spoke to the sales man who said he would sort it for me. Two visits and a number of phone calls to your showroom have proved fruitless and nearly 12 weeks on i am still waiting for a small plastic item, very annoyed and disillusioned with your aftersales service and if this situation is not resolved soon i will take the matter to Renault U.K. Bill Winder.

My family and I where very impressed with David Nicol whom on the Sunday evening took time to talk through the car and we were impressed with his knowledge of the car and a deal was struck subject to the formality of a test drive on our return on Wed. 9th. Our experience with Renault Liverpool was first class and likewise when we had the test drive (car lived up to our expectations and more) we concluded the deal. David then explained the GAP cover and Service programme (which we are taking up) so well and simply that it was easy to understand. I must state that David went beyond the call of duty on Sunday and stayed behind to help with the deposit formalities and likewise on Wed. evening. I have been so impressed with Renault Liverpool and David that I will not hesitate to recommend you to family and friends. Disappointed with the overall service, viewed the car and identified a few areas that needed attention before transaction, all area agreed upon. Told that the car was ready to pick up - excited. It was immediately obvious that nothing had been done to all areas previously identified, so frustrating as time wasted, fuel and tunnel costs and more important my trust in the show room was deminished. I was told that the protective coating that I paid extra for had been applied, yet all scratches had not been removed ??? The interior had been cleaned and the seats protected - yet there where still marks in the seats. The interior of the car had a aroma, not smoke but something. Following the bomb to clean / freshen up the interior the aroma was the same, again strange. I don't want to be too negative as the salesman was good but something had gone wrong with the process. Interior cleaned, items removed (small tray in the rear) and not put back - I had to request one, I should not have to do this. Despite our experience we will still recommend Renault Liverpool to others. One other point is when you are waiting for your salesman to be free from dealing with someone else (about 1 hr) and other salesmen are free why cant someone else deal with you, complete the paperwork and speed the process up, customer service is key. A salesman / person makes a sale surely someone else can help with the overall process without the original salesman loosing his bonus for the sale.

The purchasing of this car was not as good as the two previous cars which I purchased from Renault retail Group both from different dealers. Both of the previous cars purchased all documents where correct which was not the case with this purchase and has taken phone calls and weeks to sort out. Also being an approved Renault retail car I expected all handbooks for the car to be there, the R-link2 handbook was not included, I was advised it not supplied with new cars !!! Mr Parsley, travelling three & half hours on the train illustrated that David Nicol's sales technique worked, especially the video he did for me. I was impressed with how helpful and friendly David was which was much appreciated. The car I cannot fault, had a great drive home and am very happy with it. Dave who sold me my car was fantastic i dont have a bad thing ti say about himbut I was abit shocked at the fact that I could only collect my car on a day my sales person was working. Also when my warranty letter came through it said the milage at purchase was 33001 when in fact it was 36998. I know this small detail can affect the warranty!

I continue to have concerns regarding the engine on my new car. On collection, the car was misfiring, and this has continued. I spoke to the sales team on Wednesday 9th March and they suggested booking the car into the service centre to investigate the issue. This was arranged the same day, however, as a courtesy car is needed the earliest date my car could be seen is the 12th April. I am concerned that running the engine for nearly 5 weeks, with continued catalytic converter and engine management warning lights may cause further damage to the engine. I am surprised and disappointed that a company such as Renault would allow their sales team to sell on a vehicle with such an obvious fault, and not seek to resolve the issue within a shorter period than 5 weeks.

When I picked up the car not all the owner's documents were available. The owner's handbook/service book was missing and the vehicle had a scratch along the offside. I have been told the new handbook has been ordered and the vehicle is due to be booked into the bodyshop to be repaired. Apart from this the service is good. Hopefully everything gets resolved ASAP. Is it normal procedure for vehicles pre-owner by Renault not to be supplied with the original floor mats?

Whilst purchasing the car I was promised that there would be new car mats put in the vehicle however when the car was delivered these did not arrive with it which was disappointing.

Just one concern, I was allowed to leave without having the 5 day complimentary insurance put on. Luckily I realized after 5 minutes into my return journey and then turned back to the retailer who put the insurance on for me. Good job as I was pulled over on my return journey after going through a camera for not having any insurance. After further investigation the traffic policeman confirmed that I now had got insurance. This mistake could have ended with me having penalty points and a hefty fine. Lets both learn from this.

1, The warranty was not discussed in detail, eg, we were not told about the RAC dreakdown cover as part of the warranty. 2, we discovered upon getting the vehicle home that the front on side tyre had a large split in its wall. This should have been picked up on a pre delivery inspection. (The tyre has since been changed by the dealership.

Poor delivery service from Liverpool, was informed I would get an text when car was close to Peterborough, as it was, my wife who was on night shift called to say keys had been put through the letterbox and the car parked outside. I rushed home from work as we are in a resident parking zone and I could have got a ticket ,
