I was perfectly satisfied with the entire process until we saw the dent and chips. It is being sorted but spoils the experience. I also have not been impressed with the leaks on the driver side door and the fact that the driver side doors need to be slammed to close whereas the passenger side ones only need a slight push.

The purchase experience was interesting. There was some change in how to apply for finance using an EU licence which delayed me getting the car by quite a few hours. I am also still waiting to hear back for a servicing contract.

I received a friendly welcome from my first visit to Renault Liverpool and the adviser Steve explained and answered all my questions and made me feel fine about my queries. <br/>My only issue throughout the process was the delivery time I felt this was excessive as I ordered the car in Nov 2017 and it didn’t arrive until Mar 2018. Steve did keep me updated on the delivery date though. Difficult to park.<br/>I'd booked a vehicle and the service weeks in advance and was advised only to turn up between 08.00-10.00 on the day of service to drop my car off and collect hire car for the day.<br/>When I arrived, I was told the cars were only available on a 'first come first served' basis, which was never advised to me over the phone. I had booked my service in and a replacement - why wasn't this saved for me? Very frustrating and ineffective system for customers.<br/>If this is the case, customers should be told this over the phone - no point having a booking system if a reserved car is given to the first person who walks through the door on the day.<br/>I was offered an automatic car initially, then a sales car with writing all over it. Far from ideal. And I only wanted to get home / back to the car show room to collect car. Given Renaults error in this regard, they should have provided me with a taxi as requested, rather than an embarrassing car with sales info written all over it.<br/>Also, the heating to the passenger footwell has been identified on two occasions as not working well - yet a fault has not been 'electronically' found.

Lovely staff on front desk service done with my 3 year plan then fault appeared on dash showed them my fault that I recorded on my phone which was the second time this fault has appeared the last time was December now April could not find fault now it is still continues to appear on dash engine fault check injectors check esp not happy at all will be ringing management first thing


Was not happy at all I have a mobility car so when I booked my car in I told them I needed I car to get back home and come back as I have a bad Hart and lived a few miles from the show room. They told me it would be there when I drop my car off. When I turned up with my car there wasn’t a car for me as they hadn’t ordered one but told me they had when I booked it. So because I lived to far way to get back I then had to wait around then for a few hrs. So I wasn’t very please at all. So it was a good job I didn’t have any hospital appointments because I would of missed them. So I think if they say they have booked you a car then there should of been on ready for me this is no way to treat a customer at all.

Lady at the desk in services was absolutely fantastic and very friendly. Service was fast. My log book book was in the side pocket of the passenger side door and did not get stamped by the service man so I will have to return with the log book.


The car was ready later than expected (5pm not 3pm). I was not told that it had to be collected by 5:30. A message was left later but it was too late for me to get train and arrive in time. Luckily the keys had been left at sales so problem was solved.


The experience was good but I did<br/>feel that following completion of the mot and getting the car cleaned took an unexceptional length of time that took nearly as long as the mot.

When I took the car in I said I wanted it back by 2pm. I received a message to say that it would be ready any time after 12 so I arrived to collect about 12.45 only to find out that it was not ready. I was not impressed when I was told that I wanted it by 2 and that was why it was not ready.

Service receptionist was so lovely! Very friendly and approachable with myaelfnand my Daughter, kept me updated by phone with progress of my car and when it was ready for collection. Upon collection she took payment and walked me out to my car which was lovely - I didn’t have this with my previous service. However on both occasions my car hasn’t actually been cleaned like stated. The wind screen was smeered more than when I took it in and the inside definitely hadn’t been touched. For a £169 service, it would be more thoughtful to give cars a full clean. Other than that, couldn’t fault anything.

i dropped my car off the night of 28/02/18 before it was booked in for a diagnostic test on 01/03/18 due to an engine fault warning light in my gearbox. i was informed i would recieve a full written report once my diagnostics had been completed. <br/>Upon arrival there was nobody around so waited for 10 minutes for a memeber of staff to take my keys. <br/>i recieved a phone call the following morning to advise they have my car and gave me an estimate time for my car to be collected. <br/>recieved another phone call to collect my car around 4.30pm with what faults my car had. i was informed i needed to replace my battery. <br/>upon arriving at renault i waited 15-20 minutes before i was acknowledged, waited a further 20 minutes for my car key but did not recieve a written report following my diagnostics.<br/>we contacted renault the next day after realising i had not recieved the report. the report was then sent to me by email.<br/>the report listed a number of faults which had not been explained to me when i collected my car. <br/>although the battery needed replacing there was numerous faults that i had not been informed of like my clutch 1 torque that needed replacing.


I have <br/>MY car ther done all the time and could not fault any of the staff there .tbey always go out of yhere way to make me feel comfortable and always make a fuss of my grand daughter when she is with me .

Great service, very busy the day I took my car in, so the dealership were unable to give a collection time. Great that the mini clean and vac was included, but I would have been willing to pay additional for a full in depth clean and vac but this was not offered.

It took several attempts to book a date in which to book my car in for a service. <br/>The original date I booked in was for a weekend day which had a courtesy car available which was imperative as I needed it for my work as I am on call over the weekend and during the week I work in an office several miles away from my home which also includes having to leave the office and visit works sites several further miles away. I received an email the next day to say it wasn’t available despite it being available on the website due to there not being a courtesy car being available. <br/>I then took the date offered only to be told the next day that that new date was no longer available again.<br/>So after yet another load of emails back and forth, I finally got a booking which had a courtesy car. <br/>It was only closer to the time that I realised that the confirmation email I received didn’t have a time on it that I needed to drop the car off for. I rang the dealership on numerous occasions to try to get the information for when I was supposed to drop the car off to be met by a phone that kept ringing out. I left several messages on the answer machine and didn’t receive any calls back.<br/>So I decided that as seen as I couldn’t get in touch with anyone at the dealership, I would have to arrive on the day early and see what happens. I arrived only to be told quite flippantly, coldly and matter-of-factly by the customer service representative that courtesy cars weren’t available on weekends and apparently never have been. This all despite the website advertising courtesy cars are available on weekends.<br/>So after several emails wasting my time, (some of which I had to send while I was on holiday) trying to book a service which had a courtesy car available, it was never going to be available in the first place! <br/>After asking the customer service representative how long would it take for the service to be done, as I now had no other choice but to sit in the dealership until it was done due to not being given the promised courtesy car, I was told that “it will be done before 12, as that is when I am getting off and I don’t plan to be here any longer than that” by the lady on the desk. So I wasn’t given a definite time of how long it would take meaning I would have to stay in the dealership due to not having any mode of transport.<br/>I was sat in the dealership for nearly 2 hours.<br/>I was working that weekend on call so this meant I was away from my work place for 2 hours and had no means of transport if I was needed, something I stated on the original emails trying to book in my car for the service. <br/>Overall, I was disappointed and extremely disgusted by the poor service I was given in the showroom, on the phone and on emails. <br/>I must say also though, that there was no problem with my car so I must commend the staff doing the actual service. However, I cannot overstate how poor and unhelpful I found the customer service team to be.

I have been a Renault customer since 1991 and a customer of Sefton Street since it opened and in all those years have only had a problem once - car is booked in for work on 29th Feb for follow up maintenance. I always buy my cars from Renault but this has been the worst once I have had.


You should not apply an insurance fee to reduce insurance excess and you have to have more courtesy car available as have to wait for a while


Only one criticism, ‘while you wait’ service took over 3 hours which is too long. Aside from that, staff pleasant and helpful and everything else was great

I have bought several cars here and always been satisfied, however my recent experience has been disappointing. The wing mirrors developed a fault during cold weather in December. My husband inquired to see if it was a safety feature. The car was booked in for a check on 20th December he was told it required a software update. The mirrors started to work on the 19th however it still needed the software up date. I took the car in at 8.00 am and was told it would be ready at 2.00. I was contacted at 1.45 and told the mirrors were fine when I enquired about the update I was told they would ring me back. I was waiting to go out and contacted them at 3.00. It transpired that this update was a major airbag recall. I was without my car for 3 days, just before Christmas. In fairness I was eventually given a micra courtesy car. Looking at the paperwork I then realised it was due it’s first service, I bought the car in July and had only done 2,000 miles in it. It appears that the car was still registered to Renault and that was why I had not been sent any notification of the recall or service dates. The service was a large expense when I knew it was fine and a report carried out during its 3 day stay had also confirmed this. At least the routine service was done efficiently and my warranty is fine.


I was initially wowed by Renault. Yet I have had a front puncture used the provided kit the mobility cars have. Had repair fixed by kwikfit, called Sefton Street showroom to explain I need to get hold of replacement tyre fix solution. To be told after 5 mind on hold that I have to go to kwikfit for repair. I re explained above to another advisor only to be told I have to come in so they can take my mileage. I had same repair kit with volvo and they just posted out replacement Sealent.

Good overall. Great to have my car cleaned when returned to me. Having to return on another date due to unavailable part is very disappointing, as is waiting so long between available appointments. Unfortunately, I received a telephone call asking me why I had missed my second appointment. I had in fact cancelled that appointment to take up a later one [in order to have a loan car] but the Renault employee had forgotten to cancel it.

The waiting area was not as good as other car dealers. The coffee machine was not working properly so the cofee was not hot and the choices of drinks was very limited and I had to wait for an hourand 40 mins for what i expected to be a very quick job to change a pollen filter and check car condition. I was there from 8.30 am.<br/> My previous dealers offered a wide choice and individually wrapped biscuits.Also the toilets were out of action and customers were being asked to go across to the used car deoartment which was quite a walk and the weather was poor.

Hi , i had to take my car in to liverpool sefton st .the staff tner was really helpful , i was made a cup of coffe whilst i waited .tbe staff actually asked me if my child wanted some sweets from the shop as one of them was going for her lunch .they come out and paired my phone to the bluetooth as i didnt have a clue . I couldnt recommend them enough .

I had the Renault Scenic Picked up by the same Delivery Driver as<br/>last year. I have been very satisfied with the care I have received, and the car was returned within a few hours in a very clean and good looking condition.

The part being replaced was first ordered on 6th October,I wasted a day on 14th of Nov to find it was the wrong part,the correct part came in on 22nd Nov,I had to wait till the 1st Dec to have it fitted & felt that at no time was I prioritised for service required.

I dropped my car off at 09:00 as requested and was told it would be completed early afternoon. When I returned to the garage i was then left to wait for another 2 hours as there was no qualified MOT tester to carry out the work after the service had been completed.

Initially difficult to get through to the service team to book an appointment but after that the service was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming.


I asked for some advice with some of the controls and was directed to a salesman. He was very reluctant to get up from his seat. When he eventually came to my car he just referred me to the website. There is no way that I would buy a car from this person.

When booking service I specifically asked for car to be ready by 3pm at latest due ti havjng to picn skn up from school. Reiterated this when car was brought in & was told would be no problem. Car was not ready until 3.20pm after having to chase it up while waiting in customer area. This made me 20 mins late picking my son up from school. Very disappointed as garage had my car since 9am so no excuse for it not being ready on time.


I was looked after very well during the time i waited for my car. Even had a chance to chat with Sara who sold me the car. Great staff at the sefton showroom all round.


Ive always bought my cars from renault always had them serviced and m.o.t there as i always take out a service plan and with them having 5star rating cars can be safe driving them i will continue to purchase my cars from renault liverpool.

Warm and friendly welcome upon arrival by a lady called Vikki, she offered to call me a taxi which I declined however she asked me more than once to make sure I would get to my destination ok which was really nice of her. This lady also followed up with me the following day to ensure I was happy with the work done. She was awesome :) Thanks Vikki. Servicing of my Kadjar first class.<br/>However I did book my car in for a service approx 4 weeks before and informed the receptionist that I would like to purchase a touch up paint stick to make good a scratch to the drivers door opening that was present when I bought the car. The receptionist researched with the parts dept. the paint code and informed that not a stock item and will be ready for when my car was to be serviced on 08/11/17. As no paint shop the technician could touch it in. Also my clutch pedal rubber has worn completely through to the pedal (never had to replace one before) and likewise informed at booking that one will be required and if it can be fitted during my cars service. Again informed not a stock item and will be ordered in.<br/>On arrival I was disappointed that neither of these items were present and could not be carried out during my cars service (my car was in from 10:30 until collection at 16:30). Living in Ormskirk which is approximately 15 miles from Renault Liverpool and a day off is necessary, not a hardship as my wife and I took advantage for some shopping. However, I was informed that they can order it in and for me to collect the parts, now that would be inconvenient!<br/>I was very disappointed in this as I was informed I needed to pay cash there and then.<br/>When ordered, however I do feel the pedal rubber may have been warranty work as mentioned previously never having to replace one before in 39 years of driving. If I knew at the time of booking I would have purchased them. Overall though, the servicing spot on, kept informed of progress and what time the car would be ready and also washed and cleaned for us. Thus misunderstanding does not detract from a wonderful family car that is comfy and economical. <br/>Well done Renault, a fantastic car. 😊


On arrival, I was informed the car would be ready about 3pm, I asked if I could have it sooner, receptionist said she would request it. I hadn’t heard anything by 14:00 so rang and was told it was on schedule for 3pm. As I live on with he other side of town I had to use public transport to get there. I arrived at 15:00 but didn’t get my keys until 16:30, I had to repeatedly have go to reception for an update no one seem concerned. I will probably look to get my car serviced closer to home in future.

I went there for an MOT. I received a link to a video were the engenier explained the check he did. It was very prfessional and useful. I needed to replace my tyres. I wanted to book this to be done at your garage when I went back to collect the car. I was expecting an advise and a quote for the job, but I only received my bill and the MOT sheet. My family and I where very impressed with David Nicol whom on the Sunday evening took time to talk through the car and we were impressed with his knowledge of the car and a deal was struck subject to the formality of a test drive on our return on Wed. 9th. Our experience with Renault Liverpool was first class and likewise when we had the test drive (car lived up to our expectations and more) we concluded the deal. David then explained the GAP cover and Service programme (which we are taking up) so well and simply that it was easy to understand. I must state that David went beyond the call of duty on Sunday and stayed behind to help with the deposit formalities and likewise on Wed. evening. I have been so impressed with Renault Liverpool and David that I will not hesitate to recommend you to family and friends. Disappointed with the overall service, viewed the car and identified a few areas that needed attention before transaction, all area agreed upon. Told that the car was ready to pick up - excited. It was immediately obvious that nothing had been done to all areas previously identified, so frustrating as time wasted, fuel and tunnel costs and more important my trust in the show room was deminished. I was told that the protective coating that I paid extra for had been applied, yet all scratches had not been removed ??? The interior had been cleaned and the seats protected - yet there where still marks in the seats. The interior of the car had a aroma, not smoke but something. Following the bomb to clean / freshen up the interior the aroma was the same, again strange. I don't want to be too negative as the salesman was good but something had gone wrong with the process. Interior cleaned, items removed (small tray in the rear) and not put back - I had to request one, I should not have to do this. Despite our experience we will still recommend Renault Liverpool to others. One other point is when you are waiting for your salesman to be free from dealing with someone else (about 1 hr) and other salesmen are free why cant someone else deal with you, complete the paperwork and speed the process up, customer service is key. A salesman / person makes a sale surely someone else can help with the overall process without the original salesman loosing his bonus for the sale.

The purchasing of this car was not as good as the two previous cars which I purchased from Renault retail Group both from different dealers. Both of the previous cars purchased all documents where correct which was not the case with this purchase and has taken phone calls and weeks to sort out. Also being an approved Renault retail car I expected all handbooks for the car to be there, the R-link2 handbook was not included, I was advised it not supplied with new cars !!! I imagine customers will drive around your premises and drive straight out again if they cannot park, as we very nearly did until a salesman, Dave Nicol kindly found us a vacant space. Mr Parsley, travelling three & half hours on the train illustrated that David Nicol's sales technique worked, especially the video he did for me. I was impressed with how helpful and friendly David was which was much appreciated. The car I cannot fault, had a great drive home and am very happy with it. Dave who sold me my car was fantastic i dont have a bad thing ti say about himbut I was abit shocked at the fact that I could only collect my car on a day my sales person was working. Also when my warranty letter came through it said the milage at purchase was 33001 when in fact it was 36998. I know this small detail can affect the warranty!

I continue to have concerns regarding the engine on my new car. On collection, the car was misfiring, and this has continued. I spoke to the sales team on Wednesday 9th March and they suggested booking the car into the service centre to investigate the issue. This was arranged the same day, however, as a courtesy car is needed the earliest date my car could be seen is the 12th April. I am concerned that running the engine for nearly 5 weeks, with continued catalytic converter and engine management warning lights may cause further damage to the engine. I am surprised and disappointed that a company such as Renault would allow their sales team to sell on a vehicle with such an obvious fault, and not seek to resolve the issue within a shorter period than 5 weeks.

When I picked up the car not all the owner's documents were available. The owner's handbook/service book was missing and the vehicle had a scratch along the offside. I have been told the new handbook has been ordered and the vehicle is due to be booked into the bodyshop to be repaired. Apart from this the service is good. Hopefully everything gets resolved ASAP. Is it normal procedure for vehicles pre-owner by Renault not to be supplied with the original floor mats?

Phil was really helpful throughout the transaction. Unfortunately he couldn't be there for the handover which was a bit hit and miss. Everyone on the phone or seemingly busy so felt a bit 'in the way' when I went to collect the car I'm afraid...

when picking up the c ar can the procedure not be quicker it took three hours to drive the car away.have you had any complaints about plastic trim on left side of steering wheel the edge of the trim is quite sharp also the seatbelt anchor on the passenger side has a noisy rattle.

this is the second car I have purchased and l was impressed the first time and l can only say that the SAles Exec &#40;Dave Nichol&#41; exceeded my expectations and gave me confidence to purchase a second vehicle what l liked most was that there was no pressure or intimidation that l have experienced at other outlets, l was treated with the utmost courtesy and politeness. I also liked the fact that l saw the same faces which always makes me think that the sales team r happy and looked after. As l reside in Buxton Derbyshire l could have gone to other Renault dealerships more local but because of the service I received l didn't give them a second thought so congratulations Renault Liverpool for a job well done

Just one concern, I was allowed to leave without having the 5 day complimentary insurance put on. Luckily I realized after 5 minutes into my return journey and then turned back to the retailer who put the insurance on for me. Good job as I was pulled over on my return journey after going through a camera for not having any insurance. After further investigation the traffic policeman confirmed that I now had got insurance. This mistake could have ended with me having penalty points and a hefty fine. Lets both learn from this.

1, The warranty was not discussed in detail, eg, we were not told about the RAC dreakdown cover as part of the warranty. 2, we discovered upon getting the vehicle home that the front on side tyre had a large split in its wall. This should have been picked up on a pre delivery inspection. (The tyre has since been changed by the dealership.

Poor delivery service from Liverpool, was informed I would get an text when car was close to Peterborough, as it was, my wife who was on night shift called to say keys had been put through the letterbox and the car parked outside. I rushed home from work as we are in a resident parking zone and I could have got a ticket ,
