They tried hard to manage the problems I have had with Renault Finance, who are useless. Unfortunately, the Dealership has similar problems with RCI and communication. I would NOT use RCI again.

Always very welcoming. We believe we got a good deal on the car we purchased which was, in effect, a straight swap for the Clio i'd had for the last 4 years on PCP. Problem with missing parking sensors was dealt with quickly, lease car was given so I could get to work. Will return to dealership when daughter needs a car later this year


Ross Penney was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He explained everything and kept me up to date.

It was neither any better or worse than the many occasions I have collected cars in the past. One expects masses of paperwork and sitting around and thats what you get. It doesn't change the fact that if they have the right car for me at the right price I would use them again.


During my search for a new car I had contact with 6 or 7 different manufacturers dealers test driving at most of them. I was impressed with the ones that would let me take the car away unsupervised for at least 2 hours but overall Renault Leicester came out tops.

The car was booked for 1 day to have a new clutch but I wasn’t told until after the car was dropped off on the day and I had returned home that it would take 2 days. I had to book another day off work as I had no vehicle. If I had been told it was a 2 day job I would have sorted a hire car. As it turned out the car was finished last thing on the day and was ready for collection the following morning but too late to change work commitments


The staff were helpful and friendly. Especially the lady working at th e service desk when we collected the car. I think that signage could be improved. It is very easy to miss the turning for renault leicester service. Then you would find it difficult to get back to it. You could do with clear signage for which turning off the dual carriageway is Renault as the nissan sign is dominant and confuses customers Then you could do with clear signage with which way to go to the renault service department


I have been coming to Renault (and buying my Renault car from these dealers) for more years than I can remember. I find it particularly pleasing that there are members of the team who still remember me and are able to welcome me by name. Aubrey Newman

Renault Leicester have been brilliant for us, both the sales and the service. I have never been there without a smile as soon as we arrive. The service team are very professional, friendly and explain everything to you. We were told that the service would take about an hour and a half and that's what it was. No faults but the service sheet was explained to us and a hand shake to complete the service. Well done Renault expext the best and you never fail us.

I thought I was taking the vehicle in just for a service but when I arrived I was told that there was a recall. As I was there I told them to go ahead and do it as I live more than 30 minutes' drive away. This meant a wait of three hours. Had I known in advance that there was a recall and that it would take longer my husband would have brought his car and we could have gone somewhere during the time. However, thinking it was just for a service we came in the one car and had to sit and wait. I have no complaint about the work and interactions with staff at the garage and they kept me informed during the process; just wish I had been given advance notice about the recall.


The reception staff were very friendly and pleasant, the reminders and text alerts were great, my only fault was that I would have liked my car to have been valeted, and not just washed on the outside.


I bought the car on Renault's Advertisment that the car would produce 51.4 mph on the combined urban driving. To date on a 120 miles run with myself and one passenger, the Aircon off and using the cruise control wherever and whenever possible as traffic conditions permitted the car returned at best 46 mph. Running around in my locality the car returns at best 36mph. I find this to be totally unacceptable and I am now stuck with a vehicle which I am very unhappy with and the staff at the Renault garage told me that I should write to RENAULT. Why should I, I did not but the car from Renault, I bought it from a Garage selling Renault cars and I expect them to consult with Renault which they aren't prepared to do. Only reason I said about the cleaning is becuase I was told it had been clean inside and out and it was a very poor attempt. Granted my car was very in need of a clean but would rather this hadn't been offered than a poor job iyswim


The whole team that we had contact with, Phil from the workshops the Reception Desk staff, I think were Samantha and Angela, were all exceptional in professionalism and friendliness A team to be proud of


I have already provided positive feedback to the dealership which I asked to be shared. The staff were polite friendly, well prepared and willing to assist.


I leased the car from the Renault dealer in Leicester on 21st.July,i have only had the car in my possession for a total of 8 days,the first repair lasted for 3 weeks and five days, i returned the car yet again for further repairs on August 25th.Today is 1st.September and i am still waiting for information as to how long repairs are going to take.It is my opinion that this vehicle isn't fit for purpose and would propose Renault let me either change this car for some thing that will be reliable or even cancel my Lease contract. That is how strongly i feel about my terrible experience with Renault.It is just one mechanical problem after the other. I now await your response.


The 2 hour service turned out to be 3 hours and the car was not cleaned. I think that they forgot that I was waiting for the car to be serviced and cleaned and a hurried 'job' was done.

Found staff rude, unhelpful they had my car from 7.50am and a 30 min wiper motor replacement wasnt done when i returned at 3.30pm not even started the repair.This was my 2nd vist of the week due to debates as to if covered by warranty. Which it was!i had to phone the person who i bought the car from so they could speak to leicester to verify my warranty. They kept me and their colleague waiting for almost 15 mins as i was totally ignored. I drove 20 miles there and 20 miles back twice in one week.when i arrived for the repair to be done they said i wasnt booked in and there were no courtesy cars. I had double checked on my previous visit that they had me booked in and a car was available!! They were totally disorganised and i will never return. I would rather drive 100 miles to the bolton branch than go to leicester again. Shocking service, shocking attitudes!!

They refused to provide the courtesy car because I had EU full driving license and not UK driving license. They failed to mention any need for an exclusive UK driving license at the time I made the booking. The same EU driving license they accepted previously when I did a driving test before purchasing the Dacia Duster. For this reason there is an open case for indirect discrimination as per Equality Act 2010.

The link sent (via email) to view the cars' health check did not work. Overall I have always been satisfied with my experience at Renault Leicester which is why I have returned year on year for many years. The service is always friendly polite yet professional. However recently there has been a reduction in follow-up contact when I have bought a new car; not sure why!!. At least one if not two follow-up telephone calls would add to the quality of service given.

the cost is to high £400 for a new cam belt. I have been a Renault customer over 20years.


Firstly, the survey is rigged as won't let you add a score of 7 or less. This needs addressing to get a fair opinion survey result. Secondly, the car was not give a full service and inspected thoroughly as the brake light was faulty prior to and after inspection. It was not an intermittent issue.

The service was completed to my satisfaction without any complications, car was cleaned inside and out and the work was carried out in a very timely manner. There are two little issues one is that I did not have any notification that the service was due except for dashboard warning light, and the other is that there never appears to be a car to use while the car is having the service without a lengthy wait ie 2-3 weeks.Other than that perfectly happy.

Just one small problem with the car radio can you please return to the station it was on when I brought the car in for a service thats all but very satisfied with the service from Renault.


Even though we booked a service and mot on arrival no appointment had been made.service reception said no record of booking yet this was done through your customer service at Orpington. We was booked in at Leicester finally and service and mot completed. Why do we bother to use this service, my car since purchase as only been serviced at Renault Leicester so why the confusion.

Very frustrating when ou receive a call to come and pick it up, being told that car was ready and about to be cleaned. Upon arriving 2/3hrs later, the car was not cleaned. I was told i could wait 1hr later I was still waiting. When it was done, they had only cleaned the outside and hoovered the removable carpets in which they had broken a clip. I had to go back in to show someone and have a new clip fitted. From arriving at the dealer at 3.30 I was very frustrating to be leaving at 5!

Renault Leicester were amazing the car was purchased from Renault Hendy in Brighton we noticed a couple of weeks later that the bumper was out of line and they washed there hands of it and only suggested we driver all the way back to Brighton so they could look at the car. There after sales service was appalling - to the extent that our faith in Renault was squashed you can take pride in your Leicester team are amazing

Having been used to having our other car picked up by Sturgess we were surprised to be told that this was not possible. When we originally bought the car the salesman said he thought something could be arranged although we lived some distance away. No courtesy car was available for some time so we ended up making six journeys involving two cars into Leicester. As it was a fault with a new car we expected a quicker appointment. When arriving two large transporters were by the entrance making it difficult to get off the road and as there was no parking space when we got in, the car had to be left in a vulnerable no parking space. Only one person was at the desk when we arrived and he was dealing with a customer. He was very good WHEN he became free.The work done on the reversing sensors was successful but as the locking problem had only happened once this could not be dealt with. I hope that this has been recorded in case it happens again when the car is older.


My car was returned for an exchange with a Nissan Qashqai on the motability scheme. Alvin has looked after me as usual and the change over was smooth with no issues

Although staff are very friendly and reliable, this particular Renault garage, is of my opinion, let down in 2 aspects. 1st. being- lack of customer parking. Spaces mostly taken by vehicles taken by cars/vans belonging to Garage, and those available being very narrow leaving insufficient room to open doors/ or manouvre 2nd- online booking process could be better, regarding booking times and actual cost of service. Not the price quoted and no actual booking time

My only problem with Renault Leicester is finding somewhere to park, this time I parked in MOT only (though having a seat base replaced), two weeks ago I parked in Disabled ( though not disabled)


Told Renault last year when car few weeks old stitching coming undone on drivers seat. Was told to leave till service - 1 year later!! Booked the car in a month before service told them again about seat. Was told they needed to reorder and car would have to go in again. Weeks later - still not heard from them.


When walking into the garage it's hard to tell where the service reception is - the people at the reception were very friendly but when I walked in I wasn't asked what I was there for so couldn't be guided to the correct area. Not this time but a previous time when I had my MOT I was called before hand (the way that the voicemail was worded I thought there was an issue with my appointment) but it was a sales call! Didn't really need this, definitely wasn't interested in buying a new car. Other than those two small things I think the Leicester garage is great! :)

Quick and efficient servicing of my vehicle. Collections was delayed as service staff were busy for over 25 minutes.


There were no problems with Renault Leicester but there were with the booking in system. Leics were expecting me at 9.30 but i booked for 1.30 and had confirmation email for that time consequently they were obliged to fit me in but i had to wait a long time.

Excellent Service all round. Only one small error. My driver side mat was not hooked back into place, which made the mat slip forward catching on the pedals. I thought I had a problem with the clutch and brake until I realised what the problem was.

It was ok and everything was done on time


I took my car in as all front lights apart from one had blown. The weather was horrendous minus 8 - snow blizzard in afternoon and the garage was so busy but said to leave my car with them. I returned at 5pm and by 5.45pm they had managed to replace bulbs and also completed a vehicle health check for when it has a service this week.


The work was done straight away so I waited and did not use the courtesy car which was booked for me . Very pleased

The nav system (tom tom) is .not explained clear enough, that too get updates, it will cost 50 pounds per year. When you can buy with unlimited updated from halfords for much less. Your updates need to be priced at a reasonable yearly cost, not a rip off price. This has left a bad taste in the mouth, we would recommend but warn others of this basic feature, which is great but is costly.

Unfortunately shortly after collecting the vehicle the satellite navigation and radio ceased to operate. I then had to take the car to Tiverton (our local garage) one hour away and it was found that it needed an SD update to the system. I understand that this should have been carried out by yourselves at the preinspection check. I have reported this back to Richard Parrott who was looking into the matter but as yet not got back to me. Overall I am very pleased with the comfort and performance of the car.

Only one lissue we had we travelled to Chester on Wednesday 2/3 the weather was really terrible and the water in the wind screen wipers ran out we were on the motorway so we had to travel several miles with a really dirty windscreen that we couldn't see out which was quite dangerous so just a request to check the water is full when handing a car over. Elliott was really helpful and answered all our questions.

Would like to have more of a detailed explanation of the 'Media System' from the radio, to the phone and the SatNav. I appreciate that this would be time consuming but we have spent a lot of time since bringing the car home trying to work out how to use it all.

I bought my car over the phone I have driven Captur's before and fell in love with the signature . Craig was more than helpful and did an excellent job of getting it delivered to me 2 days after I bought it . It is the 1st time I have bought a Renault and would recommend Leicester as a excellent sales room . It would of been nice to of found a Renault fleece in the boot as I bought cash

Why would you hand over a car that had no fuel in it? I literally had to go straight to the nearest petrol station. I felt that this showed lack of customer care and courtesy. Although staff were very friendly I am not sure if I would recommend you to a friend as my daughter got a much better deal from another company.

Should the vehicle have had a pre delivery check over? I'm having to take my car back to the garage on Dec 14th to get a dodgy Eco switch sorted, and the LED day lights and front fog lights that don't work. When I booked the car in I asked the service department to check ALL switches, lights, and any other functions that are car that SHOULD be working. Hopefully that will be done! Other than that, the service that I have received (to date!) has been great

Very happy with overall experience and the car. I'd comment however, that the quality of the valet was not what I'd call excellent, as the alloys were not cleaned (other than a superficial wash) and a small scuff is on the left wing which I know was not there when I inspected the vehicle. I cannot now prove how that happened of course, but I believe it was part of the valet.

Does this constitute the extent of your required feedback? I want to know why Renault consider it acceptable to provide a sat nav system that consists of half the postcode For FS it's inferior to TomTom or any other AND THEN when you you go online to update the system it's about as intuitive as a dyslexic twat. Get your bloody act together and reply to me to explain how I get the sat nav to see both parts of a post code and direct me accordingly.. It's not rocket science but Reneoult is delivering a sub standard product. End of.!!!!!!!

The car was supposedly safety checked by the service dept but I suffered some basic issues taking the car home. Ten minutes after leaving the garage the tyre pressure monitoring alarm went off. when the tyres were checked the front passenger tyre was over inflated and the rear passenger tyre was down to 22 psi. After a further 30 miles the oil oil level alarm came in. Again this was topped up as the level was at the low level on the dip stick. Upon inspection of the car a couple of days later I noticed the passenger side sill was damaged due to the jack crushing it when the front wheels changed out. The air conditioning does not work as is booked into a local Renault for repair. If this is what you call service I would doubt if Leicester Renault is fit to be an agent. Please feel free to forward this survey to Renault UK.

Maybe need to quality check cars - some lose trim around the front wheel arch needs attention, but couldn't be fixed during handover - it may be down to "Renault built quality" - but could have been sorted on a new car.
