The purchase of our new vehicle was very smooth and quick and very impressed with the speed of production and delivery. Ryan was always very helpful at answering our queries whilst we were making the decision over the car.


The car took too long to get here, during the process I never got the option to choose my number plate even though I was told I would get these emailed to me. When I returned to the dealer to sign documents the car was already there with plates on. There was too many delays due to staff holidays, training and sickness which meant the handover of the car was put back. When I finally came to collect it, the roof was scratched and I was told this would be sorted within that week. The car was collected the following week to be repaired but I then received a call saying it couldn’t that day and was being returned to me. This added numerous miles onto my new car and the problem is still not repaired. Then to top it off I’ve been hounded throughout, about this survey and scoring to the point I’ve been emailed asking me to only score above 8s... I cannot score anything better than I have because of all the issues and the fact my new car is still not how it should be.

We were really pleased with the overall service provided by Renault Leicester and in particular Chris Brewin the salesperson.


The only problems I had were that I was origanly informed I could get 0 percent Interest then just before getting the car was informed this was no longer possible. Also I originally did not want the Gap insurance and this shows on my order, I received a phone call saying I ordered it and needed to pay £369 which I did over the phone, this is not a problem as it looks a reasonable deal but feel a little bit puzzled over this matter

I was made to feel very welcome throughout the purchasing process. The GM sent me a personalised video to say thank you for my order placement, which I thought was a really nice touch. On arrival to collect the car, my new car had my name on a small placard on a stand next to the car, which my wife and I really appreciated. I had several queries (by email) from order placement to vehicle collection. Chris Brewin dealt with each query swiftly, accurately and positively. I can quite honestly say that it has been my best experience so far for the purchase of a new vehicle. (I have always bought new vehicles during the past 25+ years).

I think the charging and invoicing system is not as clear as it could be. The Renault central booking control appears to be impersonal and disconnected from the centre where the work is carried out. Is it even in the UK?

I had to continuously contact renault for updates over the 3/4 weeks they had my vehical in for repair. My van was scratched while it was there and had to be repaired. Since having the vehical back, two of the original issues have not been fixed and are still a problem.

Guys in the garage were brilliant


The comunication from the serice centre was very poor during the period that my vehicle was in for repair. I was told the repair would take around 4/5 days, the repair took 18 days. This would not have been a problem but the ony way I knew about the progress of the repair was my making multiple phone calls to the service bay, I was never once contacted about the delays encounterd. As far as I am aware the repair work has been completed to a good standard, but the comunication was very lacking.

I don't like having to go to garages as a woman but found the experience a very positive one and not intimidating in what I consider to be a very male dominated environment. I especially liked the veichle health check video sent to my phone. Overall extremely happy with the service.

Service desk are so friendly and welcoming. However, I had a cold call from same day trying to get me to upgrade my car, this person was going to ring me the next day with more details and figures (Rhys) week later still not heard anything from him.


Our other vehicle is motability and we are always looked after really well.


I was pleased to receive a video showing what was happening to my car, by the actual mechanic working on it. The two phone messages each duly arrived as promised, so I was aware of how the work was progressing at all times. The work took less time than I had expected.


Renault Leicester fairly assessed damage to interior side of the windscreen behind rear view mirror and offered to replace under warranty.


The courtesy car was an absolute disgrace. It smelt so bad that we had to drive with the window open. It's was filthy inside. When I mentioned it to the dealership they couldn't have cared less. When I booked the service I was told that I could have the courtesy car until Sat lunchtime the next day. This was changed when I arrived to collect the car. I was told that I would get my vehicle valeted. They just gave it a quick flick around with the hoover. This was not a valet! I think the whole experience reflected very badly on the dealership and was a missed opportunity to display their reputation and showcase their fleet range for the next time we were thinking of changing the car. I will not be returning.

He was very patient and kind ( think he may have been called Phil ) I was a bit worried how I would deal with it but he made it a lot easier for me, thanks

When I took my van in to check the engine injection system warning light the girl asked me if I would like anything else done so I said can you give it a service. I thought it would be free as it was still under warranty and was not told it cost me £169 which I didnt find out until after. Whether this is naivety on my part or lack of information on your part but I think I should of been told beforehand. Also when I arrived to collect my van 15 minutes after I was contacted there was nobody there to give me my keys as everybody had gone home. So I then had wait until the next morning which made me late for work the next day

I had recently bought the car from Renault Leicester ( a thoroughly good experience!) but it did require a minor electrical a 'fix', duly completely! I really did not expect any follow-up contact from the dealer. My only problem (hence 9 rather than 10 in one answer) is the long distance from home to the dealer!

My car came in for a seatbelt sensor replacement. This was mentioned when car came in for a service. The fault was identified, but part needed to be ordered. I had to wait another month for appointment, then when it was stripped down all the parts were not ordered, so had to wait another week. When it was repaired, the car sill was scratched when the mechanic took the wrong seat out. I am still waiting for somebody to call me to paint the sill. First Renault i have had. Not happy with aftercare.

I felt i was fobbed off with excuses, my vehicle was due for service but was told the M.O.T was nearly due so both could be done together, but instead were done seperately also, there was a problem with the locking system, the vehicle was returned due to locking system still faulty, I use a mobility scooter, and was told most people are standing when shutting the door as I am sitting perhaps I did not shut it properly, I have had this vehicle for 71/2 years, if it was unsuitable why would I keep it so long? the truth costs nothing but earns respect.

I had 2 problems following my recent service. Firstly, the daytime light bulb (offside) had not been working & this was not noticed or rectified. Secondly, I rang 2 Days later to also mention the tyre pressures on the health check were not the same as those shown on the service sheet. And comparing them with my last Service in October 2016, one had actually gone up & one was the same. Whilst these may have been fairly trivial matters, they demonstrated a sloppy standard of work. In addition, last week I had a puncture in my OSF tyre. When it was replaced, the engineer showed me the NSF tyre pressure was only 2ml whilst both readings during my service showed 5ml. I spoke to Ian 2 Days after the service after failing to get through on the next day & after a long wait on the 2nd day before the phone was answered. He offered to replace the light bulb for & check the tyre pressures if I brought the car back. As the dealership is out of my way, I declined. All in all, if I didn't have one MOT & 1 further service on a service plan, I would be taking my car elsewhere.

My car I collected in July 2017 has had various teething problems but Renault Leicester have always looked at this and resolved any issues. Was just disappointed that a brand new car could have issues. This visit was the 5th time I had taken my car for various reasons but always happy with the service I received.


Driving home after the service there was a rattling noise from the engine compartment , on investigation the yellow window washer top had been completely removed and not replaced properly causing the rattle, it makes me wonder what else had been removed and not replaced properly.


I took my car in as there was a product recall for a potential thermal incident which I took to be euphemism for bursting into flames.As far as I know the matter was resolved

I pointed out that my Satnav after the last update had wiped out my favourites and that when the screen was on the speed limit signs have disappeared, I contacted the software people and they said it was a hardware problem and the garage suggested I leave the car with them for 2 days which really is very inconvenient. I still maintain that the problem is a software problems so am now stuck with knowing what to do???

I have been taking my car to Renault Leicester for some years now and the service has been excellent particularly since there has been people on reception who obviously have had a lot of experience on the technical side and are able to discuss any problems.


Most friendly staff in all departments that I have been in contact with. Service and any work carried out has been superb. I would not hesitate to recommend.


There was nowhere to park when I arrived. I had booked my service online, but it had been deleted by someone, so I did not have a booking. This was resolved satisfactorily, but it should not have happened in the first place


I brought my car in for service and waited for it. They dealt with it well and sent me a video to show what they had done.


There were no staff in the dealership when I arrived, I had to ask a member of staff in the Nissan dealership if they knew where I could find a member of staff. There was no clear signage to show customers where the Service Desk is situated

I booked online for the collect and deliver my car, but the slot I booked 'was not available, please ring to arrange alternative'. If you have an online service MAKE IT WORK FULLY, OR DONT BOTHER - DONT OFFER DATES THAT ARE NOT AVAILABILE. If I'd wanted to ring I'd have done that in the first place. I asked for a rear door catch to be fixed. They tightened up the striker plate, but the intermittent problem is still there. The interior widscreen and rear window were not cleaned, and the boot interior was not cleaned. Staff were friendly and professional.


Issue was dipped headlamp not working. Replacement bulb did not solve the problem, which turned out to be a faulty connector. Had this been properly diagnosed at the time, the repair would have been trivial and quick. In the event, the vehicle was booked in a week later and kept for three days, necessitating a loan vehicle having to be brought down from Glasgow!

The only comment I would make is that I originally booked a 1:30 slot and was phoned a few days later requesting that I move it to an 8:30am slot instead (which I did but it was not ideal)

Overall satisfaction. However despite the booking being made some weeks in advance and the required parts being identified, the vehicle was not ready for collection until almost 5pm. This was due to the above parts not being available and had to be ordered and delivered that day. Inconvenient, could do better!

The main issue was that of the booking process. I was offered a while you wait service and told this would take 1 hour whilst booking over the phone. When I arrived at the garage I wasn't really welcomed (young chap) and told that it would take 1.5-2 hours. Obviously I had arranged this on my extended break at work due to being told it would be one hour. Usually I would book a hire car but the lead time advised for this was far too long in this case. Once I spoke to someone a bit more senior in the garage I was happy that they did everything they could do including having two mechanics working on it so that it was completed closer to the originally quoted time.

The fact that they quoted me £120 to change 2 brake pads after charging me £100 labour on a service i felt was very unfair when brake pads are around £25!! Also I never was asked or told about my car being cleaned after the service took place and I won't be having it again as it was cleaned very poorly and damaged my car. Overall expensive and no care taken


My car was ready for collection well before the forecast time & I was notified by phone very promptly. Both members of staff I dealt with were pleasant & efficient & explained the service results very easily & comprehensively.

I chose you Kadjar partly because of the built in sat nav it is completely unusable and in many places over two years out of date it shows roundabouts where there has not been one for two years and shows me during through a field where a new bypass has been for some time the only answer I got from Renault was "your software is up to date"and they cannot upgrade the sat nav because it would involve using my personal details,I defineatly will not use Renault again!

After they didn't fixed the mud flap issue during the service booking as it was supposed to be, they failed multiple occasions to return phone calls to me despite the fact I was keep calling for updates to find out how can I have the issue sorted. Because at the time I took the car after the 12000 miles service I've ordered a complete set of wheel arches and door protectors, I went down to them considering that few days earlier I received a phone call regarding these protectors saying they are ready for me. Getting there I've been informed that the Dacia Leicester retailer is unable to fit them on the car ( please note that there is no technical difference between fitting a mud flap or this protectors - they are all plastic accessories having designated fitting points in the car's body ). Although they've asked me to return next day to have the mud flap replaced at 12:30 as between 13:00-13:30 they are on break. Because of a medical emergency ( at 12:15 I got a phone call from my kid's school saying my boy is in the infirmary heavily bleeding ) I managed to get to Dacia Leicester at 13:10. I've been informed that I'll have to wait 20 minutes until the break is over which I understood and I've waited. I've waited until 14:15 and because nobody was telling me anything, I've asked the person at the Aftersale Reception desk, being informed that they are still looking for a solution/part in order to make that mud flap not to get detached again. Being bored I went outside to take some fresh air and I saw my car up to an elevator, but nobody working on it or being near it. When the people inside the garage saw me watching they closed the door so I came back inside. At 14:25 a man wearing working equipment ( I presume one of the mechanics ) came to me saying it will take 5-10 minutes more. At 14:40 another mechanic came to handover the keys to me and saying my car is outside and I can go. I've asked him then if they can give me some "papers" regarding what they exactly did on my car and he said they can't. So I went back to the Reception desk and another man ( not in working clothes ) said that he could eventually give me something but I have to wait again because they need to register a job in their system for what was done on my car. I said I'll wait. It took another 20 minutes. I left the Dacia's premises at 15:00 . In total, excluding those 20 minutes of lunch break, I've spent 1.5 hours to have one mud flap replaced. Regarding fitting the plastic protectors for the doors and wheel arches which I've bought from them ( Dacia Leicester ) I was told to either install them myself or go to any other private third party bodyshop garage to have them fitted. I thought then that it is something like you fit a wheel drive cover, something straight forward, but when I got home and opened the box, reading the instructions included, I saw that I need at least a certain temperature range ( >21 Celsius ) and other specific tools and sealings. So I called Dacia UK, and after more than 2 hours spent on the phone, I've been informed that there are no Dacia retailers in the UK able to fit these accessories and I will have to go to a private bodyshop . These is, honestly, the worse customer service I ever had for a car ( I own 5 cars at the moment ). At this moment I am just stunned and I can't believe what's happening.


All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. I have confidence in the work and have had no problems,but they always stress that anything I'm worried about to come back, very reassuring.

Tele marketing in Manchester phoning in normal work time not good.Service reception always go for their easy time be ready the end of morning or 5pm instead if a precise time an hour job so would you like to collect 3 4 5 6? As last visit of 4 servuces asked to make sure all stamps were in book - not done.Hand brake didn't seem to been adjusted. We did like the video of underneath and legal tyre depths.


Renault Leicester fine. Renault UK appalling. Basically told a 7 year old car with 125k miles was excessive! There seem to be many more Renaults on the road older than 7 years and nobody informed us the cars were not capable of completing more than 100k miles without falling to pieces in a very expensive fashion. Untold amount of repairs for this vehicle and a very poor reflection from a £40k plus car from Renault UK who simply washed their hands of it, including ignoring history of poor quality vehicle.

Since I bought my car i have used Renault leicester every time I have had a service and my first mot .. I think the service team and workshop do I great job for a good price and I would recommend them to anyone .. many thanks to everyone and see you all soon .


From reception through the to collection everything was perfect


We are happy with the service given. Larger parking area is needed and for us,not used to driving in the city and living some distance away, getting to Renault Leicester is stressful and takes some time.

Car went in as a breakdown and courtesy car provided by Z.E. services quickly. After testing at the service centre no fault could be found regarding breakdown but rear blue badge was replaced as requested.

The courtesy of staff was excellent and I can't praise them highly enough.


The single biggest problem I have is not been given a time slot to have my car serviced. I'm quite happy to sit and wait while my car is being serviced. Wasting a while day and having a courtesy car is no help to me.


I reported that the passenger door speaker was rattling. No fix and no mention of it. Also having to pay £185 to recharge the HVAC system on a car that is only 2 years old is scandalous. RRG seem no better than my local dealership (Evans Halshaw).

I needed to do some work while waiting for my car. Because the waiting area tables were so low, one of the sales folks very kindly allowed me to use the end of his desk to work on my laptop of the duration of my wait. It was very kind of him to share and it made my visit all the better for our chat. Thanks!


The repair was good .but they need to take more car making sure they put things back the way they were ie switches which had been put back wrong and fuses blown .finally take your rubbish out ie plastic seat covers and paper mats


Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Work was done very quickly and car was very clean upon collection.


In your report it stated the sensors were switched off, how as I do not know where to do this, now it came in to you earlier this year and I presume you switched them off hence you had to have it back again. These things really should be checked before they leave the service area.

The person we where dealing with was ignorant, spoke over me all the time, did not want to listen to what I had to say. After all where has the customer service gone this individual should not be dealing with customers.


Routine service. Software update. Both completed very satisfactorily. Car valeted to an excellent standard.


I took out a 4 year service contract on purchase. This was not recognised at the service desk and I had to take some docs to prove I was covered. Then I had to wait whilst my contract was verified. The young lad on the service desk didn't give two hoots despite knowing that I had had problems before. Not very happy with the service I received.


This was a warrenty issue where I felt there was a fault in the R-Link on my new car. The module for ECO driving was missing. On the first day I left the car the wrong work requirement was put on the work sheet and the day was a waste. When I collected the car I was told that anothe new petrol car with similar R-Link had arrived and this also had no ECO module. The suggestion was that new petrol cars (2017 model Captur) with R-link did not have the module as standard. I was however told that the master technician had queried Renault and was awaiting a reply. I contacted another dealer and they also agreed that what I required was in the original specification and would also persue the matter if I asked them to. Fortunately Renault Leicester rang on the same day and said they had a reply from Renault and would I take the car in again and they would apply the programme sent by Renault. As it turned out this did on this occassion resolve the issue. There has been no follow up from the garage since the work was done.


You make an appointment; agree a time, service dept should be waiting to welcome you, have your courtesy car ready and checked it was safe to use and not have a puncture warning light on....! Thank goodness for the professional guy from Nissan to sort alternative car when spotting I had returned and was waiting for ages.... plus you need to move the leicester site, you need to offer space to customers!!!!

if you offer to clean the car as part of the service then a proper job should be done water marks visible on paint work,door sills no cleaned and internal clean was poor only vacuumed mats not under or around and dash not cleaned,clean seemed a bit rushed


The service recieved was excellant, and the car was finished in a reasonable time, and you could sit and wait in the waiting area with no hassel.

The nav system (tom tom) is .not explained clear enough, that too get updates, it will cost 50 pounds per year. When you can buy with unlimited updated from halfords for much less. Your updates need to be priced at a reasonable yearly cost, not a rip off price. This has left a bad taste in the mouth, we would recommend but warn others of this basic feature, which is great but is costly.

Unfortunately shortly after collecting the vehicle the satellite navigation and radio ceased to operate. I then had to take the car to Tiverton (our local garage) one hour away and it was found that it needed an SD update to the system. I understand that this should have been carried out by yourselves at the preinspection check. I have reported this back to Richard Parrott who was looking into the matter but as yet not got back to me. Overall I am very pleased with the comfort and performance of the car.

Only one lissue we had we travelled to Chester on Wednesday 2/3 the weather was really terrible and the water in the wind screen wipers ran out we were on the motorway so we had to travel several miles with a really dirty windscreen that we couldn't see out which was quite dangerous so just a request to check the water is full when handing a car over. Elliott was really helpful and answered all our questions.

Why would you hand over a car that had no fuel in it? I literally had to go straight to the nearest petrol station. I felt that this showed lack of customer care and courtesy. Although staff were very friendly I am not sure if I would recommend you to a friend as my daughter got a much better deal from another company.

Should the vehicle have had a pre delivery check over? I'm having to take my car back to the garage on Dec 14th to get a dodgy Eco switch sorted, and the LED day lights and front fog lights that don't work. When I booked the car in I asked the service department to check ALL switches, lights, and any other functions that are car that SHOULD be working. Hopefully that will be done! Other than that, the service that I have received (to date!) has been great

Very happy with overall experience and the car. I'd comment however, that the quality of the valet was not what I'd call excellent, as the alloys were not cleaned (other than a superficial wash) and a small scuff is on the left wing which I know was not there when I inspected the vehicle. I cannot now prove how that happened of course, but I believe it was part of the valet.

Does this constitute the extent of your required feedback? I want to know why Renault consider it acceptable to provide a sat nav system that consists of half the postcode For FS it's inferior to TomTom or any other AND THEN when you you go online to update the system it's about as intuitive as a dyslexic twat. Get your bloody act together and reply to me to explain how I get the sat nav to see both parts of a post code and direct me accordingly.. It's not rocket science but Reneoult is delivering a sub standard product. End of.!!!!!!!

The car was supposedly safety checked by the service dept but I suffered some basic issues taking the car home. Ten minutes after leaving the garage the tyre pressure monitoring alarm went off. when the tyres were checked the front passenger tyre was over inflated and the rear passenger tyre was down to 22 psi. After a further 30 miles the oil oil level alarm came in. Again this was topped up as the level was at the low level on the dip stick. Upon inspection of the car a couple of days later I noticed the passenger side sill was damaged due to the jack crushing it when the front wheels changed out. The air conditioning does not work as is booked into a local Renault for repair. If this is what you call service I would doubt if Leicester Renault is fit to be an agent. Please feel free to forward this survey to Renault UK.

Maybe need to quality check cars - some lose trim around the front wheel arch needs attention, but couldn't be fixed during handover - it may be down to "Renault built quality" - but could have been sorted on a new car.
