The purchase of our new vehicle was very smooth and quick and very impressed with the speed of production and delivery. Ryan was always very helpful at answering our queries whilst we were making the decision over the car.


The car took too long to get here, during the process I never got the option to choose my number plate even though I was told I would get these emailed to me. When I returned to the dealer to sign documents the car was already there with plates on. There was too many delays due to staff holidays, training and sickness which meant the handover of the car was put back. When I finally came to collect it, the roof was scratched and I was told this would be sorted within that week. The car was collected the following week to be repaired but I then received a call saying it couldn’t that day and was being returned to me. This added numerous miles onto my new car and the problem is still not repaired. Then to top it off I’ve been hounded throughout, about this survey and scoring to the point I’ve been emailed asking me to only score above 8s... I cannot score anything better than I have because of all the issues and the fact my new car is still not how it should be.

The link sent (via email) to view the cars' health check did not work.<br/>Overall I have always been satisfied with my experience at Renault Leicester which is why I have returned year on year for many years. The service is always friendly polite yet professional. However recently there has been a reduction in follow-up contact when I have bought a new car; not sure why!!. At least one if not two follow-up telephone calls would add to the quality of service given.

the cost is to high £400 for a new cam belt. I have been a Renault customer over 20years.


Firstly, the survey is rigged as won't let you add a score of 7 or less. This needs addressing to get a fair opinion survey result. Secondly, the car was not give a full service and inspected thoroughly as the brake light was faulty prior to and after inspection. It was not an intermittent issue.


The service was completed to my satisfaction without any complications, car was cleaned inside and out and the work was carried out in a very timely manner. There are two little issues one is that I did not have any notification that the service was due except for dashboard warning light, and the other is that there never appears to be a car to use while the car is having the service without a lengthy wait ie 2-3 weeks.Other than that perfectly happy.

Even though we booked a service and mot on arrival no appointment had been made.service reception said no record of booking yet this was done through your customer service at Orpington. We was booked in at Leicester finally and service and mot completed. Why do we bother to use this service, my car since purchase as only been serviced at Renault Leicester so why the confusion.


Just one small problem with the car radio can you please return to the station it was on when I brought the car in for a service thats all but very satisfied with the service from Renault.


Wpuld like to supply mt own oil, my son sells it in the Uk, I was told this was not allowed, YET my husband was allowed to supply his, for the service of his Qashqai at the same garage<br/>This c an reduce the cost of service by up to £30


No issues to report - everything went to plan - including scope and cost.


Very frustrating when ou receive a call to come and pick it up, being told that car was ready and about to be cleaned. Upon arriving 2/3hrs later, the car was not cleaned. I was told i could wait 1hr later I was still waiting. When it was done, they had only cleaned the outside and hoovered the removable carpets in which they had broken a clip. I had to go back in to show someone and have a new clip fitted. From arriving at the dealer at 3.30 I was very frustrating to be leaving at 5!

Renault Leicester were amazing the car was purchased from Renault Hendy in Brighton we noticed a couple of weeks later that the bumper was out of line and they washed there hands of it and only suggested we driver all the way back to Brighton so they could look at the car. There after sales service was appalling - to the extent that our faith in Renault was squashed you can take pride in your Leicester team are amazing

When walking into the garage it's hard to tell where the service reception is - the people at the reception were very friendly but when I walked in I wasn't asked what I was there for so couldn't be guided to the correct area. <br/><br/>Not this time but a previous time when I had my MOT I was called before hand (the way that the voicemail was worded I thought there was an issue with my appointment) but it was a sales call! Didn't really need this, definitely wasn't interested in buying a new car. <br/><br/>Other than those two small things I think the Leicester garage is great! :)

My only problem with Renault Leicester is finding somewhere to park, this time I parked in MOT only (though having a seat base replaced), two weeks ago I parked in Disabled ( though not disabled)

There were no problems with Renault Leicester but there were with the booking in system. Leics were expecting me at 9.30 but i booked for 1.30 and had confirmation email for that time consequently they were obliged to fit me in but i had to wait a long time.

Excellent Service all round. Only one small error. My driver side mat was not hooked back into place, which made the mat slip forward catching on the pedals. I thought I had a problem with the clutch and brake until I realised what the problem was.

I took my car in as all front lights apart from one had blown. The weather was horrendous minus 8 - snow blizzard in afternoon and the garage was so busy but said to leave my car with them. I returned at 5pm and by 5.45pm they had managed to replace bulbs and also completed a vehicle health check for when it has a service this week.

The service department was great as always particularly because I have a waiting appointment due to not living in the area. Which as I sit in the showroom generally for the duration of the service I observe interactions with the new car sales team and I have to say I would be reluctant to drive the 30 minutes I usually do bypassing a Renault dealer closer to where I live to purchase another new car in Leicester. This is due to me observing a number of customers walking into the showroom, walking around looking at cars and then walking out again as there was no interaction from staff. Probably not a big thing but a little acknowledgement goes a long way in the experience of purchasing a new car.

On dropping the car off at the dealer, i waited a long time to been seen even though over staff were present. Granted it was at roughly 8:00 in the morning but u felt i was ignored. <br/>On handing my keys over i was not offered my courtesy car that had been booked a month previous, i had emails confirming the booking but there was no record of it. However they did manage to get me a car so that was sorted.<br/>On picking the car up i was at the dealers for over 1 Hour. Firstly it took ages to been seen to, then when i was seen to i got passed around, and due to this no one got my invoice sorted, (i could have walked out of the dealer without paying it was that disorganised). When i was finally handed the keys i got passed around again and after a further 20 mins wait i got my invoice printed. A this point i was then offered to have my car washed. Bare in mind that i had been in the dealers for over an hour, and just as i am about to leave i get offered to have the car washed. I declined the offer as i didn't know how long it would take them to find someone to wash the car that was probably currently on their brake, and i had to go and pick my son up from school where at this point as was most likely late to pick him up due to the faff on from all the staff at the dealers, who didn't seem to know what day of the week it was, or maybe they did as it was Friday and they just wanted to get off.<br/>So all in all not a great experience and one that i hope i will not have to endure again as i will be giving the car back before the next service is due.

There was a young person, obviously been trained at Renault. He was very welcoming, the only thing was, he did not ask myself or my husband to take a seat, whilst sorting out the paperwork. I am very satisfied by the courtesy and kindness of your staff at the front office. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the attention used by the staff at the garage.<br/><br/>I brought my car because of an issue at the heating system (I suspected mechanical, but I'm not a mechanic at all) and from the garage they manage with my great satisfaction to restore a minimum level of working even if a component needed a change and thus it has been ordered from the supplier.<br/><br/>I took back the car to the garage to install the component and when I came back to collect my car I have been told that the horn was not working too and that they were not sure if it was their fault or not (I barely use the horn, I didn't know and actually didn't care at that moment).<br/><br/>Driving back home I noticed that the speed limiter and the cruise control were not working and that the heating was not working as expected (little difference from the day before). The speed limiter and the cruise control were working when I took the car at the garage the morning itself, so I was a little upset, even because I was planning a long journey for the next week end.<br/><br/>I managed to have a check after two day and they told me that the heating, the cruise control and the speed limiter were not working or not working properly because a switch was defective (I beg your pardon if I'm not precise or use an incorrect terminology).<br/><br/>I appreciate that all the repairs are totally covered by the warranty, but after three visits and 6 journey with the taxi (the £5 contribute covers one fourth of the two journeys expenses to and from my office) I'm still waiting to have a perfectly working heating and I have three new issues waiting to be fixed.


My vehicle was collected and delivered back to me when they finally found my address at lunch time. The lady who collected my vehicle was lovely and said she would return my vehicle by 5pm which she did. The only disappointing thing was after having many clios on leasehire in Wigan I have never had to pay for a service. This is the first clio I have had since returning to Leicester and was surprised that I had to pay even though I asked for a car on exactly the same terms.


My car was taking some time to start and struggling on some mornings which I pointed out and it's still the same.

I had to continuously contact renault for updates over the 3/4 weeks they had my vehical in for repair. My van was scratched while it was there and had to be repaired. Since having the vehical back, two of the original issues have not been fixed and are still a problem.


The workshop is obviously doing its best but it seems the Kadjar has inbuilt electrical problems I will just have to put up with the car until my lease runs out

Guys in the garage were brilliant


The comunication from the serice centre was very poor during the period that my vehicle was in for repair.<br/><br/>I was told the repair would take around 4/5 days, the repair took 18 days. This would not have been a problem but the ony way I knew about the progress of the repair was my making multiple phone calls to the service bay, I was never once contacted about the delays encounterd.<br/><br/>As far as I am aware the repair work has been completed to a good standard, but the comunication was very lacking.

Service desk are so friendly and welcoming. <br/><br/>However, I had a cold call from same day trying to get me to upgrade my car, this person was going to ring me the next day with more details and figures (Rhys) week later still not heard anything from him.


The courtesy car was an absolute disgrace. It smelt so bad that we had to drive with the window open. It's was filthy inside. When I mentioned it to the dealership they couldn't have cared less. <br/>When I booked the service I was told that I could have the courtesy car until Sat lunchtime the next day. This was changed when I arrived to collect the car. <br/>I was told that I would get my vehicle valeted. They just gave it a quick flick around with the hoover. This was not a valet!<br/>I think the whole experience reflected very badly on the dealership and was a missed opportunity to display their reputation and showcase their fleet range for the next time we were thinking of changing the car. <br/>I will not be returning.


Renault Leicester fairly assessed damage to interior side of the windscreen behind rear view mirror and offered to replace under warranty.

I was pleased to receive a video showing what was happening to my car, by the actual mechanic working on it. The two phone messages each duly arrived as promised, so I was aware of how the work was progressing at all times. The work took less time than I had expected.

The guy on the service desk is always really helpful. The work done on my car was fine and has fixed the problem . I am just appalled that someone would take something out a car that doesn’t belong to them and then not do much to help rectify and also just shun it off when there may be someone or something going wrong in the dealership

When I took my van in to check the engine injection system warning light the girl asked me if I would like anything else done so I said can you give it a service. I thought it would be free as it was still under warranty and was not told it cost me £169 which I didnt find out until after. Whether this is naivety on my part or lack of information on your part but I think I should of been told beforehand. Also when I arrived to collect my van 15 minutes after I was contacted there was nobody there to give me my keys as everybody had gone home. So I then had wait until the next morning which made me late for work the next day

I had recently bought the car from Renault Leicester ( a thoroughly good experience!) but it did require a minor electrical a 'fix', duly completely! I really did not expect any follow-up contact from the dealer. My only problem (hence 9 rather than 10 in one answer) is the long distance from home to the dealer!

My car came in for a seatbelt sensor replacement. This was mentioned when car came in for a service. The fault was identified, but part needed to be ordered. I had to wait another month for appointment, then when it was stripped down all the parts were not ordered, so had to wait another week. When it was repaired, the car sill was scratched when the mechanic took the wrong seat out. I am still waiting for somebody to call me to paint the sill. First Renault i have had. Not happy with aftercare.


I felt i was fobbed off with excuses, my vehicle was due for service but was told the M.O.T was nearly due so both could be done together, but instead were done seperately also, there was a problem with the locking system, the vehicle was returned due to locking system still faulty, I use a mobility scooter, and was told most people are standing when shutting the door as I am sitting perhaps I did not shut it properly, I have had this vehicle for 71/2 years, if it was unsuitable why would I keep it so long? the truth costs nothing but earns respect.


Friendly service on the desk but not very good service when booking the appointment, rather abrupt.


I would like the cost to be adjusted for a car only doing three thousand a yearend and getting less

I had 2 problems following my recent service. Firstly, the daytime light bulb (offside) had not been working & this was not noticed or rectified. Secondly, I rang 2 Days later to also mention the tyre pressures on the health check were not the same as those shown on the service sheet. And comparing them with my last Service in October 2016, one had actually gone up & one was the same.<br/>Whilst these may have been fairly trivial matters, they demonstrated a sloppy standard of work. In addition, last week I had a puncture in my OSF tyre. When it was replaced, the engineer showed me the NSF tyre pressure was only 2ml whilst both readings during my service showed 5ml.<br/>I spoke to Ian 2 Days after the service after failing to get through on the next day & after a long wait on the 2nd day before the phone was answered. He offered to replace the light bulb for & check the tyre pressures if I brought the car back. As the dealership is out of my way, I declined.<br/><br/>All in all, if I didn’t have one MOT & 1 further service on a service plan, I would be taking my car elsewhere.


Driving home after the service there was a rattling noise from the engine compartment , on investigation the yellow window washer top had been completely removed and not replaced properly causing the rattle, it makes me wonder what else had been removed and not replaced properly.


My car I collected in July 2017 has had various teething problems but Renault Leicester have always looked at this and resolved any issues. Was just disappointed that a brand new car could have issues. This visit was the 5th time I had taken my car for various reasons but always happy with the service I received.

I have been taking my car to Renault Leicester for some years now and the service has been excellent particularly since there has been people on reception <br/>who obviously have had a lot of experience on the technical side and are able to<br/>discuss any problems.

There was nowhere to park when I arrived. I had booked my service online, but it had been deleted by someone, so I did not have a booking. This was resolved satisfactorily, but it should not have happened in the first place


There were no staff in the dealership when I arrived, I had to ask a member of staff in the Nissan dealership if they knew where I could find a member of staff. There was no clear signage to show customers where the Service Desk is situated


I brought my car in for service and waited for it. They dealt with it well and sent me a video to show what they had done.

I booked online for the collect and deliver my car, but the slot I booked 'was not available, please ring to arrange alternative'. If you have an online service MAKE IT WORK FULLY, OR DONT BOTHER - DONT OFFER DATES THAT ARE NOT AVAILABILE. If I'd wanted to ring I'd have done that in the first place. I asked for a rear door catch to be fixed. They tightened up the striker plate, but the intermittent problem is still there. The interior widscreen and rear window were not cleaned, and the boot interior was not cleaned. Staff were friendly and professional.

Issue was dipped headlamp not working. Replacement bulb did not solve the problem, which turned out to be a faulty connector. Had this been properly diagnosed at the time, the repair would have been trivial and quick. In the event, the vehicle was booked in a week later and kept for three days, necessitating a loan vehicle having to be brought down from Glasgow!


The man knew I worked shifts so he left it as late as he could to ring me about something I'd asked them to look at, which I appreciated


The car was cleaned but they didn't Hoover the boot. My wife's car was also in for a service and the boot wasn't hoovered either.

The nav system &#40;tom tom&#41; is .not explained clear enough, that too get updates, it will cost 50 pounds per year. When you can buy with unlimited updated from halfords for much less. Your updates need to be priced at a reasonable yearly cost, not a rip off price. This has left a bad taste in the mouth, we would recommend but warn others of this basic feature, which is great but is costly.

Unfortunately shortly after collecting the vehicle the satellite navigation and radio ceased to operate. I then had to take the car to Tiverton (our local garage) one hour away and it was found that it needed an SD update to the system. I understand that this should have been carried out by yourselves at the preinspection check. I have reported this back to Richard Parrott who was looking into the matter but as yet not got back to me. Overall I am very pleased with the comfort and performance of the car.

Very pleased with my purchase except very disappointed with the fact that my car had no wheel nut covers,for a company the size of Renault these should be standard on all your cars.When my husband phoned to see why there were no nuts he got told it wasn't company practice to put them on there cars but he was more than welcome to buy some.Not a very forthcoming response from Renaul!!

Only one lissue we had we travelled to Chester on Wednesday 2/3 the weather was really terrible and the water in the wind screen wipers ran out we were on the motorway so we had to travel several miles with a really dirty windscreen that we couldn't see out which was quite dangerous so just a request to check the water is full when handing a car over. Elliott was really helpful and answered all our questions.

I bought my car over the phone I have driven Captur's before and fell in love with the signature . Craig was more than helpful and did an excellent job of getting it delivered to me 2 days after I bought it . It is the 1st time I have bought a Renault and would recommend Leicester as a excellent sales room . It would of been nice to of found a Renault fleece in the boot as I bought cash

Why would you hand over a car that had no fuel in it? I literally had to go straight to the nearest petrol station. I felt that this showed lack of customer care and courtesy. Although staff were very friendly I am not sure if I would recommend you to a friend as my daughter got a much better deal from another company.

Should the vehicle have had a pre delivery check over? I'm having to take my car back to the garage on Dec 14th to get a dodgy Eco switch sorted, and the LED day lights and front fog lights that don't work. When I booked the car in I asked the service department to check ALL switches, lights, and any other functions that are car that SHOULD be working. Hopefully that will be done! Other than that, the service that I have received (to date!) has been great

Very happy with overall experience and the car. I'd comment however, that the quality of the valet was not what I'd call excellent, as the alloys were not cleaned (other than a superficial wash) and a small scuff is on the left wing which I know was not there when I inspected the vehicle. I cannot now prove how that happened of course, but I believe it was part of the valet.

Does this constitute the extent of your required feedback? I want to know why Renault consider it acceptable to provide a sat nav system that consists of half the postcode For FS it's inferior to TomTom or any other AND THEN when you you go online to update the system it's about as intuitive as a dyslexic twat. Get your bloody act together and reply to me to explain how I get the sat nav to see both parts of a post code and direct me accordingly.. It's not rocket science but Reneoult is delivering a sub standard product. End of.!!!!!!!

The car was supposedly safety checked by the service dept but I suffered some basic issues taking the car home. Ten minutes after leaving the garage the tyre pressure monitoring alarm went off. when the tyres were checked the front passenger tyre was over inflated and the rear passenger tyre was down to 22 psi. After a further 30 miles the oil oil level alarm came in. Again this was topped up as the level was at the low level on the dip stick. Upon inspection of the car a couple of days later I noticed the passenger side sill was damaged due to the jack crushing it when the front wheels changed out. The air conditioning does not work as is booked into a local Renault for repair. If this is what you call service I would doubt if Leicester Renault is fit to be an agent. Please feel free to forward this survey to Renault UK.

Maybe need to quality check cars - some lose trim around the front wheel arch needs attention, but couldn't be fixed during handover - it may be down to "Renault built quality" - but could have been sorted on a new car.
