A little disappointed that the chip and dents on the car were not spotted and fixed before I came to collect it, however on saying that Rhyes and the whole team at Leicester were excellent at keeping me informed and getting the bumper fixed expediently.

I was unsure about buying a Renault at first due to some reviews and not knowing or seeing the brand around as much as others. After further research into good options for a first car I found that it was on the previous years list but I had never seen the newer Clios before and instantly liked the look of the car as it was different to the popular VW Polos and Fiesta. I went onto to visit Renault Leicester and talked over the car with the sales Manager who was a joy to talk to. In the end I returned for a test drive, where I ended up testing the model above mines. The sales executive Ryan was great! He answered and reassured me on anything I needed to know, quick replied and constant communication through the whole process and the level of customer service was very good. The video sent to me once the car was delivered was also a good touch, made me even more excited to get the car. The whole process and the people at Renault Leicester (minus a female receptionist who was very unhelpful once when I phoned) I am very happy with my decision and love me new car.

Ross made this one of the most enjoyable purchases ever. From the solid updates and the little touches which made me feel involved every step of the way. And the pick up day was super special with the big reveal, so much better than the usual here's your keys and there's your car I got from or garages.. It made bit only myself happy but it involved my family which was also great. I also appreciated the patience and facilities Ross offered for my children, I didn't feel like I had to keep rounding them up and could focus on the car purchasing when in the showroom. All in all Ross made the whole experience fantastic.. Good job!!!!

It was my experience before hand which was very poor, I had to book twice for a collection from my house, and made myself available for these, and no one came to collect. The first one later on in the day I called you to be told my car didn't need a service for a few months. The next one I was told on the day that it was too far for you to come. The third one I booked online I was told the request for the appointment hadn't gone through correctly. Everytime having to wait months Inbetween, and I would have to wait even longer for mobility options. Really bad communication and service.

The work the car got bought in for was not complete the stop start feature has not worked since i picked the car up and the boot lock worked only for one day and the reverse sensor camera had also stopped working after picking the car up so not very happy at all

When we bought our new car from Renault Leicester we checked and double checked that a courtesy car would always be available, or that there was a pick up service - when we came to book this work we were informed that a courtesy car is only available given 4 weeks notice - which is not what we were told prior to ordering the car. This was only resolved by resorting to Twitter! How can normal personal customers work to these type of timescales? Parking is always a problem at this dealership - never any space on arriving/ collection, and the spaces are incredibly narrow! While the head of service reception is always friendly and helpful, others working there need to learn how to treat customers as ...... customers!

4th service at 46000 miles but initially only two filters changed. On collection the service manager checked and advised further work should have been carried out which was then done but meant I had to wait a further hour or so. Although only 13000 miles covered since last service I would have thought oil should have been changed. This was a Renault 4 inclusive service plan but means now I will have to pay for an oil and filter change in the next few months when I have covered another 5000 miles.

If I want a replacement car or for someone to pick our car up, I have to book the car in for a service months in advance,why is that?? As we only have one car,we have to spend more money on taxis to get home then back to the garage again. Why can't the garage have more curtisy cars available for their customers? i book in for 23/6 the email I received said 22/6 so I tried to ring 5times to correct this I kept getting cut off eventually I spoke to someone 23/6 booked again when I arrived on 23rd the 22nd had been cancelled and I was not booked in for the 23rd I did leave the car for service and it was ready well before estamated time when checking the car in I had a few questions to ask about my car and I felt the person I spoke to fobed me off thank goodness the service went well.

It was a repair under warranty - door slide to be replaced. Part not in stock & put on order - no call to me when part arrived. I only found out part was available when I called to inquire why things were takings so long. No apology for not calling me. One week later I returned to have the work done. Six days later I had to return because door had fallen off hinge - initially they looked and said the other slide needed replacing and then noticed the loose bolts holding the hinge to the door. Bolts were tightened and door worked perfectly - I got no apology for the fault or having to return, just a sarcastic smile/grin.

Booked car in to have new brake discs and pads fitted and a MOT Told the person that all the discs (front and rear) were badly worn and needed replacing and that they needed to order the parts before I bought car in for repair. Day before car was due in Renault Leicester the dealer rang to remind me. I asked if the discs and parts had been ordered and was told no. The guy on the phone said they would order the parts straight away. I took the car in on the date and on arrival was told what work was going to be carried out. The guy said the front discs and pads were to be replaced. For the third time I said that all the discs and pads needed replacing. Later that day I received a phone call to say that they needed to order new bearings for the front discs and the car would not be ready that day. This was unacceptable because I knew that new bearings were required when fitting new discs, but it seems that Renault Leicester were not aware. Finally I collected the car the next day and the work had been carried out.

I am quite satisfied with the level of expertise and professionalism demonstrated by your staff. However, I found the cost of your services "extremely" expensive compared to what it cost to get the same level of service elsewhere (at another garage). In fact, I paid one-third of the cost I had spent for the services you provided (doing the same thing) elsewhere. How and why are you so astronomically expensive compared to other garages in Leicester? This shouldn't be the case; especially when you have direct access to 'parts' and the expertise required to do the Job. In all honesty, I think there is something wrong with the business model you are using for that department (service/repair).

Could not diagnose problem within the 1st years warranty. When AA diagnosed it and emailed details of problem Renault could not get me in till after 1st year warranty. They said AA could be wrong and if they were correct parts would have to be ordered.(why not get parts in the car was coming in to be sorted for) When I rang to chase up an update they said they needed to order parts and job would cost nearly œ500 . I said it was on warranty which they queried even though I provided original purchase document showing 2 years extended warranty. Said parts may arrive early next day but did not bother to say they had arrived. When I rung at lunch they had not checked. Said they would ring back and I had to check again . At 5pm that day they said car had gone for a test drive and could not say if car was ok till back from test drive.( unsure why you take a car out during rush hour and initially they said my sanders had gone on a test drive. bit I own a Duster.) They called back and said car was ok to pick up but too late that day as they were now closing. When collected car they said there was an issue with warranty. Not sure why as they had it in black and white on their photocopy from my purchase documents. I felt that problem could not be diagnosed till they thought warranty was out of date. They were told what codes were showing from diagnostic report and what AA said but could not get parts in. They do not ring back and always have to be chased. If there is another place in Leicester that service Dacia I would prefer to use them as customer service is near on none existant. Dacia should be aware that this company does not give a good impression of the quality of Dacia.

Booked lease car in for service. Had to wait a month to get a date as no loan cars available. Asked to check windscreen wiper blades as not clearing screen and approx 5 inches hanging off at bottom of driver side blade. When collected car was told that lease company would not authorise new blades. I contacted lease company re this with my concerns and ended up having to have AA out to change blades as they deemed them un safe. I feel this responsibility is joint between lease company and renault as it was very clear they were damaged but renault didnt relay to lease plan how damaged wipers were.

The nav system (tom tom) is .not explained clear enough, that too get updates, it will cost 50 pounds per year. When you can buy with unlimited updated from halfords for much less. Your updates need to be priced at a reasonable yearly cost, not a rip off price. This has left a bad taste in the mouth, we would recommend but warn others of this basic feature, which is great but is costly.

Unfortunately shortly after collecting the vehicle the satellite navigation and radio ceased to operate. I then had to take the car to Tiverton (our local garage) one hour away and it was found that it needed an SD update to the system. I understand that this should have been carried out by yourselves at the preinspection check. I have reported this back to Richard Parrott who was looking into the matter but as yet not got back to me. Overall I am very pleased with the comfort and performance of the car.

Only one lissue we had we travelled to Chester on Wednesday 2/3 the weather was really terrible and the water in the wind screen wipers ran out we were on the motorway so we had to travel several miles with a really dirty windscreen that we couldn't see out which was quite dangerous so just a request to check the water is full when handing a car over. Why would you hand over a car that had no fuel in it? I literally had to go straight to the nearest petrol station. I felt that this showed lack of customer care and courtesy. Should the vehicle have had a pre delivery check over? I'm having to take my car back to the garage on Dec 14th to get a dodgy Eco switch sorted, and the LED day lights and front fog lights that don't work. When I booked the car in I asked the service department to check ALL switches, lights, and any other functions that are car that SHOULD be working. Hopefully that will be done! Other than that, the service that I have received (to date!) has been great

Very happy with overall experience and the car. I'd comment however, that the quality of the valet was not what I'd call excellent, as the alloys were not cleaned (other than a superficial wash) and a small scuff is on the left wing which I know was not there when I inspected the vehicle. I cannot now prove how that happened of course, but I believe it was part of the valet.

Second car from you there in Leicester and I think fourth from the group - albeit the last one from Renault London was a poor transaction. Darren's a top bloke. I think we'll take you up on that G3 offer on the Clio (time was against us originally) - call me to set up when.

Does this constitute the extent of your required feedback? I want to know why Renault consider it acceptable to provide a sat nav system that consists of half the postcode For FS it's inferior to TomTom or any other AND THEN when you you go online to update the system it's about as intuitive as a dyslexic twat. Get your bloody act together and reply to me to explain how I get the sat nav to see both parts of a post code and direct me accordingly.. It's not rocket science but Reneoult is delivering a sub standard product. End of.!!!!!!!

The car was supposedly safety checked by the service dept but I suffered some basic issues taking the car home. Ten minutes after leaving the garage the tyre pressure monitoring alarm went off. when the tyres were checked the front passenger tyre was over inflated and the rear passenger tyre was down to 22 psi. After a further 30 miles the oil oil level alarm came in. Again this was topped up as the level was at the low level on the dip stick. Upon inspection of the car a couple of days later I noticed the passenger side sill was damaged due to the jack crushing it when the front wheels changed out. The air conditioning does not work as is booked into a local Renault for repair. If this is what you call service I would doubt if Leicester Renault is fit to be an agent. Maybe need to quality check cars - some lose trim around the front wheel arch needs attention, but couldn't be fixed during handover - it may be down to "Renault built quality" - but could have been sorted on a new car.
