it was good in the sense that I got what I asked for, however I did say my preference was for something a bit bigger and asked about the cost but was given one price which was unaffordable, no other options were forth coming. I have had the same kind of deal for a number of years but would have liked to have been guided through other options as I also said I would like to pay for the car after the four years and keep it this time. I feel the deal made was best for Renault and not for me. I like the car and may not have been able to afford something bigger but would have liked other payment options considered which I don't even know if there are any.inexperienced sales person

I have used Renault Coulsdon for the last 13 years. The staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. The constant bombardment of phone calls, texts and emails after a visit to the garage can be irritating - people lead busy lives and need a few days to reply. We do even sometimes go away and don't access email!!

My indicators have cut out several times. The problem resolves itself when you switch off the engine and restart the car. The gentleman I spoke to was rathe dismissive of this, although it can be quite dangerous when they suddenly stop working and you cannot indicate! Also I had paid for my deciding for 3 years up front and although u mentioned this when I booked it over the phone - the gentleman asked for payment when i collected the vehicle and implied I was at fault for not telling him - this made me question whether I received the same quality of service on my car!

I have been using Renault Croydon for about 11 years and this was by far my worst experience. Unfriendly staff, had to ring to see if car was ready (this is normal), car not cleaned properly. I also had a previous customer satisfaction survey from a phone call. The person I spoke to seemed only to be concerned with getting rid of me quickly and not interested in my experience, no apology or comment. The whole Renault Croydon experience has become too impersonal of late. Really disappointing.

My car broke down, whilst Halfords were fitting a dash cam. Renault assist would not come out as it was human error, but the message says you may be charged if it is human error. I paid œ200 to get it towed back from Bognor. The RAC came out and said that they have checked all the fuses and it is a common renault fault. Renault had my card for 3 days, to notice a "fuse was missing".œ200 out of pocket, Halfords removed a fuse and put it back, RAC said no fault found. Have been a returning regular customer for years, will not switch to ford, as also I did not like the new Megan's, so went with the capture, horrible to drive. Always had excellent service from Renault, but am now not happy.

I have received really excellent customer service from Carlos Lombardo, (senior customer advisor) at Coulsdon for many years. He is largely the reason I would not hesitate to buy another Renault.

I bought a Twingo in February this year and after a few month I noticed a load of rust on the wheels and the lining. As it was a preregistered Twingo and only had 20 miles on the clock, I was appalled about the sales person, Lewis Triplow, not pointing this out when I bought it. I complained about this and the business manager, Zachery Smith, told me that all the Renaults had rust on it and he pointed out that the new Renaults in the showroom had rust on the wheels. Thanks to the service advisor Joe Martin I had everything fixed. He was absolutely a star and very friendly and helpful. The sales department even didn't bother to look at the photos which were taken. Joe kept me in the picture all the time as he knew that I always looked after my car. This was my second Renault and Joe has always been very good and absolute a fantastic customer service advisor. Nothing other than fantastic. Hope he will stay with Renault for a very long time. If he ever leaves, I will follow him to another dealership if he would work at a dealership that is.

Carlos was very clear about what needed doing and what else he would recommend. He was polite and patient. We just realised that the prices that Renault quote are higher than local garages that offer these services. ie œ1200 for a clutch plus œ450 for a fly wheel if needed. I had to ask about the fly wheel as this was not mentioned when we were considering having the work done. We called 4 other garages who all quoted œ1200 including the fly wheel, stating that if this part didn't need replacing, it would come down in price by œ400.

I have a 66 plate car and had not expected to have any issues this early on (if ever) and the car has been back 3 times and now I anticipate having to come back again to solve the creaking plastic noises that have only happened since the repair. Needing an automatic courtesy car on this and the other occasions was problematic/imposible and it was only on this last visit that it actually happened. the car was far too low as I have a disability and I had asked for a high driving position. I feel let down and the though of having to go through all of this again fills me with dread.

Was phoned to say the van was ready, I went down to collect it, I paid the bill was given the invoice and checklist I noticed straight away everything was ticked, but had not put down the measurements of the brake pads/ discs which is on the checklist and after 25000 miles I am concerned they may have needed changing, it was stated in the invoice the van had been cleaned inside an out which it hadn't, when I did get in the van and started it up the first thing it said on the dash that it was due for a service in 400 miles. I had to go back in to the reception to get one of there mechanics to come out and reset the clock I feel that with all these little bits missed out makes me wonder if they did a proper service, or if they just ticked the boxes and billed me, I fill for a major company like yourselves this service is appalling

The answering service is slow, it rings and rings and I had to call several times, eventually it went to the general answering service and they asked the Croydon/Coulsdon garage to call me. Came to Renault Croydon last year after my local Renault dealer (Wilsons) were unable to fit a tow bar, Renault Coulsdon had no problems in supplying and fitting. After warning lights appeared I again went to Wilsons as I had a service contract but they refused to even look at my van, A quick call to Renault Coulsdon and my van was booked in and all works carried out well. I have now cancelled my service contract with Wilsons and Joe at Renault Coulsdon has sorted me out a service contract with you. Very happy with all aspects of your service, you've been great on the two visits I've made so I have no problem in recommending your services. Thank you

I arrived early and checked in at the reception, the young lady at the front of the reception then showed me to a seat in the waiting room and made me a cup of coffee and had a little chat. Half an hour later she returned to ask if I was ok and offered me another cup of coffee. When my car was ready the manager gave me my keys and gave me his card to contact him if I had any problems.

I was informed by the call centre that Renault Croydon would be open until 6.30pm but told when i arrived early am that they close at 6pm but try to leave 10 mins before then so i had to make last minute arrangements to leave work early to get there on time. I also asked wheb i arrived if the mechanics would look at my boot as it is not always opening. I assumed this had been done but it hasnt as the boot has in the last week been stuck shut & im not able to open it. Thirdly i was a bit takrn abavk when the mechaniv left me a voicemail saying my break pads needed replacing (fair enough as they did) but aldo i may need a new cambelt - it was replaced in the same renault garage only 2 years before. He really should have checked the records and or the belt nrvore saying that to me. Thanks Sue 07837813065

I have had multiple visits to the dealership for the same repeated faults. At one visit my car was damaged and had to have a replacement bumper installed as a result. A courtesy car was only provided after I complained about having to make repeated visits to the dealership. A trim piece has still not been fitted nor posted to me as requested 2 weeks ago for me to install and now the knocking exhaust has once again started to make a noise. I do not want to deal with this dealership again.

I had 2 cups of tea and left alone until my car was ready for cleaning. They then told me they were about to clean the car but this took some time as they told me my car had been blocked in by another vehicle. When finished I paid the bill. Once home I realised that they had not stamped my service book even though they had it the whole afternoon.

I dropped the car off at 8:15 and was asked when I would like to collect the car. I said 3pm he said it would be ready by then. I arrived at 3 and waited 20 minutes then was told it would be brought round the front in a minute. I got my car back at 15:40. I would have preferred honesty that it wasn't ready yet than to just be left waiting. The car was half valeted they hadn't finished washing it. I've always had a great experience before hence having 2 cars from them at present myself and husband both have a Renault from them as previously have always been really happy. I'm hoping it was just a one off as I know things happen at work maybe they had been very busy or short of staff that day

Booked service online. Emailed to book a collection from my home address and inform of service plan status. Car not collected on date. Called to find out why and the date had been changed from the one I booked. Re-booked. Car collected 30-60minutes late and I had to call to chase. Received call asking for payment despite informing in an email of my service plan. Have been Renault customer for years and this is the worst service to date. Disappointing.

I got a lovely welcome from the lady on reception she even remembered me and i had not seen her for nearly a year. I was kept informed by the Service Manager of the progress of the service work being done. The R link update took a little longer than they thought but that was not a problem for me. I do have to say though I've had fifteen new cars over the years but it's the first and only time that the oil and oil filter was not part of the service. Not good if a person dose mostly short trips. Other than that i was pleased with the experience.

I was fiven advice about booking my car in at a time that the dealership does not opperate. When doing the work i was told it would take 45 mins and it took more than 1.5 hours. Subsequently i was told it had taken the extra time because the car was cleaned but i had it valleted the day before so that was noncence

2 things that really annoyed me (1) The courtesy car I was given was a disgrace as the back seat and boot were covered in some sort of white substance (sand? sugar?) which meant that I had to get my suit cleaned. The team are always friendly & happy to help, however Renault customer service aren't very helpful. I had a faulty bonnet strut back in December, it was meant to be replaced in January. It will only be fixed under my warranty thanks to LeighAnne & Malcolm at the Croydon branch next Wednesday. The staff at Croydon are brilliant.

To start this was the 3rd time in as many months our new vehicle was taken in. Both working full time this was an inconvenience with lost days at work. Hire car costs of over œ100 in excess costs which Enterprise were keen for us to take out (over and above our usual car insurance we have already paid) In addition to requesting an automatic, waiting for over 2 hours for an auto, to then have a manual delivered. Renault at no point ever seemed to care or give a damn at the inconvenience caused. We a had to continually chase and fight to get anywhere. Eventually when the fault was found we collected the car with over 100 miles on the clock, fuel gauge on the red. We understand the need for testing but question the extent of the mileage? In addition to being told they would replace any fuel used. We have had to chase to get any reports of work carried out and are still waiting for a report on this last visit, having being promised it would be delivered the over the weekend following collection. Overall, this experience has taken the pleasure out of purchasing a new car, would we buy from Renault in the future? At this moment in time, unlikely. Very diappointing and a continual feeling of doubt that the car will let me down.

We bought the car in January 2016, and were very impressed. We came back for a service in January 2017, and signed up for a service agreement. We also asked for the rear heated windscreen to be replaced under warranty as it had stopped working. We were told they would order it immediately and let us know shortly. Also they would buy a replacement magnetic fish which they had washed off with a jet spray when cleaning. 9 weeks later i telephoned them to ask what was happening and was told the items had been ordered but were delayed. The very next day they phoned to say the items were now in and we could book anytime and could have a courtesy car. I was a bit suspicious, and felt that they had probably forgotten to order, but gave them the benefit of the doubt, and took the car in. They would have it 2 days to allow time for the glue to dry before cleaning it. When I rang to check when we could pick up, and about the magnetic fish, I was told that the new fish had also been washed off when cleaning and they would order another and send it. When we arrived, they weren't ready for us; We were then told that the glue wasn't dry and so they hadn't cleaned the car (....how then had the fish got washed off?....) and the had ordered a fish and would send it. So we drove home in a dirty car, minus the fish....and actually I now believe we were lied to. And I can't stand being lied to. Why didn't they just say " We are terribly sorry we forgot to order the part, we will do it immediately" The same with the magnetic fish. I understand in a busy garage things can get forgotten. that is a human failing from which we all suffer at times. Dishonesty, even though this may seem a small thing is a choice that people made. I had been impressed with Kayleigh who served us, but now I don't trust what she says to me. A replacement magnetic fish did arrive, except it is not magnetic, it is self adhesive. I prefer not to stick thinks on the paintwork, hence I used magnetic. I guess I will use it, but stick it on the rear windscreen. Again a small point, but if you as a company pride yourself on excellence, then you have no room for sloppiness. Will I use the garage again ? Yes because we pay monthly for the annual service? Besides which, when we went to collect the car I was impressed by the care taken by the other staff members, and in future I will request a different member of staff, and we will start again. On the whole we give your garage a big thumbs up, but on this occasion some petty dishonesty has marred the experience for us.

My Kadjar went in for a service the media unit stopped working. I rang on Saturday morning and the engineer arranged for my car to go in on Tuesday as he was too busy on Monday. On arrival they tried various trucks including removing the latest computer upgrade and re installing. I waited a short while they did this. I was updated that they would need to keep the car to check further. I was rung later and told it needed a new media unit and I was offered a free hire car to be delivered by enterprise until my parts were delivered and fitted. I expected a small car but was given a Nissan x trail similar in size to my Kadjar. When mine was ready on Monday my wife collected it but was unable to return the hire car as not insured. The staff at Renault arranged for enterprise to collect from my home address. Brilliant service throughout.

Dear Sir I am not very happy with the treatment. My car has NOT been repaired and am being threatened with storage charges because I have not been able to remove my car from the site. I think its a disgrace. Renault promotes itself as pro-community and as person who has owned another Renault car before, I always believed this to be so. After what is happening with my car, I am not so sure whether or not this is my view. One would have expected Renault to do something good for the community by not placing too much price on profit. At the end of the day, IMAGE is far more important than profit. That could start by making a simple gesture and offering free repairs to my car to atone for all misunderstandings and restoring community pride and spirit in the Renault brand. As part of the sale we were offered a full tank of fuel. We had to remind the salesman about this on collection. The car although relatively clean didn't look as good as cars I have collected from other dealers in the past. Although the salesman was helpful it wasn't quite the best buying experience I've had.

1. FAKE service carried out ( just stamped the book ) 2. ' approved second hand' check list done in 5 minutes flat 3. The car was very poorly valeted for me picking it up. The windows were really quite dirty, there was "white dust" in front of the steering wheel on the dash (the first thing I saw when I walked up to the car) and the drivers mat was really dirty. There was polish between the body and the flares on the arches. I also found glass in the car but have been contacting Lewis about this. I would expect a Renault Sport car to be prepared perfectly and i had to clean it inside and out when I got home. The sales person, Lewis Triplow was very helpful, he sent me a video of the car as I live in Northern Ireland. He emailed me quickly and talked on the phone as well. I couldn't fault him.

Experience with Mark Harris was quite poor. He was so condescending on Tuesday 4 March - belittled my purchase, saying even if the rear diffuser was damaged pre sale he wouldn't authorise replacement on a 40000 mile used car. Suffice to say part of the attraction when advertised was that the car is still less than three years old. Well, it was damaged pre sale, I've got photos date & time stamped n your fore court. To tell a long term customer that 'the conversation is over' is quite rude, I think?

Generally I was very happy, from making contact on the Phone with Mark, to meeting both Mark & Ernie, to the test drive, to agreeing on price etc etc, my only negative was collection, I was asked to arrive early on the Saturday Morning to collect the Car, I was asked to wait in the reception area, whilst waiting there were other sales people talking and I overheard them saying that Ernie is not happy this morning as that Customer there (me) was here to collect his car, and it had not been valeted, which was clear to see, as when we did the hand over the car was still wet, also there were scuff marks on the centre console, which after the test drive, Ernie said he would get someone to look at that / resolve the marks, which clearly did not happen. Also, after 3 weeks I'm still waiting for my V5 Document, I have e-mailed two people at Renault Croydon and neither of them have responded. Gary

No, but I would like to say a big thank you to Lewis Triplow for his expertise and knowledge regarding the Captur, also his patience when I came to take delivery of my new car. He went through slowly how to use the media in my car, he set up the radio, made sure my ipod worked and I knew how to start the car without a key! I felt valued as a customer and with Lewis help I chose the right car. I would also like to say thank you to Zac who helped me to complete the paper work for the finance agreement without too much stress!! Again he was very patient and went through everything in a timely manner. It was a good experience and I absolutely love my car. I will definitely be back in 3 years when it is time to buy my next new car.

Disappointed that pre-registered vehicle was not cleaned and prepared properly despite plenty of notice.to salesman. Also no follow up from garage, no number plate provided despite asking for one at time of tow bar fitting. Nasty gouges in floor on passenger side need to be repaired - also these should have been dealt with during the PDI. Now I have to travel a round trip of almost 100 miles to get these issues sorted out and AT MY EXPENSE! Not a happy cusstomer

After taking delivery of my car I had a chance to play about with it a bit and found that the tyre monitoring system showed that all 4 tyres had different pressures ranging from 2.0 - 2.8. I've sorted it now but thought it may have been one of the checks that would have been carried out prior to handover.

They were not pushy at all, and went over everything for me. On pick up day, I spoke with Kayleigh who explained about services/courtesy car. I had to come back a few days later for the G3 protection to be applied. Joe from aftersales was very helpful, and sorted this all for me. I went in to check out another vehicle and was so impressed with the Captur I decided to buy it. Dan Clift took the time to chat with me and discuss my options. I hadn't even planned on buying a car that day but Dan was so kind and patient, he really took the time to get to know me and my needs. The finance part was a breeze, Zac had everything ready for me at the agreed price so I just had to turn up and sign the paperwork. When I went to collect the car, it was there; all shiny and ready for me to take it home. Dan sat with me for a while explaining what every button did, no matter how obvious! He even took the time to pair my phone with the car. He was so easy to get along with. I really appreciate his kindness and understanding. Making such a big financial decision isn't always easy but Dan and the team helped take away the worry and anxiety. I love my new car!

I have been using Renault Croydon since 1999 and this is my 7th car purchased from them, if I haven't forgotten a car!! All my cars have been serviced, used parts dept etc through them. What is nice is they know me and are respectful. Very hard when your a woman on your own in a garage! They know that I need my car for my job (community nurse) and any time in the past I had a problem with one of the cars they had it in and dealt with swiftly. They have kept my loyalty this time again by a lovely salesman Joe. As I was worried moving up to a bigger car the kadjar. He took me on a test drive and was very supportive. He spent a lot of time on handover showing me all the new gadgets etc on the car so that I was confident and he was very patient with any questions. Plus even though there were a few snagging issues after. He made it positive, he dealt with them instantly getting them sorted the very next working day in his his usual friendly chirpy manner! Also Mark the manager always makes sure that everything is satisfactory and always welcomes me and checks all is ok. Unfortunately I don't know the friendly reception lady name, but she's amazing! She is very happy, chatty, makes sure you are comfortable. When I was waiting with the children she got them drinks and colouring/drawing to do. Thinking back to past experiences with servicing that has always been good although as staff changed over the years sometimes booking had been an issue. This year I booked my service and mot over the phone and the man forgot to actually book it in on computer. But... they did still do it for me. As service manager sorted this. Other than that that's the only negative experience I have had. So hopefully if they keep up the good work they will be keeping me for many more years! I absolutely love the kadjar, it's great to drive and feels very luxurious in side. Perfect size for me and two active boys.

Great salesman; Daniel was professional and helpful. But I feel let down by the discovery, after purchasing, that the car did not have Cruise Control, as specifically menitoned in the 'Dealer Summary' section. And having this complaint dismissed under the generic disclaimer and being told we should have simply checked everythign ourtselcves before buying has left a very poor experience for us. This particular mistake was made in the 'dealer summary' free text section. Very poor.

The FCA and GAP palaver is a turn off. Cars are complicated devices. Your sales staff should offer experienced support while customers familiarise themselves with their new device. Train your staff in these devices. Customers travel miles to spend thousands with you. Make clear that there are 2 journeys = one to negotiate, and another to drive away. Many of your sales have Renault guarantee. Show off the ease and worth of claiming. eg. what is Aftersales Support?

Why are the questions on this survey so pointless? I was not offered finance because I made it clear I didn't want it. I wasn't 'offered' a test drive- I booked one in advance. Why does the survey not ask about the whole experience? This is by far the worse car purchasing experience I have ever had. The length of time from purchasing the car to collecting it was excessive and the excuses for the delay were poor. I purchased a Renault Demonstration model and was told that there would be a delay in having the car because the one that was replacing it was delayed. However a Renault Customer Relations Consultant told me that " you do not have to wait for the Renault employee currently driving the car to receive a new one, before you can take ownership. Dealerships are however unable to release a demonstration car unless it is 4 months old. If you were to place a deposit on your chosen demonstration model, the employee currently using it will cease driving it to prevent additional mileage being added." The car I purchased was just over 4 months old. When I complained I was told that they would release the car early but due to the bank holiday the work I wanted carried out could not be completed in time. Strangely the day I could pick it up coincided with the day first quoted to me as the day the employee's new car would arrive. Additionally the mileage on the car had increased by 200 miles by the time I collected it and the work carried out was not to the highest standard. I would avoid Renault Croydon where customer service seems to be the last thing anyone thinks about.

I can't answer these questions fully as I'm still awaiting a call to tell me my car is ready! I am very disappointed about this-I seem to have to keep chasing. Also if the salesperson had qualified me he could have found this car for me rather than me going home & then finding it on the website & asking to have a look at it! That also required chasing up as it wasn't clear where it was. After it was found and I went to see it, it had been keyed across the tailgate and as it was before Easter it was not clear how quickly the paintwork could be done. As of today's date I am still waiting a call from the dealership.

Extremely poor service from Dan Clift who was rude, unprofessional and has tarnished my view of the Renault retail group. The car was not checked properly on the collection date with marks/dent on two alloys. After a look disagreement and Dan being argumentative, we finally did complete the sale as we had travelled over 120 miles to collect. Furthermore, I recently asked to purchase another car that was on sale via autotrader. Ricky had promised to let me know when the car was available, I called a few times and spoke with Tamara, a week had passed and he did not even call me. I was then told it was already sold. We have already purchased 3 Renault's in the past 6 months, Megane, Clio and Wind I am currently awaiting the delivery of a new Twingo from an independent Renault dealer. I will never deal with the Croydon Branch again and since you have asked me for this feedback, I shall now forward it to Len Curran and the Customer relations team at RRG, Rickmansworth.

The seats on our vehicle are stained and it was not the vehicle we saw or test drove. As part of the purchase we paid for a 'G-3' clean and then after initially noticing the marks rearranged to have it done again in your Orpington dealership, but the stains are still there. Colleagues in Croydon and Orpington have been helpful, but I'm not sure what to do now. I'm not completely satisfied.

as I live in hull, 260miles away, I arrived to pick the car up to drive back home, hence I did not feel the need to have a test drive, I previously stated prior to pick up that finance was not required , I dealt with one salesman and I did not meet any of your aftersales staff. however I was quite happy with the discussions I had with the salesman.

It is clear that further education is required on the used sales side of the business with regard to the sale of used Renault ZOE vehicles. Although i'm enjoying the car my sales experience was very frustrating and somewhat marred the anticipation of owning a new car. As this was my first time buying a Renault it hasn't set a great impression of how the company operates as a whole.

I had car delivered after seeing it on internet so above questions do not apply. I have spoken to Daniel 're a stone chip on back end above bumper. I am still waiting to hear from him as he said he would get body shop to mix me some paint to cover it up and send to me. I have been waiting over a week now and have phoned twice so hope he hasn't forgot. Apart from that I am very pleased with the car and also the service at Renault Croydon Kind Regards

I wish to express my disappointment in my recent purchase, having travelled from south West Wales to purchase the aforementioned car, the sales man had not mentioned a deep scratch in the front bumper, crack in the rear drivers side brake light and a chip in the windscreen. The car was videoed prior to purchase with marks identified to include a ding in the rear door which was to be repaired. Should I have travelled to a local dealer I am sure this would not have been an issue but having travelled 224miles to find marks that had not been identified or repaired was disappointing. They have agreed to repair the marks identified at a local Dealer Renault Swansea, but they do not have an in house body shop and have to out source the work. We are travelling to France on the 17th July and can not travel with a chip in the windscreen. My father has worked for Renault for 37 years at Gravell's Renault and could not believe that these items had not been identified prior to collection. Regards
