Everything was ok with my purchase experience


Car was a Motability car, realized that I didn't have long enough test drive. Should be at least half day, better if a full day. Ian the Salesman from Cannock was very professional and helped all he could. It would be a help if you made extension pieces for the seats as I needed it to be further back. As it is I am changing the vehicle as I can't cope with it for 3 years.

When I first walked into the showroom,I was allowed to look at the vehicles without feeling pressurised. When I was ready I approached the Sales Executive who dealt with my purchase from start to finish. I already knew which car I wanted so there was no time wasted on deciding. After going through all the details and agreeing terms I felt confident that I had made the right choice. For the next 12 weeks which I believe is the normal waiting period, I was given an update on the progress of my car by the Sales Exec. every Monday as promised. When it finally came to the day I collected my new car the Sales Exec. demonstrated all the functions of the car clearly and precisely. When I drove my new car off the forecourt I felt confident in the fact that it was the right car for me. Throughout my whole experience at Renault Cannock I was spoken to and treated like the only person that mattered. I am very happy with everything and the Sales Exec. I dealt with was exempliary. I would recommend Renault Cannock to anyone thinking of buying a new car. 10/10. Excellent. ??????

My sales executive was Joe Waltho. My Renault experience has been outstanding from the outset. Joe listened to my needs and wishes for my new car and his approach was both professional and friendly. Joe kept me updated with the progress of my new car and I was able to speak with him as required. Everything was explained throughout the whole process and I love my new Kadjar! We always deal with Mike Stevenson, he looks after us. We have purchased 4 new cars in 3 years. Each time we are made to feel special and welcome. He never pushes us to buy. He also knows his cars and takes the time to find out what we want. We will be back.


The dealer experience was first class, but the overall experience was spoilt by the 6 week delay in production with no explaination available as to why.


not feeling too well at the moment to be able to take car back to have the satnav seen too yet as mention before I can only say at this moment in time that I'm pleased with the sales person Zara who as phoned us back to see if were pleased with the car and have said we are all but for the satnav not functioning correctly and askes us to take back and they will look at for us and when feeling better I will do and hope the problem can be solved.

As explained previously neither of my problems were resolved, I have little confidence that they will be during my next visit. The juddering clutch has been experienced by both my wife and I. If it is not sorted then I shall probably terminate my Renault experience and return to Toyota.

I was not sure what vehicle to purchase, and buying a Renault was one I took with some trepidation, as I have been a VW fan for many years. However, the service and support I received was excellent and to date I would have no issue recommending Renault, as the process and service was excellent.


Booked in for a service under a service contract as dash message said due for sefvice, but told later in the day the service contract holder informed renault the car was not due until april.

Renault cannock called me to organise a date and time suitable for me. The staff were very nice and informative. It made the experience very easy.

Actually my biggest issue was with the central booking line. My car was being towed in and I tried to book for my usual location (Wolverhampton) which wasn't taking any cars on site. Fair enough - but the operator seemed quite put out that I hadn't had the foresight to book in advance - for a breakdown!!! Re the dealer, I felt they weren't clear about the cause of the breakdown (water ingress in parking brake - why does this happen? Nobody seems to know.) Also, when being advised they were going to replace the rear brake disc I had to seek confirmation that both would be replaced (it seemed rather strange to it being referred to in the singular). I was then taken through the list of 'advisories' which included a new timing belt - even though this had only been replaced c. 6000 miles previously! I actually got it done slightly early as it suited me whilst the car was in for other work - surely this could have been checked by the dealer before advising it needed doing? Finally, the cover for the offside wing mirror cover had just been left in the footwell of the car - presumably blasted off by the jet washer? I didn't take it up as it was loose anyway following some bodywork some time previously - but I would have though that at the very least I would have been told about this when collecting the car - and at best have the dealership offer to fix it (It's only a question of sticking some glue on it from what I can see). So, overall, the quality of the work was good (I think/hope - time will tell); and the service advisor friendly if not overly knowledgeable - but there were lots of quibbles that prevented this from being an outstanding experience.


Brilliant service no problems


Everyone in the the dealership were polite and helpful. The booking was seamless and everything I had mentioned including a recall notice was listed. The car was ready when I requested and beforehand received a video showing my cleaned car and a minor observation. Picked car up and it seems like the people there enjoy their job.

Always find them really helpful, just one little niggle, whoever jumps in vehicle adjusts seat height and distance which I obviously understand, but they don't put it back to what it was! So when I get in I then have to mess about for ages trying to get it back to my settings, before I can drive off!..also another minor detail I've mentioned in the past surveys, whilst it's great to have my car washed,why miss out the door jams?? They get filthy! Spoils the clean car experience and wouldn't take many minutes more for them to do...

Really good. Checked a few minor problems, they noticed I needed new brake pads and fitted them once authorised by me. Really feel my car is ready for the winter now!

Didn't realise and wasn't told my car would be there most of the day . There wasn't anywhere to sit as chairs had been cleaned and where quite wet which surprised me this would be done during the day when you have quite a few customers .

The service resptionist Jenny or Jannie is always friendly, always willing to help . My only fault is with the sales team , especially Zara the follow up care of her has been none existent , I'm still awaiting my gap certificate, I've phined & been in and spoke to her several times about this , her famous last words "leave it with me" This is my second car from yourselfs , I sadly think it will be last , as I've not been happy with this car and As it was back in for a fault within in the 1st week .

I had nowhere to park my vehicle when I came to acia for my service.. handed my keys in and was given the key to another car to use while my car was in service but the car was not where it said it was going to be and ended up walking around with a mechanic looking for it.. I was told my vehicle would be ready by 4 so I returned back to Dacia at 4 with my children after the school run and sat around for an hour waiting for my vehicle.. I had asked them to look at the cigarette lighter thing and the back rear sensor and felt a bit fobbed off with their excuse as to why these work covered under the repair saying that I had had an accident at the back of my car and I had pushed something into hard to the cigarette thing which just sounded like pathetic excuses to me.. I think I was quoted around £200 for the advisories to be carried out but found the prices to be cheaper elsewhere for the same work to be done.

Very un happy to be informed that Renau have ceased to provide assistance in getting home and back after delivering my car for service, as a disabled driver this is the first time a car dealer has refused to take me home and then bring me back to pick up car....OR the loan of car for the day. I had to take a taxi home and back again. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.

I asked what time my vehicle would be ready as I had my mums 60th birthday meal that evening I had to get from Cannock to Dudley for. I was told that if they could get it done quicker than half 4 they would call but , most likely it'd be half 4. At quarter to 5 I walked into the dealership and the woman was sat with another customer and said to the other gentleman "oh yes here is here paperwork I was meaning to call, we were waiting for glue to dry". At this point I was in a panic about encountering the M6 traffic and did not appreaciate that not only could they have just given me a courtesy call earlier to explain there was a recall and glue had to dry but I hadn't even had a call at all to say the car was ready. Bad service.

Reception staff were amazing but the work that needed doing I took to two other garages who said it wasn't required and on top of that if t was required quoted it as £150 less than yourselves. Not too happy won't trust the service again now which is a shame because you sorted out another problem for me for free and didnt even explain that but wanted to charge me hundreds of pounds more for work that doesn't need doing. Interesting sales / service model to say the least.

Always friendly,polite and helpful. What little cosmetic work that was recently needed on my vehicle was completed quickly and efficiently. However, the customer car park could be a bit bigger, it is quite small.


Unfortunely a fault that I am experiencing was not rectified. I beleive the only way for this problem to be rectified is for a mechanic be with me so i can fully explain and demonstrate the problem. All other work has been carried out satisfactorily.

The customer service was excellent upon dropping my car off and i was kept in touch via an email and text about how things were going. Only one downside, which i guess was lack of communication when i purchased the car from Dacia Cannock, was that i was told that i could wait for my car to be serviced, so planned my day around sitting in the reception area until complete. However, this was not the case but the customer service lady was superb in getting my car serviced as soon as possible. As i had an afternoon doctors appointment, this helped massively.

Excellent experience overall, the guys behind the counter were great. Minor downside, since ball joint repaired and front tyres replaced steering wheel is VERY SLIGHTLY off centre. Worth mentioning to them and returning the vehicle to get it done? No, I will mention it next time it needs to go in. This just stopped it being a perfect experience.

My vehicle has been returned to dealer twice for same issue but with different diagnostic outcomes. The fault may still remain as a repair was not actually carried out, only a swap over of existing parts and a "try that for a while and let us know if it happens again". So far it hasn't. i had booked my car in after it had been looked at by renault assist due to 2 warning lights being on,check injection system and check anti pollution system and lack of power.The RAC mechanic plugged his diagnostic system into my car,and founds some faults to which he emailed me the faults so i could print them off to take with me to Renault Cannock.Prior to this the car had been to Auto world Willenhall and there tech guy said it needed a tsb update to which he said he was waiting for a fix from Renault uk,auto world said it would be fixed quicker at Cannock as they were a main dealer.So off it went to Cannock,on arrival i gave them the print off from the RAC email and and they said they would look at it.they lent me a hire car which i drove home.I had a call from the around 2 pm to say my car was ready for collection,when i got there they said they could not fine a fault with the car and if it happened again to take it in ,since then the fault lights keep coming on,i am in Devon now and they have lit up again,i feel let down by Renault when you cannot find a fault but the Rac can.Surely warning lights dont come on for no reason at all.I also own a Renault Kangoo van of which i use for work,this is my fifth renault vehicle but i a seriously considering not buying another.I need a reliable car as i have a sick mom so need a large boot for a wheel chair, and have lost faith in my Scenic with its fault lights keep coming on.

I was very happy with all work carried out, I was a little annoyed that although staff saw me waiting outside from around 7.50 on a chilly morning I was not allowed inside the premises until bang on 8am. I appreciate I was slightly early but it seemed a shame that I had to stand outside knowing they could see me stood there.

There is an annoying rattle from the rear somewhere which I asked them to check. They say they can not find anything, but it is still there and getting more annoying. There is also a rattle of some kind developed on the front passenger side since coming back. These rattles are making for an uncomfortable ride. Need them sorting.

When I booked my car in I was told it would be about 2 1/2 hours it did in fact it took 5 hours. Nice welcome to the garage. I was pleased to see how prompt and efficient the service provided was. I was kept up to date with the repairs and completion date. The only downside was that I couldn't get a hire car from the garage for the duration of my car's repairs. Perhaps you could invest in more hire cars for the customers. Still great overall experience.


We have found everyone at Cannock excellent at their job. From the minute you enter the reception you get a warm welcome. The reception staff when booking in your vehicle are friendly and knowledgeable, the technicians spend time to explain the work carried out. The car comes back valeted which is another bonus. We travel 18mls from home to the Cannock garage because we know we will receive an excellent experience. Well done all who work at Renault Cannock.


I had a phone call 1 week after the routine service to arrange for car to be serviced. A failure in your systems it would seem.

Disappointed that I still do not receive automatic e-mail confirmation or text messaging to confirm my service booking. Each time I have had to ring again or e-mail to check my "while you wait" booking has been made. The Service Manger at Cannock has again logged a call to try to resolve. I have not heard the outcome of that call to date. All other service from the personnel at Cannock has been good.


My car at first service didn't require any attention I just feel the price of such service could have reflected this as I did find it a bit pricey, however I did want a Renault service stamp in my book and not some independent garage.

Overall I found the experience very good, staff were polite and very helpful. When I first brought the vehicle in for its MOT I found that the exterior had been washed and the front of the inside of the vehicle had been vacuumed but not the back. Also after the NOT and when I went to drive away the vehicle had been parked in such a way that there were cars everywhere and I was virtually boxed in. I had great difficulty in performing a three point turn given the proximity of the other cars and also because I have Osteoarthritis. When I returned to have the parts fitted my husband was with me and the vehicle had been cleaned outside and again inside had been vacuumed although not very well and the back of the car was again left.


I was very disappointed in the cleaning of my vehicle especially as this was one of the reasons I decided to get it serviced at Renault because of the additional service of cleaning the vehicle.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming as soon as I entered the showroom, from Lorraine at the entrance reception to Janine on the servicing reception desk along with Zara and Alex. I have always found this when I visit Cannock. There is a real team atmosphere there and it shows. This was my first time servicing my car at Cannock and so I loved the touch of sending through a mini video of seeing your car in the servicing bay. My car was beautifully Valeted, sparkling and clean when I picked it up. These extra touches make the overall customer experience a great one. I will definitely return.

Very happy, my car is good to go for many more moles now. The engine sounds like new and performs much better .


The staff i spoke to on the welcome desk and the servicing counter were very polite and helpful in explaining the procedure and what would happen, however not being able to speak to the mechanic about the issue i had, i think contributed to the issue not being resolved properly. The desk staff i spoke to even told me they had no experience with the mechanical side of the vehicle which is not something i am upset with at all, but if i need to explain to them the issue and then have them explain that in writing to the mechanic to look at it't just another step in adding confusion to the problem. I explained exactly how to recreate the issue and was told it was written down on the inspection form but that doesn't seem to be the case now as it wasn't fixed fully if at all. I was happy for the mechanic to run my car as long as required for the issue to present itself, usually after 15 minutes on full air flow, but either not communicating this or time constraints in the servicing bay prevented this happening. I can understand this but feel maybe i need to show the problem rather than explain and play chinese whispers through the whole shop.

Iwas told that the service and MOT would take about 3 hours but in fact it was a lot longer


My car was booked in for MOT and service. Instead of doing MOT first, the Service was done first followed by MOT. I was then told my car had failed the MOT and would cost well in excess of £1000.00 to repair. I could not afford this so had to pay £318.00 to get my car back and only received £250.00 for scrappage. My bill would have been over £250.00 cheaper if the MOT was carried out first as the service would not have been necessary. At least then, I would not have lost money. Not happy that the service was done first!!

although I was assured that my used Renault had been MOT'd, serviced and test driven (supposidly) it serverly drove to the right upon collection. I literally drove round the corner and returned the car immediately. I then sat around for an hour whilst the mechanics tried to resolve the issue. As they had to wait for parts, i was then offered a coutesy car. The reason behind buying direct from Renault was to avoid this situation occurring. I may as well of bought private. Extremely disappointed and I am now left wondering what else could be wrong with the car! Two days later, whilst driving the courtesy car I then received a voicemail from the aftersales team trying to sell me a servicing pack? I could hardly believe it!

They handed a van over with no fuel in it, didn't notice till I was on M6 toll road & had to find petrol station, fuel gauge said Zero!! Only just made it of motorway!! Poor poor poor!!!

The check tyre pressure sensor alert activated 5 days after purchase. I rang service dept for advice & was told computer can say pressure sensor when it means tyre pressure? I was advised to check tyre pressures & if ok to ring back & I can be booked into services ( as its not a drive in job ) in 4wks time! I told the lady I had only had the car 5 days and to wait 4weeks was ridiculous. She informed me that discretion might be given for an earlier appointment by the after sales manager. I have not had chance to check pressure levels yet so I can't confirm if tyre pressure or sensor error as computer states. It is confusing if error message is not what is wrong as lady stated. However, I cannot fault the customer services of the sales representative. Any questions I had were answered and I didn't feel pressured in any way re time. I would def recommend sales team.

I dealt with Alex and he was great one start to finish! I drove up from Manchester so dealt with Alex over the phone before coming to Cannock to collect the car. It was worth the 2 hour drive there and back for the brilliant service I received from start to finish. Alex even called to ask how I was getting on with the car which was lovely. Cannock should be glad they have such a nice friendly guy on there books. 5 star service

The main reason we purchased the car was due to the sales executive that dealt with us; Alex Smith. We had already visited another Renault branch that day, but we were underwhelmed by the assistance there. Where as Alex was informative without making us feel pressurised, his honest and friendly sales technique is what convinced us to buy the car.

Michael Stevenson whom sold me the car is a credit to your team. Excellent customer service skills. He invested hours of his time to ensure both me & my family were happy with the purchases. Patient & kind and not condescending in anyway, which is refreshing. He went above and beyond in my opinion in many ways. Not your generic "creepy" salesperson who is just after commision. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Poor advice on which car to buy, diesel or petrol; not told that car should be serviced annually to keep warranty valid; car not on site when I came to pay for it; no follow up call on buying the vehicle - although I was promised one, new car seat covers in ivory and black took over two weeks to come in; still not fitted to car as Alex told me last Saturday (20th June) that he would ring me this week to get them fitted - received no communication and have today emailed Alex who seems to have forgotten that he was going to contact me to collect vehicle this week. I could go on but really can't be bothered. Suffice to say I will not be recommending you dealership to anyone I know.
