I leased a Mobility vehicle through Renault Bolton. The sales staff, in particular David Holland was excellent, I came in a number of times as I couldn't decide which make of vehicle to get. He was always patient each time I came in. When I finally decided on a Captur David completely took care of all the admin, I am delighted with my choice. I also must mention the lady on reception, Holly, she was always very helpful and friendly towards me.

A smooth, professional service from David Holland from start to finish from order to collection. Loved the little videos to keep me updated and email contact was prompt and professional. I have bought a number of renault cars over the years but this is the first time I have purchased one through Renault Bolton. As I explained to David the reason for my change was some excellent customer service by a gentleman in your service department when I called in with a previous Clio to look at a faulty door handle. I said then that I would choose Bolton next time and therefore have done so. I have not been disappointed and will recommend.

Andrew dealt with us pretty much all the way through and he was excellent very friendly if I had any questions would answer all. I couldn't fault him. Excellent customer service. Unfortunately the day the car handover fell on was Andrews day off and he handed it over to another colleague I think his name was David I felt David didn't care as much as Andrew, we were booked in to pick the car up and when we got there the car wasn't ready we were left waiting on our own for a while with no explanation until David came back and said it wasn't ready. When it finally was ready, I felt like he ran through the controls and the tour of the car too fast. I felt as if he had better things to do and couldn't be bothered. It was a shame because everything else had gone so smoothly with Andrew.

Handover of my new car still hasn't taken place! Answers are based on this reason only, they do not give a true representation of Bolton. I'm simply a little annoyed it's taken so long for the handover as my daughter works for a car finance company and she's informed me that generally as soon as I receive the registration of the car it should be available to me no more than a week later. I've now had my registration for approx 4-6 weeks. I'm due to get the car on 13/04/2017

Videos from the dealer were a nice touch- our dealer Gary Howarth was very helpful- we bought the car from long distance so had to do all the transactions over the phone and email- he was very helpful and assisted us with every step. The gent who delivered the car probably wasn't responsible for explaining the features etc but for a long distance delivery this would have been helpful. We weren't contacted by the dealership after the delivery however we knew that if we had any issues we could call Gary Howarth any time.

Takes too long to get booked in - they need to expand their service. Also, my original booking date was cancelled at the last minute and had to be rearranged. Since parts not available, I have had these problems for months and still not settled as each appointment takes around 1 month to arrange. Finally, the parking facility is completely inadequate, and they never have courtesy cars available unless you want to wait a few more weeks!

This was my second disappointing experience. When my car was serviced was advised everything was in the green apart from 1 tyre that was amber, however to get it checked again after another 100 miles. 3 weeks later I had a puncture so took my car to a local trusted garage to be told my tyres were illegal as practically bald and the tracking was out. This would not have happened within 3 weeks.

When I bought the car last year I dealt with Gordon Collison. He promised me a full valet, full tank of diesel and spare keys. The car was not clean, and despite calling for 4 months I had to call the manager to get it sorted, with no full tank of diesel I might add. My car needed service this time I deliberately left it unclean, it was returned with just the mats cleaned. When I got home the 'mirror adjustable button' had been broken off during the service, so I had to return 2 times for this to be fixed. Not happy. I have to say though the women who maintain the reception were very professional and a credit to you.

I was informed by Renault that my car was due its MOT and service a couple of weeks before the deadline. I booked my car in and as usual the service I received from staff on the reception desk to the mechanics was very friendly and professional in manner. I especially liked the fact that I was informed that my vehicle required a new timing belt and had explained to me the problems that could occur if this was not done. Having some basic knowledge, I knew that this was good advice. I will continue to use Renault Bolton for my services and MOT's and would recommend them to friends and family.

I am unhappy with my experience on this occasion. I took my car in for the driver's electric window to be repaired after a fault was identified the previous week. On that first visit I also asked for my air conditioning to be looked at as it didn't appear to be working. I was told it would need a re gas and they'd check for leaks. When I returned they told it it had been re gassed and no leaks were found. On using the air conditioning again I found it still wasn't working and asked for this to be looked at again on this visit. On this occasion a small crack in the radiator was found to be causing the air con to not work. I was told this repair would cost over œ600. At the moment I haven't gone ahead with the work but an angry that there's been no apology that the fault wasn't found the first time round and I have been charged œ69 for the re gassing which hasn't worked/wasn't the fault. I believe this payment should be refunded and would appreciate a call from customer services. My number is 07967 210809

Then a tyre i had asked for a quote on was not available but they could get one for œ104 but i got 1 for œ62 thanks to blackcircles.com. œ104 for a tyre for a twingo, you are having a laugh they are rubber not gold. Overall poor performance and communication from the gent on your service desk.

Lisa was wonderful. I had difficulty finding service when I arrived was the told to reverse my car back past a long line of new cars as it was single lane to the service department and no room to turn. I told one of the men who work there to reverse it out for me so if anything happened it wasn't my fault. Better signage would be good and clearer directions of where to put your car when you drop it off would be helpful. Once I went in and talked to Lisa it was all great. Very knowledgable and professional lady.

When I returned to collect the car I could not find it. Two very helpful men eventually located it behind other cars. When they eventually managed to get it out for me it had not been cleaned (this happened last year) One of the gentlemen who located the car was a valet and he offered to clean it for me, which eventually he did. All of this time over 30 minutes I was left standing outside in the cold not the best of services.

Upon arrival nowhere to park car , not even a disabled spot . Had to get a passing mechanic to park it for me in a tight spot . Rung me to tell car was ready at 17.10 pm and told me they were closing at 18.00pm giving me little time to leave home and take public transport to dealership . I cannot swear to it , but I feel sure that when I booked the car in I was told it would be cleaned as a matter of courtesy , it was not done .

Car was booked in for annual service, had to be brought back for repair. I felt like I should receive a copy of the engineers notes for my own records, no detailed explanation repair which I feel is important, only the limited information from the ladies on the service desk, who to be fair are helpful and polite. Same thing last year, no copy of repair details etc. Also having to pay a fee to reduce the insurance excess is not great, for the sake of œ6.99 seeing as there is a warranty claim surely the garage would look to cover this. Also car had a nice big dollop of bird poo when I collected it, a quick wash as with the service wouldn't of hurt, other than that the repair was nice and quick so please pass my thanks to the engineer and the ladies at the service desk are very polite.

I booked online with the promise of a phone call to discuss my service request within 48 hrs. No such phone call was made and I subsequently chased up by phoning the garage and was told my booking had been cancelled because I made it on Easter friday. I was then told they couldn't honour the booking but would 'squeeze me in' if i could get the car to them in time. I had originally requested a pick up and drop off due to childcare issues. I bent over backwards to get it there and the service was adequate and i was well informed, but they obviously didn't clean it to a very high standard as time was limited. They were very rude on the phone to me and my wife and made it feel like I was doing them a favour rather than spending œ400 at their garage.

Renault provided an excellent service, the only downside was the parking which was appalling with only 1 parking space at 8am then when i collected my car it was blocked in so i to wait 10 minutes while several cars were relocated. This was a shame as everything else was very professional especially the gentleman i booked my car in with.

Great staff and the outcome but it is so difficult to find a parking space. I did have to wait a long time - my car was booked in for 9am and I didn't get it back to after 3:30. I hadn't asked for a taxi or courtesy car as I was told my MOT would take less than two hours. I therefore went to the gym then shopping but still had to kill time in the town centre as I was stuck with no transport. This wasn't a problem but I would have appreciated a more accurate estimate of how long it would take so I couple plan accordingly: I did feel like I had wasted a full day of my time off work.

First arrival to garage there was no where to park and where I put the car drew unprofessional remarks from the car cleaners (maybe why they did such a bad job).When I arrived the office wasn't ready to receive customers. I heard the words 'paper work always goes missing after a weekend' which instilled little confidence in me. I had no issues with the at for a year but now it has been in I have had to take it to another garage due to a squeaking brake and the car had a slow puncture, neither of which the car went in with!! I have very little confidence in Renault Bolton's after sales service.

I have a problem with a malfunctioning radio and cd player which was left with Renault Bolton for a full day they didn't even admit that there was a problem with it and said it would have to be left with them for a couple of days, which another appointment would have to be booked but the person dealing with it had gone home and would contact me the day after. I didn't recieve that call to make another appointment. My wife contacted Renault to book for a service and made arrangements for the radio to be checked on the same day. A radio has been ordered and will be fitted on 24th April but its got to be another full days appointment.

I took my car in for service and mot 1st thing on a thursday morning i then called around 3.30 pm to see how it was going and was told it had failed and they where just waiting for parts to price up what was needed so i asked if it would be done today and was told they're not sure if they have the tyre i explained well i need to know asap so i can organise transport to work due to me starting in a couple of hours because i work nights. I then made one more call but had no joy so made alternative arrangements to get to work, i was contacted around 4.30 saying they dont have what they need so it will be tuesday when they can get it upto pass and retested. Therefore i had to go across the road and rent a car for 4 days which was 146 pound. On the monday night i recived a phone call saying one of the tyres that was to be repaired could no longer be repaired and it needed replacing so i asked will it still be done tomorrow as thats when i needed to take the car back to enterprise and was told if we get the delivery in time it shouldnt be a problem. I dropped my rental car off at 15.00 to aviod having to pay any more money, i then walked over to renault to be told the delivery hadnt arrived yet and its due soon so should be done for around 5ish, i told the women i couldnt wait so will pick it up 1st thing in the morning and she got me a taxi which was very helpful. I went back in the morning to see my car blocked in by a lot of parked cars and was hearing other customers complaining about how it has taken them 30 mins to get onto sight. In all the chaos of people trying to get in and out there was 1 person trying to direct traffic and as i was waiting next to my car for someone to go and get some keys to move the car blocking me in the gentleman directing traffic lit up a cigarette and carried on waving his arms to direct customers in and out which i thought didnt really reflect well on your company. After getting home i saw a lot of white paste or powder kind of substance on one tyre but none of the other 2 tyres that had been replaced so one must not have been cleaned off properly. The one aspect of the visit that was good was the the women dealing with it behind the desk when i spoke to her she was polite and did sort out a taxi for me i think her name was holly. I came to renault thinking i would get a better service than just taking it to kwik fit or somewhere like that but was very dissapionted over all and thought after spending the best part of 500 pound my experience should have been better than this. This is my second renault car in succession bought from the dealership but may have a change next time.

The work carried out was under warranty. I had a problem with the battery on my car and needed to call the RAC to get me going.I tried my local dealer Arnold Clark who told me that it would be at least three weeks before they could book it in.This wasn' t acceptable so I rang Renault Bolton who were able to look at it more or less right away. They said to get it there first thing in the morning and they would be able to fit it in.I did this and they sorted out the problem which involved fitting a new battery. They also cleaned the car and then I was on my way.

The valve on my alloy failed so air was constantly leaking rendering the car unsafe to drive, found it unbelievable that for a relatively small issue it took over 4 weeks to book in and find a solution, meaning my car was useless until the work was completed. Also why on earth is the workshop shut at the weekend? I was left stranded for weeks, no courtesy car, no support I had to go to Kwik Fit to get a short term solution but was very anxious to spend each morning pumping up the tyre and most of a month driving on the motorway to work knowing the valve could fail at any moment. It has actually made me decide against renewing my PPC at the end of the contract as I don't feel like I would be supported in any sort of failure or issue in the future.

I booked the vehicle in due to the drivers door not opening by the outside handle. I waited 3/4 weeks for a suitable date when a courtesy car would be available. On presenting the vehicle at reception I was quickly advised that a door lock would be required and this would be ordered. 1.Drivers seat was soaking wet when i collected my vehicle (probably caused by a mechanic getting wet in the rain?) Vehicle not hoovered properly and alloys still dirty. But i didnt know that this was part of the service provided so it was a nice surprise to come back to my car a lot cleaner than i left it. 2. I thought the video i was emailed was brilliant. 3. I had problems booking and keeping a Service booking. I booked a date for the Service to be done and then Dacia cancelled it so i rearranged it...i was then contacted again by a gentleman asking me to book in. I explained that i had booked the day off work to have my service done and told him it was already booked in and that they have already cancelled on me once already. It turned out that there was an error in communication from Dacia Bolton and the "call centre" who deal with bookings. Confused about the phone call i then phoned Dacia Bolton directly and they confirmed that my original booking is still okay to go ahead. A polite lady explained that they have new staff in the call centre so this may be why this happened. I found the experience frustrating as i thought it had been cancelled for a second time and because i booked a day off work for it. It was resolved very quickly by Staff at Dacia Bolton and i was happy that my original booking was still available. Gary is always extremely helpful and polite, and is very knowledgeable and professional. When i had my roof rack fitted by Dacia Bolton, I received my vehicle back damaged and Gary arranged for this to be repaired at no cost to myself. I was extremely happy with the service and quality of work provided.

Like the fact that I can drop off and pick up the following day. Impressed by the quick turnaround too. The staff on the desk are very efficient. The parking options are very poor with it being constantly busy but I understand there is little you can do about this. As a result I tend to require a staff member to park it for me. As a non-smoker, I'd prefer it if the staff who move cars were discouraged from smoking at work. After my car was moved out of a very difficult space the car stunk highly of cigarette smoke. I was very displeased as it took quite a while for the smell to go.

It was explained to me that it wasn't necessary due to me only doing about 5000 miles. It is the only time in my life that when I have had my Car Serviced that the Engine Oil hasn't been changed. Waited for over 11 MONTHS! for items promised at point of sale to be sent out. Only received them AT ALL after multiple emails...A threat of legal action AND emails to the CEO (Vince Tourette). Unlikely therefore to be particularly enamoured by Renault UK (Renault BOLTON in particular) am I? WELL DONE! for taking an initially straightforward transaction, and turning it into a CLUSTER F**K!

I brought this vehicle for my wife it was her very first brand new car, Gordon the original salesman sold us the car, he said it had reversing sensors on which it hadn't, he did not offer anything other than the car we looked at on the net,no extras no insurances nothing. No documents were sent to us for finance so again my wife chased, eventually John emailed these out after I signed them my wife brought them back to Renault, by hand she also asked John if the finance on our other car would be paid off in time before the direct debit again she was assured it would be, we paid yourselves towards settling our balance on the trade in car the day we chose the new one, Gordon told us the car would be ready 2 weeks later, my wife and daughter were flying away so my wife checked that the car would definitely be ready as she was paying to leave it at the airport and you needed the reg, both John and Gordon assured her that it would definitely be ready, after my wife chased your office almost on a daily basis as nobody was keeping us informed about the car she was then told it had been held at the docks and would not be ready in fact they couldn't give us a date, eventually the car arrived and on her way back from the airport she collected the vehicle, again she asked f the finance was paid off and told don't worry its been paid, she said so I can cancel the direct debit then and she was told yes go ahead and cancel it. You can imagine the upset we then had when a letter arrived saying we had defaulted on our original car, for a full week my wife and I kept contacting yourselves and you even spoke to the finance place to say you had sent the settlement, what a surprise, you hadn't sent it at all, My wife was extremely upset and wanted to give the car back eventually sometime later after I had spoken to the manager he said there had been a mistake and basically your team had lied to us. I think this is absolutely outrageous customer service, We were offered a full tank of petrol which we have never been for, It has taken my wife this long to allow me to complete this survey as she has been really upset over the lack of care and or consideration received from your company and I doubt very much that in two years when we trade the car in that we would return to Renault, its no way to treat a paying customer and then to lie to them is despicable, I await your response on all the above.

I picked up the vehicle on the 19th July - there was damage to the door and rear bumper and a scrape above the bumper on the paintwork which were not there when I purchased it. I was told by Gordon Collison that someone would be in touch about arranging a respray and arranging a courtesy car as I have a six-month-old baby. I also noticed when I got home that the MOT document was not present in the pack and that the service book had not been stamped and filled in for the most recent service done by Renault before sale. I contacted Gordon and he sent the mot promptly and asked me to send the service book though the post as I live about 20 miles away and he would get it stamped, and apologised. I sent the service book recorded delivery in July but have never received it back. By August I hadn't heard anything about the respray so contacted Gordon but he was not in the office. I spoke to another gentlemen who said the person who does the resprays is off for the whole of August and to ring back then, but he will pass the message on to Gordon about the book not being sent. He did also say to me, that, 'in all fairness, it's not that you have a mechanical failure, it is just the paintwork', which is true, but nevertheless I would like some attention paid to it, and was not happy with his attitude seeing as I picked up the vehicle not in the state it was in when I bought it. There were also still some dog hairs in the boot when I got it home, so did not think the valet of the vehicle was adequate. I phoned again at the start of September as I'd still had no reply regarding the paintwork or from Gordon Collison. I was told he was out of the office but would recontact me on Monday. It is now Friday and I have still heard nothing. Gordon was excellent during the sales and when I picked the car up, and perhaps he is not getting the messages I have left, but it is now nearly two months since I bought the car, I have no service book/manual even though it was sent recorded delivery and no one has contacted me about the paintwork, even though I have had to ring numerous times. I am a new mum and urgently needed a bigger car, and thought choosing Renault and going to a main dealer would be hassle free. I have no problem with Gordon, he is a credit to your organisation, but I am still in a position where I have had to give negative feedback because I cannot get issues sorted which should have been resolved two months ago. If someone could contact me I'd be grateful.

I am unable to recommend Renault to anyone. After 1 week I have had to get the RAC too fix the vehicle for a fault that should have been found prior to me picking up the car. I came to the Bolton department due to me having a massive dispute with another garages vehicle and won the case after 62 days of not being with any form of transport and a terrible after care service. So I was very dubious on who I trusted to purchase my next car from. But when I first entered Bolton Renault I initially spoke to Reference Fez in the new car department for my first enquiry into prices and lease agreements etc and explained my situation to him which he was so sympathetic to and did everything he could to reassure me that Renault are passionate of keeping an excellent relationship with their customers as want to keep us for life as you have such an easy transition through you, which I thought was lovely as he was genuine and honest. With me being a manager for Thomson travel agents we look at customer service with everything we purchase and I can honestly say he was stand out. I then dealt with Reference Gordon in the used car department (only because it was slightly too expensive for me to purchase a new vehicle but then noticed on your website that you deal with used vehicles so I came back to you because of Fez's service but needed a cheaper cost) so I did my next enquiries over the telephone with Gordon and he was such a joy to speak to over the telephone as he was friendly, honest and used his personality which again we love to see as a retail manager as it is shows it is not just face to face service you recieve good service. He then matched a price that I had had with Arnold Clark and I purchased with yourselves purely for Gordon's service finally as he kept in touch and the transition was so easy.

As for aftersales I live almost 130 miles away, and I discussed this with Neil and I was working at Renault Doncaster until the last few weeks so I told him I would be taking the car there for all its services. We are absolutely disgusted with the treatment we have received, a deposit and paperwork was completed on two weeks ago we have received the warranty but still have no car. Despite several calls to Renault who told us that delivery could not take place as there was water in the rear end of the car. We have been promised a call back on five different occasions but no one had the decency to call us back to let us know what was going on. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED at the way Renault have treated us and still we do not know what has happened to the car we thought we had purchased.

A lack of communication somewhere in Renault meant that I had to waste over an hour of my valuable self employed time returning to the dealership this week. When I arranged purchase of the car I specifically asked that the hill start assist be turned off when it was being serviced. This didn't happen. I have been a customer of renault Bolton for a number of years, and in the main I receive good service, otherwise I wouldn't come back. But it is annoying when I have to take time off work (which means I lose income) for something which should have been sorted.

My car had some faults (scratches and a torn seat), I bought the car under the agreement that these would be fixed before delivery, however this did not happen, the car was delivered with scratches to the body work and still with a torn seat despite having almost 2 weeks between purchase and delivery. Since then I have tried to contact the dealership every day by phone and sent an email, despite staff being very friendly, so far I have not managed to speak with anyone who can help me, so I am currently driving a damaged car which in its current state I have paid over the odds for.

Hi, I have no questions but I have comments. I have had my new car for three days now because I had booked a weeks holiday just after I picked it up. Neil Hassall was my sales man and the sales process was good, Neil said I had to pay for my car before the end of the month to get the deal we agreed and it would be fully valeted and ready to drive away the following week but this did not happen. Neil said he was off for two days of that week but he felt confident that the car would be ready. I rang him on the Thursday and he they only deliver the cars to the showroom on a Monday so I had to wait till the following week. I rang him on Tuesday afternoon to find out what is there any news and he said he was waiting for an email to let him know where the car is and at that point I said to him rather than wait for the email please phone them now and find out where the car is.! I gave up waiting for a reply and called into the showroom at 5 pm and insisted on an answer. He then told me that the car was in Atherton at a lock up and i can pick it up on Friday. The whole process of buying a new car is that you feel excited, but once I had paid for the car in full, it looked like no one could be bothered to keep me informed and make me feel like I was a valued customer. I have now inspected the car and I can see that the car has not been fully cleaned, there was black dust around each door, the black dash board was covered in marks and main problem is the front windscreen has a large ring on the outside which is in your eye line while your driving. After I have submitted this to you I will ring the showroom to let them know.

I reported that my Capture was doing 36-40 MPG locally,which I am not satisfied with and also traveling to Scotland (motorway) a maximum of 51 MPG which is way out that given out in the specifications .I took it back into Bolton 10/06/16,Service said it was fine & that my mat was touching my accelerator pedal. It did not effect my driving ,I also said that car sluggish .The technician said it was fine,it is not my wife can tell this and she as noticed this & she as not driven it She as a Nissan Note,i have driven hers & noted the difference.The Captur I love I just want the car.

I was due to collect the car on Saturday 26 March but have not collected my car yet as the car failed the mot, parts had to be ordered in and I was told collection could be Tuesday 29th March after the car had been resubmitted for mot. The car needed paint work correction which could not be done as the paint sprayer sprained his shoulder then a specialist painter was called in to do the work which is being completed tomorrow Saturday 2nd April. I have just been contacted to say the V5 has not arrived as yet so I will not be able to take the car until it has been taxed and have been offered a courtesy car. It has now been 2 weeks since I placed a deposit on the car.

I am extremely happy with my new car and with the friendliness of the staff. Because Neil was ill when I came to pick up the car, unfortunately the continuity was lost. I am no nonsense when purchasing goods and knew what I wanted and Neil managed to source me the car. On collection, I was keen on getting in and out and this was achieved. I did however want and need a service plan or servicing details to protect my warranty. I am currently awaiting a call from Bolton following a couple of emails I have recently sent. Only a small criticism as I am very pleased and lucky to land with the very good price for the car. Kind Regards

This sale was done over the internet and I made it clear it would be a cash/part exchange deal. I live up in the North - East of Scotland so could not take a test drive. I had seen a same spec Clio up at Arnold Clark Elgin but got a much better deal - even with delivery costs through RRG Bolton. A couple of questions 1. If there are problems with the Clio during the warranty period - do I contact my nearest Renault dealership which is near Fraserburgh (35 mls away) or can my local garage liaise with Renault to fix the problem 2 You also offer breakdown cover but I'm around 400mls away. Can you do it through Greenflag or other National services or how would it work - not that I'm anticipating a breakdown. Alex

I would recommend to a friend based on the cars experience as it is a nice car however not based on customer service. I was offered a test drive however after i picked the car i was turned down for another test drive in the car that was chosen this was due to it being the same car but with a different registration. I would recommend the dealership renault to anyone purchasing their next car.

Surprised not to get an invoice for the sale. Apparently this get prepared later. Lets hope I get it soon. Did not ask for a Test Drive as I already know and like Renault cars. Did not need finance. Car is very good but surprised that the phone does not have voice recognition as this was extremely good on the Megane I traded in

I found the sales rep Gordon Collisson very personable. However, I was very disappointed upon collection of my new Clio to find it had several scratches and a dent. Gordon apologised and sorted the scratches straight away whilst my friend and I waited. He was unable to sort the dent as the "dent man" was not available. To enable me to take my new car that day Gordon agreed to put in writing that I could return to have the dent sorted FOC. Email to confirm this received before I departed. Having made an appointment I returned the following Friday 16th October. Much to my disappointment Gordon was in a meeting and dent man nowhere to be found! I had to travel back to Buxton, Derbyshire without even been offered a drink and my vehicle still not repaired. I feel my experience regarding your customer service was shocking.

When I purchased the car there was a rattle. The dealer said it was the exhaust and that it would be all sorted during its service. A week later I collected the car. I had to drive the car from Bolton to Oxford on my own. When home and taking the family out. The rattle was still there and had not been sorted all all. The valet was also poor and rushed. I am really disappointed and upset about it. I feel as though they were just looking to get the car sold and as soon as it was they were not interested. Not happy.
