Hi... My purchase was under motorbilaty.. The sale's person promised me a model I did not get and was given at least three delivery dates.. I am now stuck with this car for three years.. I will add that there is nothing wrong with the car I have but I was told it was 4wd and that is the reason I changed from Peugeot to Renault.. Only to find out on delivery of my car that they don't even do a 4wd under motorbilaty.. Very disappointing..

Fez Arshad is a very good representative of Renault Bolton. From the very first time we met him he has been a total pleasure to deal with. He explained the car's features to us very well when we were first interested. He took us on the test drive and was very clear in his explanations of the features of the car as well as all the financial details as we arranged to lease the car. He kept in touch with us very well whilst we waited for the car to arrive, regarding delivery times. He was extremely good when it came to taking delivery of the car, going out of his way for us to get a convenient delivery time. On delivery he went through all the car features again until we were sure that we were confident with them all. He contacted us after we had the car to make sure we were happy with everything and said we could contact him if there were ever any problems. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dealings with him. We have full confidence in him and I hope to deal with him again in the future.

bought my new kadjar on scrappage deal only thing that bugged me was rejected for finance so could not get the 6000 pound off even was offering 10000 deposit so only got the 2000 off for cash price seams a bit of a catch but renault costomer service explained how it works so its ok just very happy with my car and service plans many many thanks

I was a bit disappointed how long I had to wait for my new car. But understand the rs factory only opens at a certain time of year. Gary Howarth dealt with me for my car and did an excellent job. He’s a credit to Renault Bolton .


A very easy and pleasant experience, however I only have one small problem at the Bolton branch and that is parking ! other than this I am very happy.

I've already emailed the following to the manager at Bolton Renault. I was delighted to receive a phone call from Gary last Tuesday advising me that my car would be ready to collect the following day. Unfortunately due to work issues, I wasn’t able to collect it until the Friday. Gary explained that he was off on the Friday however he would come in to run through the hand over with me on Friday morning. Firstly, I want to say what a lovely gesture from Gary, I would have been more than happy for a colleague of his to do the handover however Gary was adamant that he wanted to see the sale through himself. For someone to actually come into work on their day off in my book is going above and beyond what is necessary and displays an exceptional level of customer service. I’m sure Gary had far better things to do on Friday than travel into work on his day off and deal with me especially after my complaint to you. Anyway the handover went smoothly, I arrived as arranged at 10am to find your car park slightly chaotic however Gary was there to meet me and found me somewhere to park. In the showroom Gary went through everything with me, he explained all that had gone on, even showing me the computer system which tells him exactly where my car was up to in the importation/transportation process. He really left no stone unturned in his explanation and I now feel like I understand the process and that you were all doing as much as you could to get me my car delivered. Even though it was his day off Gary did not rush through any of his explanations or any of the paperwork and remained calm despite a slow running IT system which crashed half way through. Out of the showroom Gary presented me with my new car parked in a perfect spot for manoeuvring the busy car park. He fully explained all the functions, what they did and how they worked. I could have read all this in the handbook however it is so much easier when someone takes the time to actually show you how it works first hand. Thank you also for the petrol, the mats, the paint protection and for the car cleaning kit. I can honestly say that I love my new car and that my faith in Renault has been restored. I sincerely hope that your after sales department are as efficient in the future as both you and Gary have been. I am still getting to grips with all the buttons and gadgets which may take a while since I have never driven a car with so many functions before. Hopefully I will not need to ask too many questions however it is reassuring to know that I can contact Gary for any help, possibly via his video links which are a great idea by the way.

I was very satisfied with the handover of my new Kadjar the salesman explained how everything worked and said to return if I needed any further assistance. I will be going back to ask particularly about the miles per gallon as I don't seem to be getting anything like what the books say yet I seem to be hitting all the green lights it shows me, so I need to know if I am reading things wrong or why my mpg is so low.


My only complaint was with the registration with the R-link registration/activation. I received an email from Renault Bolton with the password but was unable to activate it. I was advised at Gary at Bolton Renault to contact R-link directly and spoke to a very helpful lady called Paula who spent a lot of time getting me up,and running. Unfortunately I was not made aware that the call was premium rate and the 40 minute call cost me £22 . I feel strongly that I should have been made aware of this before I embarked upon such a prolonged conversation. I look forward to your comments. Anne Allister

While the work on the car itself seems to be of a good standard, their front of house staff are diabolical. Insufficient communication, losing my contact details, no invoice provided (even when requested again - to which there was no acknowledgement), getting an appointment for collection was hard work - no returned calls etc. If I hadn't taken out a service plan I would take my car elsewhere, and the quality of the service will make me seriously consider not buying a Dacia/Renault in the future. Sorry it is so negative, but I have two cars with the Renault group and on both I've had the same problems with the service department.


Had a talk to your service manager over recent visit to service department and having the car for a full day each time i had a curtsey car this time for the first time which is a help but i th for anyone working it must be difficult for them. This will be the last time I have my Renault serviced i have changed vehicle i have had a few Renault over the years but so disappointed with this vehicle.John Walker

I had a waiting appointment for my yearly service, however it took just short of three hours. I wouldn't consider this a reasonable amount of time. If I'd known it would take this long l would've got a friend to pick me up and return later. I think the customer should be made aware of this prior.

The service offered was efficient, courteous and professional. Everything ran smoothly, there were no surprises and the car was immaculate (having been cleaned both inside and out) when I collected it at the agreed time. All costs were covered by my Service Plan.


Ruth the advisor in the workshop was very helpful and polite she explained what had been done however I did explain that I was not happy with what she was explaining, although she was just relaying to me what she had been told as she is not a mechanic.

The customer services department when i'v took my car in have always been helpful and caring.


I haven't used Renault Bolton for a few years following a serious error made by a technician carrying out a health check where the coolant filler cap had been left loose. This resulted in the car overheating only days later. I hadn't had cause to remove the cap myself, and the only other people having access were Renault Bolton. Unfortunately it was my word against theirs, so I stopped using them. As the parking brake motor required ECU programming once replaced, I had no option. They are now likely to have more work, but I shall still be wary!!


I left some money in my cars recess. When I returned to my car this was gone. It was only £1 coin which I use for my shopping trolley but that is not the point. I have mentioned this to a member of staff Who contacted me but nothing has come of it.


The car was collected from my home and returned at the times stated, the lady on reception was very helpful over the phone and even when I wasn't able to pay due to not being at home it was no problem, as I paid a little later in the day. All a trouble free experience. well done!

I've been completely satisfied with all my dealings - from sales to servicing. Recently I took the car in without any advance notice with a query about brakes and it was given a thorough check which set my mind at rest and with no charge which I thought was superb service!

I just asked for a mechanic to look at the tick over on my car but not happy having to leave the car for almost a full day it had been serviced a couple of months earlier & i was not happy from then over the tick over. I also asked to fit a pair of front wiper blades that i had tried to get from 2other car surpliers giving my reg & not getting the fitting that should fit. So had to purchase from Bolton Renault & i think i was ripped of £45 the other 2 charging around £ 22 so not happy with Renault.John Walker


They picked my car up for serviceing. Brought it back very clean. sent a video on my phone explaining what they had done. Brilliant.


Before i took my car to renault bolton i explained that my vechile had been in a car accident and had been poorly repaired by an approved garage for Sheilas Wheels. I needed them to check the vechile and give me a written report as to if the problems with the vechile (faulty fuel gauge and rear window wiper broken) were related to the accident. When i came to collect my vechile thwy explained the report stated that the repairs needed were not related. I asked how they had come to this assumption ans i was yold that the techniqition could not comment on someone elses work as they had not completed the repairs on the vechile. I explained that thwy should have told me this before i booked it in as thwu told me they could provide me with a report and state if the repairs are accident related or not. I am extremely unhappy with the level of service as when we drove the car away they told me they had reprogrammed the car and the fuel gauge was working. My partner broked down 3 days later on a busy duel carrage way with my 1 year old son in the car due to running out of fuel with a quater of tank of petrol showing. So renault had not repaired the problem as stated when i picked the car up. I rang renault back up and explained this and thwy told ne that i needed to bring the car back in. I explained that i was not happy having to pay again as they didnt do the job thwy said they did the first time round. The looked at the car and informed me that they would need at least 2 hours labour to check the vechile over to see where the fault was. Yet a technition wrote on a report that the repiars were not accident related when they did not even know what or where the problem is. I collected my car and they cahrged me a further 59.00 i do not feel that i shpuld have been charged. I would like thia to esculate to a formal complaint as i am not happy with the level of service provided. I do not feel i was listend to and due to them telling me my fuel gauge was repairex my partner and child were put in an extremely dangerous situation by breaking down (running out of fuel with the tank showing a quater full) on a very busy bypass.

I appreciated that my car was collected and returned to my house after the service. The only thing I would like to mention is that the aerial hadn't been put back and I found it on the passenger seat, I didn't contact the service department as I was able to screw it back myself.


We informed the service Department that the washer motor and off side head light bulb needed replacement before the MOT. they did not do them. Instead Failed it on those as well back brakes.


Unfortunately, my car was not cleaned on this occasion - it has been on every other occasion which usually makes the experience that bit better. There were also a few issues with the correct information for my booking being carried over correctly - I had arranged a collection and delivery appointment for my vehicle online (Enquiry Number: 1821754) and found out that this wasn't the case when I phoned the day before to check details, but they said that a complimentary car would be available for me instead. When dropping my car off at customer services it turned out that there were no complimentary cars available. Ruth in customer services handled the mix-ups very professionally and was apologetic. She arranged a fully paid for taxi to take me back home and pick me up for the collection of my vehicle, which really helped me out! Very friendly and great customer service from Ruth and the other nice lady on duty with her at the time which made what could have been a bad experience much better by solving problems that weren't their fault!


we have a motability car,and wanted to arrange collection,but this was not possble,so had to take the car myself,fortunately i was well enough at the time to do so.

With no weekend working, this delayed the start of the work. Having to hire a car, was costly, as no courtesy car is offered. Waiting for parts to arrive is troublesome as staff couldn't say when they would arrive. Very helpful customer relations: Elisa, who communicated well, extremely customer focussed.

Customer service and service desk are wonderful, the workshop have got some cowboys in it, failed my mot on a chip on my windscreen and passed it on my brakes, another mot station passed it on the chip but made me change my rear pads because they were metal on metal and they actually even showed me, also on this vehicle, horn wasnt working, they changed the horn which work but in doing so messed up the indicators

It would have been helpful if customer services could have rung me to let me know the engineer was on their way to collect my car, but apart from that everything was OK.


I asked the service dept to look at my car as it had randomly been over reving whilst in low gears or when stationary. I had to wait several weeks for an appointment as I needed a courtesy car in order for me to work that day. Although this car was free I am disappointed that you have to pay an excess (particular when this is a new car (July 2017) and the 2nd time I've had to bring it in (the first time was due to the number plate being damaged and plastic outer door trims being scratched which I pointed out to the sales dept when I originally collected the car. On this recent occasion the person on the desk told me that they couldn't find anything wrong with the car and that the technician said that over reving sometimes with Dacia's and that it was not a concern. So basically a waste of time taking it in. If this is the case customers should be told about this issue when they purchase the car.

the car was returned not cleaned and I was contacted at 5-55PM to pick up the car I did ask to be contacted when the car was ready and was told it would be around 5 PM. I tried to contact the service dept. several times but kept being transferred back to reception who eventually said they would get someone to call me back asap.by the time I got the call I was making my way home on public transport.I had to collect the car the following day. Very inconvenient.


Compared with other dealerships, the service is excellent.


The reception girls are great, so helpful. When you wait at Parts you are completely ignored. This Parts department at Bolton is famous for being crap. The car park is total chaotic disgrace. I think Renault Bolton is contemptuous of its customers.

I was informed that my vehicle would be cleaned inside and out. but it wasn't done even though the checklist had been ticked. I contacted the dealership initially by phone and was informed to drop my vehicle off sometime. This is not acceptable as I am disabled and my vehicle was collected from my property for the service. Therefore, I do not feel that I should have to make an inconvenient and unnecessary journey. I also received an email with a video showing my vehicle. I replied to this email regarding my dissatisfaction about the cleanliness and also to point out that the incorrect Vehicle Reg No was given in the email. So far, I am still awaiting a reply.


Person who booked my car in wasn't very friendly, I was also contacted to say a check had been done to see if the car had a valid MOT I was told it didn't which was inaccurate , I also had to ring to see if my car was ready when I'd been told they would contact me.

the courtesy car I collected in the morning had 0 fuel in i had to go straight to the petrol station and had not been cleaned had the previous users rubbish still in from the night before.


Only thing i had issue with had a phone call asking how the service went i asked about a service plan. The lady said someone would phone me back as of yet no phone call.


Dear Sir/Madam, Well where do I start from the Wednesday my wife ringing Dacia to me eventually picking up my vehicle on the following Monday after work everything was pretty much a shambles. There was no clear communication and I'm still waiting now for report on the work carried out on my vehicle that I was assured would be sent to me by post when I collected the vehicle. There are a few points I'd like to raise and I would like a response: 1. The work was not carried out at Bolton, my vehicle was taken to Manchester. I authorised this to happen as I was informed on the Friday from a gentleman on the phone that this would hasten the work to be carried out on my vehicle. I can confirm that Manchester sent me a text message at approx 4pm that day showing why there was a water fault however on speaking to Bolton on the Saturday nobody had any knowledge the work had been carried out and when I did collect the vehicle on the Monday the staff at Bolton still had no knowledge of what the fault was with the vehicle. 2. I bought the vehicle the last week of November 2017, therefore less than 12 months ago and me and my wife were informed that we automatically received 12 months warranty, however when I queried this the lady working at the desk said she would let me know if this was correct and would ring me on the Thursday the same day I dropped the car at approx 10am, but I didn't get a call that day. The following day the lady informed me that we have no warranty in place and any warranty does not cover water damage - I must say I don't have any confidence in this answer. 3. The lady stated on the phone call on the Friday that labour work could take up to 1 hour and 30 minutes that would then cost an approx amount £154.00, I stated on the phone if that length of work is required on my vehicle then I would be happy to pay this amount. I received a video clip from the text message I got from the person who carried out the work at Manchester and it would not have taken 1 hour and 30 minutes for the work to be carried out. When I collected my car I queried this but as the lady had not received the report from Manchester yet she could not tell me the correct cost and I had to pay £154.00 but she would contact me once the report was received to discuss correct amount. To date as states previously I've still not had a report through the post and the lady has never contacted me, which is approx 2 weeks ago tomorrow when I collected my vehicle. 4. On collecting my vehicle as I waited for my car keys, on the signage in the waiting area stated that a courtesy vehicle would be offered if my vehicle was to stay with Dacia, I was not offered a courtesy vehicle that then hindered me and my family for the days you had my vehicle and I had to pay additional transport costs during that time. If someone wants to contact me I'm sure there is more, I'd need to speak to my wife or relay through the notes I made at that time and I could state a more detailed time line of events.

Very pleased with service and experience


We've still not received an adequate reply on basic questions, I wasn't provided an invoice/receipt for the service, I had no contact after to check all was ok. They did not review all the aspects on the pre-supplied queries list, nor referenced the one they missed. Mediocre at best. Historically, they've asked my wife to score them higher than we would have been comfortable doing.


At my last visit Iwas told that there was a software solution been developed for a stop start problem on the car. This time nobody knew anything about it. The car will not restart immediately after it has stopped.

Having had my cars serviced and repaired at Renault Bolton for many years I feel I am past of the "Family".


I was supposed to have courtesy car but unable to have one as I was not told to bring my driving licence with me


I had to wait several weeks for my first appointment and a further two weeks for the follow up. The staff at Bolton Renault have always provided excellent service since I bought my car two years ago. However it seems that the Bolton Renault site is too small for the volume of business and is understaffed. As I have said the staff provide a very good service under the circumstances.

Paid in full in advance for a 3 year service deal. Car went in for 1st service 10 days ago with an unusually low mileage of approx 5,400 owing to my wife having been ill for most of this last 12 months. On returning home looked at check sheet, & noted everything was a 'check', including engine oil ie had NOT been changed. Spoke to service manager, who said because mileage low, no change necessary! That means the oil will NOT be changed for another 12 months, & will have been 'working' in car for 2 years. Consider this unacceptable & advised service manager of this fact. No response or reply. Therefore, consider I have been 'ripped off', by them not carrying out a proper service when paid for. Have bought 5 cars from this dealership, and seriously considering whether I buy another from them because of the service manager's negative attitude to my request for information. Definitely not happy!

Rang and was told car was being worked upon. This was less than truthful ie it was a lie. The lady who spoke to on phone told me she would ring back half to one hour. When we got there she denied saying this even though she was on loud speaker saying this with my husband hearing this. In conclusion I am very happy with the work that was done on car, but certain front of house staff I would not recommend whatsoever ie not happy at all. As such I would not recommend Renault to anyone whatsoever.

Was charged £60 for a diagnostics test, when we already knew the issue at stake and charged this on top of the service and on top of the new sensor part which was arranged to be fitted over 4weeks later,due to no availability on Weekends.


Everything was handled very well and my car was ready for collection at the agreed time.


My experience encountered difficulty in finding a parking space due to the volume of new and used vehicles on site. I'm sure this was the case for others bringing their vehicles to a dual franchise business. More thought required to have spaces available or staff around to ensure parking is made more accessible at peak times!


Service was good but you can not park in garage, it took 20 minutes to leave the car for service . On return with courtesy car took another 15 minutes to find somewhere to park it .

I have been coming to Renault, Bolton for over 10 years and always felt completely satisfied with the service experience. However, since the dealership has added Nissan and Dacia, customer access and parking are now very difficult and frustrating. The old-one way system with direct access to Manchester Road has gone (to display vehicles) and, for visitors, manoeuvring vehicles is much harder. I also felt on my last visit that the reception staff were more stressed than they used to be. Still very pleasant and helpful, but possibly overworked!

Took ages to book in. Car wasn't available for hire. Had to go back get in the queue to sign for different hire car. There was no fuel in the new car and it was beeping and empty. No one took me through the car just handed over. When I spoke to manager regarding petrol situation I was told to basically deal with it and I wasn't getting the car for free with loads of petrol and I should be expected to put fuel in. Basically he told me to take the car and get on with it. Whilst he was smoking. Lovely! Even the guys who worked with him were shaking their heads!


I took my car in for an MOT, as my car was a Clio I had previous experience of the dealership which I must say all previous visits were very satisfactory. On this occasion after I dropped the car of I got a call the following day asking me to pick up the car, when I arrived I was kept waiting for a long time with no explanation. I got up and walked out only to receive a phone call telling me that my car was not ready(I think they must have mixed me or my car up with someone else). It was the Bank Holiday weekend and the dealership was busy but there's no excuse for just ignoring a customer. I had to make another trip back to Renault to collect the car as it had failed it's MOT and needed over £1000 worth of repairs. I mentioned that I would prefer to buy another car than pay that amount to fix the issues. At this point seeing as I drove a Renault Clio Campus you would have thought I would have been offered a part exchange or encouraged to buy a car from the dealership but this didn't happen so I took my business elsewhere.


I would like to make you aware of a miscommunication between your Sales and Service. When I purchased my car last year I paid extra for the Gen3 product to protect the exterior and interior of my car. At the time of purchase I was advised that in the event of my car being involved in an accident and bodywork parts being replaced, the Gen3 would be recoated free of charge. As my car had been involved in an accident when I booked my car in for service i asked for the Gen3 to be reapplied. When I checked my car into service I was asked who was going to pay for the product to be reapplied. I pointed out that it was free as it is included in the purchase. Your service team advised me that the guarantee only applies to the product that had been applied on purchase I would have to pay the full price for it to be reapplied. I had to go and speak to one of the sales persons in order for them to clarify this with the service department. I would still recommend Renault Bolton, however feel let down by this miscommunication. I will not be purchasing this product in the future if I have to go through hoops to have payment clarified.

Car promised to be ready for 4.00pm but I had to call at 5.30pm to see what was happening I was told it was now ready just the paper work to do.It was too late to ick up up before 6.00pm so collected the following day It was disappointing as the car was dropped off on Tues afternoon so it would be ready by 4.00pm Wednesday


Greeted well from the reception staff but was booke in for a wait appointment for a service and mot at 10.30 and was told my car would be ready about 12. I was going out for the day so dropped the car off at 9am and said as long as it was ready at 4 that would be fine. At 3.30 I hadn't heard if the car was ready so called and was told they hadn't even started the mot and it wouldn't be ready till 4.30 at the earliest. Unfortunately I was going out do had to pay for a taxi to collect my car the next day!

Waited for over 11 MONTHS! for items promised at point of sale to be sent out. Only received them AT ALL after multiple emails...A threat of legal action AND emails to the CEO (Vince Tourette). Unlikely therefore to be particularly enamoured by Renault UK (Renault BOLTON in particular) am I? I brought this vehicle for my wife it was her very first brand new car, Gordon the original salesman sold us the car, he said it had reversing sensors on which it hadn't, he did not offer anything other than the car we looked at on the net,no extras no insurances nothing. No documents were sent to us for finance so again my wife chased, eventually John emailed these out after I signed them my wife brought them back to Renault, by hand she also asked John if the finance on our other car would be paid off in time before the direct debit again she was assured it would be, we paid yourselves towards settling our balance on the trade in car the day we chose the new one, Gordon told us the car would be ready 2 weeks later, my wife and daughter were flying away so my wife checked that the car would definitely be ready as she was paying to leave it at the airport and you needed the reg, both John and Gordon assured her that it would definitely be ready, after my wife chased your office almost on a daily basis as nobody was keeping us informed about the car she was then told it had been held at the docks and would not be ready in fact they couldn't give us a date, eventually the car arrived and on her way back from the airport she collected the vehicle, again she asked f the finance was paid off and told don't worry its been paid, she said so I can cancel the direct debit then and she was told yes go ahead and cancel it. You can imagine the upset we then had when a letter arrived saying we had defaulted on our original car, for a full week my wife and I kept contacting yourselves and you even spoke to the finance place to say you had sent the settlement, what a surprise, you hadn't sent it at all, My wife was extremely upset and wanted to give the car back eventually sometime later after I had spoken to the manager he said there had been a mistake and basically your team had lied to us. I think this is absolutely outrageous customer service, We were offered a full tank of petrol which we have never been for, It has taken my wife this long to allow me to complete this survey as she has been really upset over the lack of care and or consideration received from your company and I doubt very much that in two years when we trade the car in that we would return to Renault, its no way to treat a paying customer and then to lie to them is despicable, I await your response on all the above.

I picked up the vehicle on the 19th July - there was damage to the door and rear bumper and a scrape above the bumper on the paintwork which were not there when I purchased it. I was told by Gordon Collison that someone would be in touch about arranging a respray and arranging a courtesy car as I have a six-month-old baby. I also noticed when I got home that the MOT document was not present in the pack and that the service book had not been stamped and filled in for the most recent service done by Renault before sale. I contacted Gordon and he sent the mot promptly and asked me to send the service book though the post as I live about 20 miles away and he would get it stamped, and apologised. I sent the service book recorded delivery in July but have never received it back. By August I hadn't heard anything about the respray so contacted Gordon but he was not in the office. I spoke to another gentlemen who said the person who does the resprays is off for the whole of August and to ring back then, but he will pass the message on to Gordon about the book not being sent. He did also say to me, that, 'in all fairness, it's not that you have a mechanical failure, it is just the paintwork', which is true, but nevertheless I would like some attention paid to it, and was not happy with his attitude seeing as I picked up the vehicle not in the state it was in when I bought it. There were also still some dog hairs in the boot when I got it home, so did not think the valet of the vehicle was adequate. I phoned again at the start of September as I'd still had no reply regarding the paintwork or from Gordon Collison. I was told he was out of the office but would recontact me on Monday. It is now Friday and I have still heard nothing. Gordon was excellent during the sales and when I picked the car up, and perhaps he is not getting the messages I have left, but it is now nearly two months since I bought the car, I have no service book/manual even though it was sent recorded delivery and no one has contacted me about the paintwork, even though I have had to ring numerous times. I am a new mum and urgently needed a bigger car, and thought choosing Renault and going to a main dealer would be hassle free. I have no problem with Gordon, he is a credit to your organisation, but I am still in a position where I have had to give negative feedback because I cannot get issues sorted which should have been resolved two months ago. If someone could contact me I'd be grateful.

I came to the Bolton department due to me having a massive dispute with another garages vehicle and won the case after 62 days of not being with any form of transport and a terrible after care service. So I was very dubious on who I trusted to purchase my next car from. But when I first entered Bolton Renault I initially spoke to Reference Fez in the new car department for my first enquiry into prices and lease agreements etc and explained my situation to him which he was so sympathetic to and did everything he could to reassure me that Renault are passionate of keeping an excellent relationship with their customers as want to keep us for life as you have such an easy transition through you, which I thought was lovely as he was genuine and honest. With me being a manager for Thomson travel agents we look at customer service with everything we purchase and I can honestly say he was stand out. I then dealt with Reference Gordon in the used car department (only because it was slightly too expensive for me to purchase a new vehicle but then noticed on your website that you deal with used vehicles so I came back to you because of Fez's service but needed a cheaper cost) so I did my next enquiries over the telephone with Gordon and he was such a joy to speak to over the telephone as he was friendly, honest and used his personality which again we love to see as a retail manager as it is shows it is not just face to face service you recieve good service. He then matched a price that I had had with Arnold Clark and I purchased with yourselves purely for Gordon's service finally as he kept in touch and the transition was so easy.

We are absolutely disgusted with the treatment we have received, a deposit and paperwork was completed on two weeks ago we have received the warranty but still have no car. Despite several calls to Renault who told us that delivery could not take place as there was water in the rear end of the car. We have been promised a call back on five different occasions but no one had the decency to call us back to let us know what was going on. A lack of communication somewhere in Renault meant that I had to waste over an hour of my valuable self employed time returning to the dealership this week. When I arranged purchase of the car I specifically asked that the hill start assist be turned off when it was being serviced. This didn't happen. I have been a customer of renault Bolton for a number of years, and in the main I receive good service, otherwise I wouldn't come back. But it is annoying when I have to take time off work (which means I lose income) for something which should have been sorted.

My car had some faults (scratches and a torn seat), I bought the car under the agreement that these would be fixed before delivery, however this did not happen, the car was delivered with scratches to the body work and still with a torn seat despite having almost 2 weeks between purchase and delivery. Since then I have tried to contact the dealership every day by phone and sent an email, despite staff being very friendly, so far I have not managed to speak with anyone who can help me, so I am currently driving a damaged car which in its current state I have paid over the odds for.

Hi, I have no questions but I have comments. I have had my new car for three days now because I had booked a weeks holiday just after I picked it up. Neil Hassall was my sales man and the sales process was good, Neil said I had to pay for my car before the end of the month to get the deal we agreed and it would be fully valeted and ready to drive away the following week but this did not happen. Neil said he was off for two days of that week but he felt confident that the car would be ready. I rang him on the Thursday and he they only deliver the cars to the showroom on a Monday so I had to wait till the following week. I rang him on Tuesday afternoon to find out what is there any news and he said he was waiting for an email to let him know where the car is and at that point I said to him rather than wait for the email please phone them now and find out where the car is.! I gave up waiting for a reply and called into the showroom at 5 pm and insisted on an answer. He then told me that the car was in Atherton at a lock up and i can pick it up on Friday. The whole process of buying a new car is that you feel excited, but once I had paid for the car in full, it looked like no one could be bothered to keep me informed and make me feel like I was a valued customer. I have now inspected the car and I can see that the car has not been fully cleaned, there was black dust around each door, the black dash board was covered in marks and main problem is the front windscreen has a large ring on the outside which is in your eye line while your driving. After I have submitted this to you I will ring the showroom to let them know.

I reported that my Capture was doing 36-40 MPG locally,which I am not satisfied with and also traveling to Scotland (motorway) a maximum of 51 MPG which is way out that given out in the specifications .I took it back into Bolton 10/06/16,Service said it was fine & that my mat was touching my accelerator pedal. It did not effect my driving ,I also said that car sluggish .The technician said it was fine,it is not my wife can tell this and she as noticed this & she as not driven it She as a Nissan Note,i have driven hers & noted the difference.The Captur I love I just want the car.

I was due to collect the car on Saturday 26 March but have not collected my car yet as the car failed the mot, parts had to be ordered in and I was told collection could be Tuesday 29th March after the car had been resubmitted for mot. The car needed paint work correction which could not be done as the paint sprayer sprained his shoulder then a specialist painter was called in to do the work which is being completed tomorrow Saturday 2nd April. I have just been contacted to say the V5 has not arrived as yet so I will not be able to take the car until it has been taxed and have been offered a courtesy car. It has now been 2 weeks since I placed a deposit on the car.

I am extremely happy with my new car and with the friendliness of the staff. Because Neil was ill when I came to pick up the car, unfortunately the continuity was lost. I am no nonsense when purchasing goods and knew what I wanted and Neil managed to source me the car. On collection, I was keen on getting in and out and this was achieved. I did however want and need a service plan or servicing details to protect my warranty. I am currently awaiting a call from Bolton following a couple of emails I have recently sent. This sale was done over the internet and I made it clear it would be a cash/part exchange deal. I live up in the North - East of Scotland so could not take a test drive. I had seen a same spec Clio up at Arnold Clark Elgin but got a much better deal - even with delivery costs through RRG Bolton. A couple of questions 1. If there are problems with the Clio during the warranty period - do I contact my nearest Renault dealership which is near Fraserburgh (35 mls away) or can my local garage liaise with Renault to fix the problem 2 You also offer breakdown cover but I'm around 400mls away. Can you do it through Greenflag or other National services or how would it work - not that I'm anticipating a breakdown. Alex

I would recommend to a friend based on the cars experience as it is a nice car however not based on customer service. I was offered a test drive however after i picked the car i was turned down for another test drive in the car that was chosen this was due to it being the same car but with a different registration. I would recommend the dealership renault to anyone purchasing their next car.

I found the sales rep Gordon Collisson very personable. However, I was very disappointed upon collection of my new Clio to find it had several scratches and a dent. Gordon apologised and sorted the scratches straight away whilst my friend and I waited. He was unable to sort the dent as the "dent man" was not available. To enable me to take my new car that day Gordon agreed to put in writing that I could return to have the dent sorted FOC. Email to confirm this received before I departed. Having made an appointment I returned the following Friday 16th October. Much to my disappointment Gordon was in a meeting and dent man nowhere to be found! I had to travel back to Buxton, Derbyshire without even been offered a drink and my vehicle still not repaired. I feel my experience regarding your customer service was shocking.

Hi, I didn't need a test drive as I had already driven a Master. I didn't need finance as I'm a cash buyer. Will use a more local Renault dealer for sevicing. Regards

When I purchased the car there was a rattle. The dealer said it was the exhaust and that it would be all sorted during its service. A week later I collected the car. I had to drive the car from Bolton to Oxford on my own. When home and taking the family out. The rattle was still there and had not been sorted all all. The valet was also poor and rushed. I am really disappointed and upset about it. I feel as though they were just looking to get the car sold and as soon as it was they were not interested. Not happy.
